I planned a very very last minute vacation for August 2021. I passed on this home several times because the pictures dated it, and because it was a 1 bath, but then decided to book because of it's location to the ocean, and the view of the ocean from the front patio.
I'm so glad I did!

This cottage surprised us in many ways. It really is a two minute walk to the beach. It did not have that musty old cottage smell that you can find in some of the older cottages on the Cape. House was very clean. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any rental I've ever rented. The central A/C can't be beat. Brand-new bedding and linens in each bedroom, and the bath. There is an enclosed outdoor shower. Family friendly neighborhood surrounds the property. Our family of five (2 parents 3 young adults) enjoyed having dinner on the back deck every evening then we would move to the front patio and watch the summer sunshine shift to evening darkness over the distant ocean views. Which can also be watched from the two adirondack chairs on the front lawn.

The owners were great to work with. We have already booked our return week for August 2022

One item to note, but is absolutely not a "con" the owners kindly provided four small beach chairs, but there were five of us so this summer we will be bringing our own. show more show less
