Perfect vacation in Manomet

We were so fortunate to have found this property. It was located in an absolutely quiet wooded neighborhood, with views of the sea from two flours (a great seaside patio). The place was ideally located to the shore, to Plymouth to the North and the Cape to the South. It had all the comforts one would like to see, the rooms were large, the beds comfortably, and the landlady couldn't have been any more accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was the perfect hideaway/getaway for our family vacation. Located in the quiet village of Manomet, this fully stocked and beautiful home was more than we could have hoped for. It was the perfect location for all we wanted to do, whether it was driving off to CT to visit the Mystic Aquarium, or fishing and swimming at College Pond, walking Nantasket Beach, visiting family and friends, watching the Quincy Flag Day Parade, going on a Whale Watch or just relaxing and doing nothing at all, we were centrally located with easy access to the highway, stores, shops, grocery stores, sites and phenomenal dining.

Our 9 year old loved the beach, and his favorite thing to do was relax in the hammock in the beautiful, lush backyard and just listen to the waves crashing. It was truly a little slice of heaven.

Our Hostess Sandie was more than accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. We had some unconventional dates for our vacation, and the cancellation of our return flight home threw us a curveball, but with Sandie's help we were able to secure an additional night at her beautiful home. This truly was the perfect vacation in Manomet...for us it was a time to make new family memories in addition to taking a walk down memory lane. My husband and I rented this house for our first family vacation with our 9 month old daughter and it was perfect. The house is comfortable and well laid out, has a lovely back yard with gorgeous hydrangeas, and a great view of the ocean from the upper deck. The private association sandy beach is about a 2 minute walk from the house, with plenty of space for people to spread out. The hosts were also incredibly helpful and welcoming, providing great tips about the local area and quickly answering any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again! show more show less
