This was our 23rd consecutive summer renting this beautiful cottage from Jane and Greg. Every year is just as special and spectacular as the last. The cottage itself is welcoming, comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and immaculate. However, the views and location are truly spectacular. A private, picturesque beach off of the deck on one side, and a stunning, endless salt marsh on the other. I couldn't imagine our summer without spending a week in this fantastic cottage.

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay in this space for an extended weekend and it was absolutely wonderful! From the tranquil views of the beach, to the light interior of the space, we truly felt as though we were in a home away from home. We were even able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset - truly as though we had the ocean to ourselves. Not only that, but the space itself is situated in a great location, just a short distance away from activities. We would 100% stay here again as it was definitely worth it. Thank you for an incredible stay!

This beach house is picture perfect! We have rented from the owners for a few years now and each time is better than the last. From the quiet beach off the deck, to the view of beautiful sunrises and sunsets, it is one of the most relaxing and peaceful places to be. Even when the weather didn't cooperate, watching the ocean from inside the lovely home was enough to make our vacation complete. We look forward to our next visit.

This beautiful beach cottage with its touches of luxury and its wraparound deck offers a treat for the senses and a sense of renewal. During a long, cold, and blustery weekend in February, I soaked up the sunshine, slept soundly to the song of the surf, and walked the sandy shore that was private and studded with treasures from the sea. On two of the four days, I sat in one of the Adirondack chairs on the bayside deck warmed by the sun; on the third day, the marshside deck offered a sunny refuge from the wind. To be sitting outside in the winter was a bonus due to the way that the decks are located and furnished.
Inside the cottage, the magic continues. The long windows and sliders frame the spectacular views of the sea. Feng Shui abounds, and the layout delivers excellent use of space and ease of function. Spotlessly clean and luxuriously appointed, the home with its raised fireplace offers a cozy, spa-like experience.
Jane and Greg are gracious, caring, and experienced hosts. Their beach cottage is extraordinary. I hope to return to this slice of heaven.

A Nor'easter knocked out power to Cape Cod the first night of the stay, but we had a perfect adventure in this stunning cottage, thanks to the kindness of Greg and Jane.

Supplies dropped off by our hosts and an abundant stash of firewood made the cottage comfortable, and since it was off season we got to meet some of the friendly locals.

We stayed at the cottage during a beautiful week in October with our little pup. The view from the deck was lovely; walks on the private beach were magical. Enjoyed sunset over the marsh every night.
The cottage was comfortable and cozy with all the amenities needed.
We enjoyed our relaxing week at the cottage and recommend it.

Just over an hour from Boston, the Beach Cottage is a world away and the most perfect vacation spot! Located on a private beach on Cape Cod Bay with spectacular views and stunning sunrises and sunsets, the Beach Cottage backs up to an ever-changing salt marsh with the changes in morning and evening sunlight and endless opportunities for birdwatching!

The cottage is luxuriously appointed and well equipped for the gourmet cook. Sitting on the private beach during the peak of the summer season, it was gloriously private and added to the sense of a true getaway. Evening fires on the beach were the icing on an otherwise perfect cake!

The hosts, Greg and Jane, have thought of everything - luxury towels and sheets, beautiful furniture, robes and toiletries, even binoculars to look at large ships traversing the Cape Cod Canal enroute to the port of Boston. This Beach Cottage is simply MAGICAL!

My boyfriend and I made a trip in early April (off-season) to Greg and Jane's tastefully appointed beachfront cottage - this getaway was intended to be a break from our urban lives but ended up being so much more! Every step from reserving the cottage to checking in and out was effortless and pleasant. The owners are incredibly hospitable and we were deeply appreciative of their extra consideration of our stay - even coming by to remove storm shutters while we were out, so we could enjoy unobstructed views of the beach, which is truly just one step away.

The property is cozy and seemingly has everything you need. Because it was off-season (and COVID-19) we cooked the majority of our meals at the cottage and never for a moment did we feel shorthanded. There are plenty of shops in town with local goods. The kitchen is fully functional and we found the large dining table to be an incredibly warm and comfortable space in the house. The bathroom was surprisingly sizable and hot showers were a welcome treat after some chilly mornings on the beach. The house is in pristine condition and it appeared that the deck floors were even recently updated. The owners clearly have a lot of pride in the property and take superb care in its upkeep.

While we had the great fortune of beautiful weather and were able to spend substantial periods of time on the private beach (I think we only saw one or two other people on it for our entire visit) the cottage is so comfortable that we would have been plenty content if the weather was less accommodating. Every room has windows and the home is light drenched in the most wonderful way. The bedrooms face the marsh and we found all of the furniture to be very comfortable. We only used the main bedroom but there was a lovely bedroom with two twin beds and closet space. There are plenty of outlets, strong wifi and every creature comfort you can imagine - The owners really thought of everything: Extra blankets, robes, hairdryer, outdoor shower, professional grade flashlights in case of emergency.

