We had a great stay at Sylvia's house! The home is just as pictured. Lovely kitchen, with great common spaces, nice views, and lots of peace and quiet. The house was very clean when we arrived, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Location is nice -- convenient to all Truro and Wellfleet have to offer. Beds are comfortable and we all slept very well. Overall, I'd highly recommend this house for a family or a small group. Communication with Sylvia was easy and pleasant! Hope to stay again.

We spent a wonderful week in this charming house. It was super comfortable, with windows all around , some facing the Pamet River and others with gorgeous flowers right outside, giving it a cottage feeling. Loved all the mix of antique/midcentury furnishings, and eclectic art. The kitchen is spacious and nicely renovated with plenty of storage. The two ground floor bedrooms are privately situated: one in it's own"wing" with a bathroom, the other bedroom off the kitchen, with a bathroom across the kitchen. We didn't use the open loft bedroom area but it is nicely appointed with two beds.We were two couples, and it was the perfect amount of space for all of us. A very quiet location at the end of a dirt road, and a fifteen minute walk to Fisher beach, but there is a small parking area there, and driving was easier when taking chairs, umbrellas etc. Hoping to go back there again!

This property is the most peaceful spot I've ever stayed on the Cape. It's deep in the woods, with literally no outside noise. Cross ventilation allows for soft breezes to flow through the house and a cabinet full of games and puzzles made it perfect for a rainy day. The bedrooms are well spaced, leading to ideal privacy conditions for as many as three couples, the kitchen is large and well equipped and the grill worked perfectly and we loved the outdoor shower. Bonus for our household of musicians: A newly tuned piano! We hated to leave and can't wait to come back!

Each summer, I look forward to returning to this marvelous spot. It is well appointed, quiet and has a beautiful view of Pamet Harbor. The grounds are lovely and well cared for…windows open to beautiful views and the Truro air is so refreshing.

We were delighted to find this quiet getaway in Truro tucked away near the bay side with a view of the Pamet Harbor. Awaiting is a fully-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, grassy patio with lawn chairs, games and puzzles for everyone in the family, and split A/C units in both bedrooms and living room for comfort. A 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Fisher beach was great to watch the sunset over the bay. Great for families with young kids or a group of adults!

My extended family and I enjoyed this house: the location near Fisher Beach, the pretty views of the Salt Marsh during the day and during sunset, and the artistic and charming design of the home. I highly recommend a walk thru the marsh and learning about the evolution of trap fishing and the creation ( and eventually demolition) of the Cold Storage processing building and tower.

The house was well apppointed with dishes, pots and pans, and a washer/dryer. There are also many good books, games and puzzles. The shed contains great chairs, foam floating boards, and an umbrella. Sheets, bath towels and beach towels were plentiful.

Sylvia was very easy and pleasant to interact with. She proactively asked for improvements in the cottage - very impressive. And I explained upgrading the pillows and adding a foam topper to a couple beds would be beneficial. She agreed to explore the suggestions.

Sylvia's home is one we hope to return to year after year. It has a lovely, incredibly well supplied kitchen that makes cooking as a family a joy. The main living room, with its exposed beams and vaulted ceilings is the perfect place for conversation, games, or quiet reading. All the beds are quite comfortable, and every single room in the house has a beautiful view, whether it's of the lovely gardens surrounding the house, or the ocean bay with P-town in the distance. Other amenities include a washer dryer, outdoor shower, and a peaceful outdoor seating area where you can sip coffee or cocktails and enjoy the view. This is a really special place, wonderfully furnished, and filled with windows that connect you to the outdoors.

Comfortable, private, perfect!
We had a lovely week at Sylvia's house! Our family felt right at home and we made so many great memories with our kids. They loved all the games and books and playing catch in the big driveway. It's a great location on a super quiet private drive, very close to beaches, P-town and Wellfleet. The view is even more beautiful than the pictures show, and we had our coffee outside in the mornings enjoying the fresh air. After a day at the beach we'd wash the kids outside in the outdoor shower and we made use of the stocked kitchen to make meals. If you want to feel like a local this is your spot, it feels like a cool old house that's been in the family for years and we felt instantly at ease. We kept the windows open and the fans on during the cool hours and it was comfortable in the mornings and evening to sleep. (There is no a/c so if you plan to be in the house during the middle of the day in mid-summer it could get warm.) Sylvia was communicative and helpful when we had questions. We would definitely rent here again!

Lovely home with lovely views of the bay. Our multi generational family had a wonderful time, the house invites lots of good conversation and play. Piano was really fun! Sylvia is quick to respond and wants people to have a great time.

We vacationed with our three small children- ages 6, 3, and 1. The cottage worked great for us! The location of the cottage is private and quiet. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We especially enjoyed the modern kitchen. The views of the water during the day and lights of North Truro and Provincetown at night from the backyard and loft bedroom were fabulous and we enjoyed the cool breezes through the numerous windows of the cottage. We walked down to Fisher Beach one day and also took advantage of staying in Truro and purchased a Truro beach parking permit for the week to enjoy the many other beautiful Truro beaches. Sylvia was very responsive and helpful. It was our first vacation to Cape Cod and we can't wait to go back!

Sublime property
This wonderful home was perfect for our family. It feels very private, with a wonderful view over marshes to the bay. We felt very at-home with the tasteful and interesting furniture, artwork, and books. The space was well designed, with spacious dining and living areas where we could all relax comfortably together, while the bedrooms and loft provided privacy. The house is well appointed with all the linens and kitchen equipment one could wish for.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's very peaceful amidst a beautiful, natural setting with a view of the bay in the distance. The house is quaint and has a nice variety of interesting furnishings and artwork. The kitchen was relatively modern with plenty of good equipment, dishware, etc. There are lots of nice windows for fresh air and breezes. Bedrooms allow for a decent amount of privacy and convenience, with the exception of the loft which although slightly less private, is nonetheless a nice room with plenty of space. The location is excellent with relatively easy access to beaches and towns. Sylvia was very kind, communicative and available to us if necessary. We would stay here again.
