This home is rustic and full of character, but still provides all you need for your stay on the Outer Cape! This historical home was once the old North Truro Post Office and features a very unique living room decor that is quite the conversation piece! Living room has seating and a pull out queen sofa with wood burning stove. House also features 1 full bathroom, outdoor shower, dining area, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms that are connected including 2 full beds and a twin with trundle.

Sip your coffee or adult beverage on the front porch waving at passerby's and enjoy the serenity in the outdoor shower after a day at the beach! There is a backyard for walking your fur babies too!

You can't beat how close the beaches are to walk on or drive on with an ORV Permit. Walkable to Cold Storage Beach, 2 miles to Highland Beach & Head of the Meadow, 3.5 miles to High Head Beach, 9 Miles to Race Point Beach. Short 12 minute drive into downtown Provincetown. If you don't feel like driving, this property is along the bus route so bus transportation is available.

    September Getaway

    From start to finish, Gretchen was the most attentive host. Both my Fiancé and I have never travelled to the Cape with our dogs before which made it a little nerve racking. Gretchen made it such a breeze. The cottage was perfect for all of our needs. All the supplies we possibly needed were left for us and even a little basket of pet supplies just in case we forgot anything. She had such great suggestions of things to do in the area including spots that were pet friendly. One thing is a must; if you do have a 4WD vehicle get yourself an ORV permit which makes getting to the beach so much fun! Pets are allowed on certain parts of the beach as long as they are leashed. September is such a great time to head up to North Truro. The weather is still perfect and Provincetown is still very active. We will definitely be booking again for next year! show more show less