Truly, there was nothing more we could have asked for. We are already planning our return trip! We cannot recommend this cottage and its hosts enough. A very special place with very positive vibes.

My husband, daughter, and I came for a weekend to have a change of scene during the COVID winter. The cottage was sparkling clean throughout, and looks out on the ocean on one side and the marsh on the other. Amazing, glorious views. It felt private and serene. Unfortunately, it was a bitter cold January weekend-- the coldest weekend they've had there over the last few years --so our walks on the beach were very brief. We mostly stayed in and read, played games, listened to music, cooked, sat by a blazing fire. The crashing of the waves was soothing, and the beach is dotted with interesting rocks and stones.

Beds were very comfortable, heat was fine, the kitchen had what we needed (though there is only a half-fridge; there is a full fridge and freezer in the walk-out basement which served as storage area for their outdoor furniture so wasn't really accessible. We kept ice cream outdoors since there was no freezer--it worked fine! ) The only drawback: we found the dining room bench and chairs and the living room furniture to be fairly uncomfortable, and since we had to spend most of our time inside, that was disappointing. Also, it would have been easier to be able to pay our deposit and balance online (Venmo or Paypal or credit card) rather than by mailing a check.

Owners were responsive and easy to work with. We would love to return sometime in weather that allows for sitting on the decks or the beach, whether in summer or off-season. Overall, we heartily recommend this cottage.

My husband and I enjoyed the cottage in December. It was beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived with red roses on the table and bose music playing in the background. The owner was great to work with. It was exceptionally clean, suppling towels and bed linens that were comfy, even had a bathrobe (felt like we were in a high-end hotel in Boston). A great break from everyday life in the covid times. We look forward to our next visit.

This is a very charming and comfortable cottage with many particularly nice features. It is filled with light even on stormy days. There are multiple outdoor seating areas making it easy to find a spot in, or out of, the sun and out of the wind (important during our stay with a few very blustery days). The views of the bay and the marsh are spectacular. The beach is excellent for walking and bird watching with only rare human sightings. Two things we particularly appreciated were the excellent lighting, including good reading lamps, and the comfortable bed with its lovely marsh view. Greg and Jane have created a wonderful haven.

Wonderful time had by my wife and I for a relaxing Cape Cod beach vacation. We had plans to do a lot of exploring but ended up most times just staying at the property all day enjoying the private beach and walking along the marsh. Home is small but cozy and well appointed. Deck area is substantial with chairs in every perfect location. Outside shower is the best!

Greg and Jane were very professional and a pleasure to work with. Cant wait to come back!

We have been staying at the cottage annually for 19 years, and are never disappointed! Greg and Jane take great pride in their cottage being a pristine, welcoming, and idyllic destination. The location could not be more perfect, with a beautiful, quiet beach immediately off of the cottage deck, to the breathtaking views of the marsh on the opposite side. It's the perfect getaway destination!

This was by far one of the best vacations we have ever had. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, well appointed including flowers that were placed throughout the cottage, which was a really nice touch. Waking up to the incredible sunrises and ending the day with gorgeous sunsets was something to look forward to each day. Being so close to the water and beach was great, and the multiple decks that surround the cottage gave you different views of the bay and marsh which was also so nice. We enjoyed grilling and preparing fresh fish and lobster from the local fish market nearby. It was truly a perfect beach vacation and we look forward to staying at the cottage again! This cottage was everything we hoped for from the pictures and description! The views from every window and the wrap around deck along with private beach gave us a week of absolute relaxation. It was so nice to have the beach pretty much to ourselves. We vacationed in March so we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the evening. All the amenities you could ask for! A perfect place to kick back and enjoy a little slice of heaven! Thanks Greg and Jane! We look forward to coming back!

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and I haven't stopped raving about it to anyone who will listen since we first stepped in the door. I have a picture of the view from the living area on my desk, at work. The location, the serenity, the AMAZING home were even better than expected. While there, we took in all the sights (the cottage is the ideal distance for trips to Boston, Provincetown, Martha's Vineyard, etc). From bike rides to whale watching, football, hockey and baseball games, we did it all, and each time we walked out the door, I couldn't help feel a little sad that we were leaving such a lovely place!

The view from anywhere in the cottage is INCREDIBLE. We found it to be immaculately clean with high-quality linens and very comfy beds. The kitchen was well-equipped (though we did not do much cooking, local restaurants are GREAT) and the view from the kitchen made doing the dishes enjoyable! The beach was private with interesting shells and beautiful white sand. I say I saw a seal...my husband disagrees (I think I'm right though--lol)

The Cape was a bucket list vacation for me and staying here helped make the trip even better than I could have imagined. We will definitely be returning, but this time we will schedule more time in the cottage and maybe a little less sightseeing. What an AMAZING place! Thank you for the opportunity to stay there!!

