Newly remodeled classic Poppy cottage with central air located only 3/10 of a mile from the beautiful, private Popponesset Beach, 3/4 of a mile from the Popponesset Marketplace, and 1/2 mile from the Spit. This means you are walking distance to eateries, shopping, live music (Thursday to Sunday evenings in the summer), and mini golf, where kayak, paddle boards and bike rentals are also available. Or drive the 14 miles to Woods Hole Terminal and take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket for the day. It’s a short 4 miles from Mashpee Commons (restaurants, movies, more shopping…), 1.5 from Cape Cod Children's Museum, 8 miles from Falmouth, and 11 miles to Hyannis.

As you enter this charming cottage, you’ll find a comfortable living room with a 55” Roku TV open to a kitchen with large island (quartz countertops) and dining area. Vaulted ceilings, a sky light, many windows, and sliding glass door to the back deck flood the area with natural light all day long. Completing this main floor is a powder room and the primary suite (with a king-sized bed), containing a large closet and a nice size bathroom with a glass and tile shower with a rain shower head. A pocket door from the living area leads to stairs to the lower area where you’ll find a second living room that includes a wet bar and a second beverage fridge and a 75” Roku TV. There are two additional bedrooms (one with a queen-sized bed and the second with 2 sets of twin bunk beds, each containing egress windows) and a second 3/4 bathroom with a glass and tiled shower. The central vacuum and a full-size washer and dryer are also located on the lower level, in the utility room.

Back on the main floor, you’ll access the private fenced in yard with many options through a sliding glass door. Outdoor dining, lounge chairs, and sitting chairs can be arranged on the large deck, or on the patio next to the grill and outdoor Roku TV. On cool nights, you have the option to sit by the firepit to relax and warm up. The backyard also offers TWO outdoor showers, making it faster and easier to transition from a day on the beach to an evening of your preference.

For the beach: chairs, an umbrella, a cart, and beach toys are included. Available to you indoors are games, books, playing cards and Wi-Fi. Linens and bath towels (not beach towels) are included with other basics such as a hair dryer, paper products and cleaning supplies, small kitchen appliances, salt, pepper, condiments and more… When in doubt, just ask.
