We had a wonderful week with family in this beautiful home. There were 8 of us, plus 1 dog.
The house itself is perfect: spacious, lots of comfortable seating, sunny, well-stocked, beautiful patio with lots of outdoor seating, and gorgeous view of the sunset. It's a 5-minute walk to the association beach, and to the tennis courts. The setting is beautiful, quiet and peaceful, but close enough to route 6 and lots of restaurants and things to do. Ira and Beth were a pleasure to deal with: really good communication, including letting us know what was already in the house that we didn't need to bring. Access was super easy. They have truly thought of everything to make guests comfortable! We loved it, thank you Ira and Beth!

Our family of 8 agreed that this was one of the nicest homes we've stayed in at the Cape, this being our fourth family vacation in the area. Its cleanliness, conveniences of outdoor seating options, recent upgrades, closeness to the beach and fish market, and a game room were definite pluses for us all. Those in the kitchen appreciated the quiet dishwasher, well stocked cupboards and pantry, and, of course, the clam steamer and coffee pot! I loved the light that the many windows provided, and space to spread out. We're hoping to return another year.

Beautiful, spacious and well designed house with every amenity a family could ask for! Pictures don't do it justice! Lovely wrap around deck to sit and have meals and listen to the ocean with beautiful pergola and comfy seating. Two minute walk to quiet bay beach. Outdoor shower for after beach, well equipped kitchen and a large playroom with ping pong table.

House is immaculate, beds are comfortable. Comfortably accommodated 6 adults. Terrific owners who are very responsive to all communication. Already booked our stay for next summer.

We have had the fortune to visit and stay at this wonderful home for the last two summers. After years of trying to find a home that works for us, we have finally found a summer rental which is perfect for our family! The owners are caring and thoughtful, and they have thought of everything to make your visit special. This home has your every need taken care of--a beautiful outside space with an outdoor shower and large dining table, along with lots of options of different seating to watch the shooting stars and a beautiful new pergola which keeps you cool under the sun, many sleeping options with large bedrooms for an extended family, a full-chef kitchen, a fun game room, and a quick walk to the beach.

The home is well-appointed, and everything in the home works well and is up-to-date. This home is situated within the wild dunes of Truro on the bayside, so it is quiet and great for kids when it comes time to swim or an after-dinner walk. The location is close to Provincetown and Wellfleet, which makes it convenient to many things. We highly recommend this home for all types of groups, especially young families and families with adult children.

Our family of 4 (plus our wonder dog) was enamored with this home's location, layout, cleanliness, and access to a private beach. Truro has always been our preferred location on the Cape, and this home was perfect for our family needs. This beautiful house, met every need we could have possibly had - and with all of its little surprises and ideal location, allowed us to have a wonderful home base option for our very active family, while at the same time being perfectly located for jaunts to the National Seashore beaches, P-town, Wellfleet, etc. The very quiet neighborhood was beautiful, where we enjoyed a 3 minute walk to the private beach entrance every morning for our dog to swim and play. Only a few other beachgoers were ever around, allowing for a sense of solace and recharge, and even frequent fishing -- all while not worrying about social distancing! The updated kitchen was perfect for making quick meals at the house, and the porch and patio layout was phenomenal, capped off by an incredible view of the Milky Way every night.
Finally, Ira and Beth were fabulous to work with- they not only made the stressful vacation planning easy, they also helped with researching and connecting us with locals when planning our activities in this uncertain world right now. They truly have pride in the care and management of this house, and we were honored with the opportunity to be guests in their home. We would love to go back!

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home and enjoyed every minute. The comforts of the home itself along with the beautiful outdoor space, including a beautiful new pergola, comfortable lounge furniture and big outdoor dining table with umbrella, made for a week of relaxation and fun. We were 2 families of 3 and the house is laid out perfectly for 2 families to spread out and have plenty of space. The kids loved the ping pong table. Each morning we walked to the most beautiful bay on the Cape and walked and swam. The proximity to the house is ideal. The neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. We would highly recommend this property for a lovely stay in Truro. We can't wait to get back.

Great Stay
The house was well-maintained, organized and stocked with everything we needed. The property owners" instructions were very clear, and everything was very convenient. A lovely home.

A real gem
In 40 years (and about 40 houses) on Cape Cod, we finally found a winner. Great location, walk to the beach, well kept and designed home, awesome ping pong room for people to congregate, convenient grill outside. Our 8 person-1 dog party really enjoyed staying here and are sure to come back. Thanks Beth and Ira!

Perfect getaway!
The house is big and the floor plan is very accommodating to Company. The area is beautiful with other very private upscale homes. Would recommend without reservation.

Welcoming space ....
Truly a lovely home in a lovely setting - the house was well equipped, bright and comfortable. The setting was private, peaceful and inspired by the ever changing horizon and access to the beach. Much appreciation to the owners who have given careful consideration to the details of their home and to the needs of their guests. The owners were responsive to any question. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lotus House.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house is bright, clean, and in a quiet lovely neighborhood.
Our week was wonderful. The home is in a private, peaceful neighborhood and minutes from the beach. The bay side beach and home location was perfect. The home was very bright, clean, and spacious. The outdoor deck, patio and shower were enjoyed every day and made the already great home excellent! I would definitely rent this house again. We loved it all and found the owners quick to answer any of our questions. Thank you

excellent property
Wonderful home for our vacation. Easy walk to private beach. No crowds. Close to p-town and Wellfleet. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on the large deck. Especially enjoyed the hanging lounge chairs. Would definitely rent this property again. Pete