No reason to look for any other place for our Cape vacation. This cottage has it all for a relaxing week or two if you're lucky!

We had a great week in Sandwich. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4. We enjoyed the beautiful wrap around deck and the quiet beach. We can't wait to return next summer. :)

My friends and I stayed in this beautiful beach house. It was perfect for the four of us. The house was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. We traveled from Ireland to Washington then on to Niagara Falls and down to Cape Cod. We really enjoyed our time at the house. We made great use of the BBQ and, as we had great weather while we were there, the beach was a great place to relax.

We would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in Cape Cod.

Dealing with Greg and Jane was so easy, and they were really nice and accommodating. Everything about the house and location was fantastic and hopefully we will get to return again soon.

We wanted to get away in a peaceful retreat with a direct view on the sea, and this cottage is exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful sunrises, long walks on a private beach and quiet evenings were our daily activities. Thank you to the owners for providing such a beautiful place. Definitely an address to go back to or to recommend.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this seaside gem. The house is direct waterfront as the photos show. It was great falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves. We didn't have great weather on our second day but we made the best of it. The cottage is also close to the Village area which includes cute shops and some good restaurants. We loved the kitchen and dining area. The house has everything you could possibly need.

There has been no need for us to look at other vacation rentals on the Cape. Year after year (just had our 11th summer vacation here) we just come back to Greg and Jane's cottage without a second thought. Each year we see updates and improvements that make our stay even better. The cottage, beach, and water were beautiful in 2017. Looking forward to 2018!

We stayed here in July and loved it! The house was the perfect size for my husband, myself and our two daughters. The views were just perfect, and we were lucky to have some incredible sunsets. The beach is rocky and the water was cold, but we managed to overlook that, considering we were right on a private beach. We really loved the outdoor shower and wrap around deck. The house had everything we needed, the town of Sandwich is very charming, we especially enjoyed the glass museum! Would go back for sure!

This is a beautiful location on the beach, with the feel of old Cape Cod. Many places to sit, relax and enjoy the beauty of the view. The cottage has all the creature comforts of home, with an amazing view from every room. Very nicely appointed, quality linens and kitchen ware.

We rented this beach cottage for the first time this year and we hope to rent it again in the near future. It was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The beach was right off the deck, and very private. The cottage was a great place to relax and enjoy the beach without fighting for a spot to put your beach chair. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and cannot wait to go back.

Coming from Wisconsin, we have rented this property every other summer for a week for many years. The views are spectacular with the wrap around deck, and we spend most time out on the deck. Fabulous private beach, indoors is so quaint, LOVE the way it's decorated and laid out. The outdoor shower is a favorite as well! My whole family LOVES this trip and this property....great proximity to the Sandwich Boardwalk, ice cream shops, pizza places, etc, and to other Cape towns. Highly recommended!

I have stayed in this property twice now, and I have never been disappointed! There are so many features about this property that make it appealing, including the many windows facing both the bay and the marsh, the comfortable linens, the location and the privacy. The owner also has included thoughtful amenities such as binoculars, a great coffee maker, fresh flowers, brochures, outdoor chairs and a beautiful landscape. I visit the Cape every spring and love to explore, but this house makes it hard to leave! Enjoy your stay here! You will NOT be disappointed!

I have been renting houses all over the Cape for over 40 years and this one is right at the top! Every picture you see here is just as it looks! You feel like you are in a movie set, not real life. The views are amazing and the wrap-around decks let you enjoy every aspect of the location. Yes, we had fabulous sunrises and sunsets, rainbows (4 in one day) and full "blood moon." The covered part of the deck allows you to be outside in almost all weather.

The interior is a beautiful as the photos - you feel like you are living in a spa environment. You can spend hours sitting a the dining room table,enjoying the comfortable cushions and the windows on three sides! Best of all, this is a quiet and beautiful beach, full of wonderfully colored stones, perfect for long walks or just sitting quietly. We enjoyed the boats entering the canal, seals swimming by the house and the birds in the marsh.

As a photographer, I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. The light is beautiful at all times of day, and you have no limit to the pictures you can take. Do not miss a chance to stay in this cottage. You will not regret it for a minute.

We stayed for a few days in September and it felt much longer. Away from the hustle and bustle, the days felt long and luxurious. The view is spectacular from the front windows - from a location perspective, it was excellent. We loved the outdoor shower.

We were a little bit disappointed with the cottage though; it didn't show quite as well as it does in the pictures. The best homeowner rentals keep the space cleansed of personal effects. There was a bit too much personal clutter in the bathroom and living areas to make us feel at home. The lower level did not show as presented in the photos, and was not really a usable space when we were there. The kitchen was well equipped. However, the dishes, pots and pans, etc,. were not spotlessly clean. The freezer door in the bar sized refrigerator was broken and the freezer compartment needed defrosting - so there was not much usable space there. Overall, with a bit of cleaning and maintenance, this place could be spectacular - just like the photos. However, it wasn't when we were there. Also note that there are cottages close on both sides.

