A 4 bedroom house that is a 5 minute walk to a private bayside beach, our home has a deck and living space on the upper floor, with beautiful sunset views. A fully equipped kitchen, along with our herb garden is perfect for cooks to use with local seafood and produce from farmer's markets. A beautiful and cool screened porch with swings for lounging is another outdoor spot to relax.

The middle level and lower level contain 3 queen bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, additional living space, and laundry room. We have 2 1/2 bathrooms, and a sizable outdoor shower, with room for you to change. We have mini split air conditioners, ceiling fans in every room, comfortable beds and lots of closet space.

Outside, we have a garden with flowers and veggies and a meadow farther down. Our location is very private, yet so close to our beach.

We have owned the house for over ten years but never rented. So our house feels like a comfortable cape home, with books, art and special touches that will make for a memorable vacation. We are close to both Provincetown and Wellfleet.

    Beautiful Truro Escape

    Our family made wonderful memories during our stay last week. This Cape house had everything we needed and was prefect for our vacation. We were so impressed with the spacious kitchen, rooftop deck, screened porch, comfortable bedrooms, outdoor shower and beautiful gardens. We learned about the history of Truro through paintings, photographs and books displayed throughout the house. My favorite was the 5 minute walk to the private association beach! Janis was quick to respond to our needs and provided detailed information about her home. We miss it already and hope to return next summer. show more show less

    Wonderful Truro house near private bay beach

    We had a great week in this newly renovated, smartly decorated, air-conditioned house in short walking distance from a lovely bay beach. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare and enjoy great meals with excellent cookware, cutlery, beautiful plates, pretty cloth napkins, and a good stove, and there was a gas grill on the spacious deck, with a picnic table and umbrella. We also appreciated the airy screened-in porch, lovely flowers and garden, large washer and dryer, comfortable beds and open layout of the upper floor, with plenty of attractive chairs and couches.     This home was so well equipped and outfitted that I felt like we were home - except we weren't - we were tucked away in the tree tops of magical cool breeze Truro. The beds were super comfortable, the living room furniture, the outdoor space was all top notch. Kitchen had it all, and house was stocked with anything we went looking for. Quiet, with the perfect cape cod outdoor shower and gorgeous gardens, inside with fabulous books and great art, and proximity to the Cobb Farm's bayside beach - we spent another wonderful week on the outer Cape.     Our whole family had a wonderful time at the Cobb Farms house. Check-in was easy and convenient. The house was clean and well equipped. The walk to the bay beach took minutes, the area was quiet and beautiful. The location was convenient to many other attractions, including the ocean, Providence town, Wellfleet, Truro winery, restaurants, and multiple ponds. Would definitely go back, five star rating

    This is the first time I'm opening up the house for renters - but I've had several people stay here over the last couple of years. I love this house and want to make sure any renters have a wonderful vacation!

    What is special about this property?
    The property is in a great location, with such easy beach access. It's never crowded on our beach and the bay is perfect for swimming, and kid's activities. It's a very comfortable house and one that feels like home, not a spare rental. Plenty of kitchen supplies, comfy beds, books about the cape, and a quiet community. You can ride a bike to Wellfleet center via the backroads or do a short drive to magnificent Ballston Beach.

    What is special about your town?
    Truro is a lovely, rural outer Cape town just below Provincetown. We have a wonderful farmers market on Mondays. It's quiet even during the busier months of summer and features a music venue - Payomet performing arts center - where you can see name performers, and also has a summer circus!
