I would like to start my review by saying Scott was a sincere pleasure to work with. He was available, but non-intrusive. My husband and I arrived later than we expected. We did not have our 3 boys as this was a much needed vacation for just the 2 of us. Upon arrival, another tenant
expressed that we needed to move our motorcycle trailer because of the view. Scott quickly responded and found a safe place across the street without skipping a beat. Thank you, Scott!
I experienced my first Harley ride at 51! Upon entering the cottage, the AC was cool and the place was immaculate. Scott had sent email directions and everything was incredibly efficient, well thought out, and stylish. If you are wondering about the pull out couch and it's comfort, do not. This was the most comfortable pull out and mattress. My husband is 6'3 and he was very comfortable. The bedding and linen was very comfortable and my husband liked the sheets so much, he checked what company they came from to purchase them for home. I got a kick out of that one! The space may be small, but the cathedral ceiling with high powered fan is wonderful. We never felt like we were in a small space. Also, the central AC unit is powerful. As far as clothes storage, we both loved the boat chest of drawers. The kitchen has everything you need. The washer and dryer is perfect. Also, immaculate. The deck is an extension of living. Beautiful sunsets, P-Town Monument view, birds, beach roses everywhere. The beach is right down a path. Go down in the morning and come back for lunch and a nap! Perfect. Although there are other tenants, you feel completely private. The peace and quiet is amazing. I read an entire book without interruption under the giant umbrella on the deck. A tenant would pass by and quietly say hello. We went to P-Town daily and enjoyed all of the restaurants we have come to love. A new one for us was Kung Fu Dumplings. Delicious! As always Bubala's and a drink at George's was wonderful. Stop and Shop is right around the corner, no worries. Ocean beaches are also close, but if you are a Bayside girl, you will be in heaven. We will be back, but I fear this hidden gem will be discovered! Hopefully, Scott will remember that we took care of it as if it was our own because you could not help but feel the complete love, pride, and attention to detail that the owners most definitely feel for their property. If you yearn for a peaceful, beautiful setting where you can sit on your private deck and watch the boats sail by - or walk down a sandy path to a lovely bay beach to swim, walk, or collect shells - or pour a glass of wine and enjoy a gorgeous sunset - and then watch the skies for shooting stars as the lights of Provincetown twinkle across the bay, then Sweet Pea is for you! We spent so much time on that wonderful deck appreciating the sand dunes, rugosa roses, nesting birds, fresh breezes, and direct view of two lighthouses.

From inside Sweet Pea, you can see the bay from every window. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. There was decent storage, and the furniture was comfortable.

There is definitely a laid back feeling in the community. Neighbors were friendly, but not intrusive, and always respectful about noise levels. The owners, Scott and Philip, were quick to return messages and always responsive to our needs.

Staying at Sweet Pea was such a memorable experience. It's a very special place with a setting that can't be beat! show more show less