The rental process with the homeowner was easy; there was a minimum of communication, and our security deposit was returned promptly.

We have been going to this cottage for several years now. It is absolutely one of the best locations in Cape Cod for a quiet and relaxing vacation. We enjoy the sounds of the ocean surf from the beautiful private beach on one side and the quiet of the marsh on the other. It's also a great spot if you have children (or not) with panoramic views from the beachside decks, so you can keep on eye on the kids and the cooler. The owners do their best to provide the ultimate experience. Can't wait to go back!

My family has been renting this property from the owner for the past 12 years, and it feels like home. We couldn't imagine missing out on spending a week at this perfect location. The condition and comfort of the cottage, coupled with the location - literally sitting on the sand dunes - is impossible to beat. The views from the cottage are amazing! You can't help but linger over meals at the large table with a 3-sided view of the beach! And there's nothing better than walking down the stairs from your deck and be standing on what feels like a very private beach. While we've always enjoyed our time there in the Summer, I can imagine that this location would be an amazing getaway anytime of the year!

Heaven on Earth for me in many ways! Greg and Jane are gracious and accommodating owners. Great place to do nothing or a starting point for fun sight seeing and shopping. Can't wait for my next visit!

This was my third year staying for a week in this immaculate, light-filled cottage right on Sandy Neck Beach. (Unfortunately, in another few years—given the level of punishment winter storms are dealing to the Cape—Sandy Neck Beach may be BEHIND the cottage.) Sally (my dog) and I enjoyed a peaceful and restorative stay. I cherish the winter solitude and beautiful light (of course, the light is always beautiful on the Cape), yet enjoy the accessibility of the year-round communities of Sandwich and Barnstable. The owners are wonderful people, and I always enjoy my interactions with them.

We spent one week in October here, and everything was wonderful. First, the house is just perfect. It is comfortable, the views are amazing from the dining room and bedroom. From the dining room you have a panoramic view of the ocean, and from the back you see the beautiful salt marshes. The place is immaculate, great bed, linens, comfortable furniture for afternoon naps, and everything you could possibly need/want in the kitchen. The outdoor shower is terrific, even in the cool fall air. Where else can you take a shower and see the ocean AND a full moon at the same time! We loved our stay. Sandwich is a terrific town, with excellent restaurants, boardwalk, etc., so the cottage is very well situated, and you can easily get to other places on the Cape from there. Thank you for this wonderful rental!

We have had the pleasure of spending a week in July at this fabulous property for the past three years. Our visits have always gone by too quickly as do all good things. The beach house is perfectly sized for a couple or family of four. Views on all sides are beyond description and the morning sunrises & evening sunsets make every day a joy. The property inside & out is well taken care of, this is not your typical beach cottage by any means. Spotless high end furnishings, appliances and everything you need including a premier stainless steel grill. Property is off the beaten path but easy to get to from Route 6A. The neighborhood along the beach is peaceful, very private and most of all serene in terms of noise. It is a terrific place to unwind & relax any time of year.

This is heaven on earth! The setting is magic - one side the open ocean with all its changes and the other a picture perfect marsh! No matter what window you are looking out - there is a spectacular view! The deck surrounding the entire house offers all views for those interested in lazing about in the sun or shade! The details in the cottage make this experience even better! A cozy cottage with every modern convenience and the decor - is simple but sophisticated - "upbeat cottage"! Thank you for all the touches inside and outside - I wanted for nothing and got more than I expected!

Greg and Jane, your place was wonderful. The views could not be beat. Even in the colder, cloudier weather than we were hoping for, the views made up for it. It was amazing to see how wild the bay could get and see an osprey out the front making a nest in the marsh. The place was clean and nicely appointed. We found all the things we needed to prepare our meals. Toby loved being so close to the beach and taking a walk every day. Really was a great vacation and get away!

We loved our stay at this perfect cottage by the sea! The location is fantastic and the views are stunning! Greg and Jane pay special attention to all the little details....fresh flower in the bedroom, fire laid in the fireplace, music playing upon arrival, plenty of candles...it really feels like home. We are planning to return next year and are hoping to stay a little longer. I must confess that I even shed a few tears upon departure (always a sign of a special trip).

I've stayed here, with my little and immaculate spaniel Sally, during the dead of winter for the past two years. The beauty and quiet of the setting-—the bay beach on one side, deep and broad salt marsh on the other—-was completely restorative for me. Roads are empty and rambling is beautiful and effortless. I've done a lot of photography during my stays. Greg and Jane are wonderful hosts. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next stay.
