We had a wonderful family week at Whispering Pines. While we didn't need the A/C, it was great to know it was available. The home has everything you would need, is warm and welcoming and has many fun activities, and we tried to take advantage of them all! Having an upstairs and downstairs living areas was helpful as some are late nighters and other early morning folk and that worked out well. Unlike some other rentals the kitchen was stocked with the things you might expect (spices, oils, foil and wraps, etc…) which meant we didn't have to bring or buy many essentials for a 1 week stay. The home was very comfy inside and on the wrap-around deck and we spent time everywhere! We hope to return soon.

This house offers everything you could possibly want for a comfortable and well appointed vacation home! The house is spacious with various inviting spaces to play, have quiet time, or mingle. The pool table was an especially big hit for our Cape Cod Olympics weekend. The gas grill was the best I've ever used which made cooking at home super easy. The house was very clean and the washer/dryer made short work of any laundry.
The location was perfect with quick access to all of our favorite Cape haunts and beaches. Our host was extremely communicative and responsive. But there were no issues at all. There was even a charming gift bag with various items intended to make our stay even more satisfying. I have rented in Wellfleet and Truro for decades and this house was hands down our favorite!

We had a wonderful week at Whispering Pines! The house was clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and had everything our group needed throughout the week - bikes, games, books, and a well-stocked kitchen. The location is excellent, a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the Cape. The A/C was a welcome refuge on a few very hot days. The property is beautifully landscaped and has many peaceful spots to sit outside, drink coffee, read, and relax. We especially enjoyed making dinner on the grill and dining on the screened-in eating veranda. Esther and Art were very responsive and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely rent again and hope to be back next year!

Our family of five adults and one infant had everything we needed and more during our stay at Whispering Pines. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen and beach supplies, books and games. Art and Esther were most gracious hosts who left clear instructions for the house and were readily available for any and all questions. The layout provided plenty of space, the neighborhood is quiet and close to our favorite beaches as well as Provincetown and Wellfleet. Sitting among the treetops on the deck was just lovely! We would definitely rent there again.

We had a very pleasant, quiet time in this rental. There was plenty of space and nooks to read and relax. The house was very clean. The house was well stocked for cooking.
Our hosts were very attentive to our needs. We knew they were there to help us if we needed anything. The weather was outstanding and that helped to make the beach time great.

Great house, great location convenient to everything. Everything provided to have a great vacation. Would gladly rent again.

All amenities at this house were outstanding. Truly a beautiful home. We enjoyed the close proximity to several our favorite beaches and other attractions.

We loved our stay there from the moment we arrived until we left. The shed with many varied bicycles beach, toys, umbrellas were a wonderful amenity for a large family with children and gradcildren

Perfect stay...this is our 2nd year returning to this wonderful house..the owners couldn't be kinder or more helpful...after returning to the Cape over the last 50 years...we can't wait to come back for our third summer.

We had a great 2 week stay at Whispering pines in Truro. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. Our extended family had plenty of space. It was convenient to both the bay and ocean beaches as well as Truro and Ptown.

What can I say about our week at Whispering Pines except that it was PERFECT?! Clean, spacious, and comfortable. The air condition made it a nice oasis from the heat. Perfect fit for our family of 4, including 2 teens, as they each had their own bedroom. 3 bathrooms (and the outside shower!) also makes life away much easier when away. Perfectly appointed for the Cape, the house had everything you can ask for inside; cooking utensils and equipment (loved the induction stove), board games and foosball, to name a few, but for outside as well; beach chairs and cart, bikes, and umbrellas. You name it, it was thought of.
Just off Rt 6, which was hardly heard through the trees, and perfectly situated between Ptown (shopping and the Squealing Pig) and Wellfleet (Macs, Macs, Macs!), add in 5 minutes to the ocean or 5 minutes to the bay, and this house was really the perfect location for us.
Art and Esther were extremely easy to work with, and their house that they so graciously shared with us helped make for another PERFECT week in Truro. We can't wait to come back.

Whispering Pines is a very pleasant place to stay, particularly if you have a party of several generations or families. As the listing says, the downstairs has its own kitchenette and can be treated as a slightly separate living space. Doors downstairs can also be opened and shut in various configurations for privacy. If you're the kind of group that tends to focus on cooking, the main kitchen might be a bit of a drawback: It's a galley walled off from the rest of the space, and there's not a ton of counter space for prep or room to cook/socialize together. The location is super, the grounds are beautiful, and the beds are comfortable. Art and Esther are attentive, responsive hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay at Art and Esther's house in Truro. It was our first time to the cape and the location was perfect. It was very easy to go to the many ocean beaches and bay beaches. Provincetown was only a 15 min drive and the whale watching trip was amazing ! The house was well-equipped with everything we needed ..bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys for the little ones and even a corn hole set which provided hours of entertainment.The screened in porch was perfect for our evening meals. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation at the cape with beautiful beaches and plenty of restaurants.

We loved the house! Fantastic outdoor spaces (no bugs this year was a bonus), close to Long Nook & Ballston (our favorite Truro beaches), interesting architecture & the welcome gift was a nice surprise. Best outdoor shower we've ever seen! We really enjoyed our week stay and would definitely recommend it to others!

We had a wonderful stay at the Whispering Pines in Truro! There was plenty of space for our two families (4 adults and 4 young kids) to spread out and relax. The house had everything we needed from kitchen accessories to bikes and games! Located off route 6, and up a small hill makes the property very private and quiet. The new outdoor gazebo was a great place for the adults to enjoy dinner after the kids went to sleep and with no bugs!

The house is also in a great location between beaches. We enjoyed sunset at Great Hollow Beach every night. Esther and Art are extremely accommodating and great hosts! Highly recommend!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the digs at your beautiful home in Truro. The owners were always available and went the extra yard to ensure our positive experience. We would highly recommend this home to future renters.

We rented this Mid-century modern house tucked in the Truro woods at the end of summer. This beautiful and spacious house easily accommodated a number of family and friends who stayed with us for varying lengths of time.

The house has multiple seating areas inside and wrap-around decks outside providing plenty of space for both conversation and privacy. The galley kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans, efficient and centrally located; the farm-style dining table was big enough for a crowd.

The house is located near the center of Truro, near both outer-Cape and inner bay beaches, Truro Vineyards, organic farm stands, fish markets and restaurants. It was an easy drive to both Wellfleet and Provincetown.

We would definitely rent here again!

Right off 6 but tucked away in a beautiful wooded lot with tons of privacy, Whispering Pines is a lovely base to unwind and relax on the Cape. The house was well-stocked with everything and very clean and organized. The kids absolutely loved the ping pong table and spent many hours competing.

Art and Esther were highly responsive and they have some of the most comprehensive information ready for you before you arrive. Everything went off without a hitch.

Location-wise, you are just a short drive into Truro, Wellfleet, and not too far from Provincetown. There are great restaurants very close by - Montano's, Black Fish, Mac's Shack, Moby Dicks, The Bookstore so you don't really have to stray too far if you don't want to.

Corn Hill beach on the bayside was fantastic. $20 one-day parking pass or you can buy a week pass for $75. You can use it for Head of the Meadow too but we stuck to the bay side mostly. Also highly recommend renting kayaks at the Pamet Harbor Yacht club. It's a beautiful paddle up the river and back with Blue Heron, cormorants, ducks, geese, and deer. We loaded the bikes and took them to the Province Lands Trust bike trail too which was a good length and great views at Race Point.

What a special home! My partner and I spent a whole week at Art and Esther's rental house with several of our close friends. This home is spacious and all of our favorite things to do on the cape were within a very short drive. The house itself served as a great place to relax (the wrap around deck was always sunny and provided a great place to take a post beach nap :) - so relaxing that sometimes we chose to just stay in and play ping pong or one of the several provided board games, take a walk around the neighborhood, or cook a seafood dinner with the well stocked kitchen(s!) Thank you for such a pleasant and memorable stay!

Such a beautiful setting inside and out! We loved the privacy and spaciousness. The open concept gives plenty of room for everyone. The kids enjoyed their downstairs quarters with a closet full of games and especially loved the mini pool table!

Our favorite beach was Longnook Beach, just a few minutes away (also a fun ride by bike)! One morning we managed to get there for sunrise - absolutely breathtaking!!!
Watching the sun set at Corn Hill Beach (bay side) while roasting marshmallows over a beach fire (need to get a permit from town) was also quite an experience!

The owners Esther and Art were extremely helpful and responsive, gave us lots of tips and information!
