My family and I were in search of a place to vacation where we could social distance and experience the beach vacation feel we were used to and couldn't have come across a better place. The house has charm and plenty of space for a large crowd. My family enjoyed the spacious yard to play yard games and let the kids run around safely. The private beach is only steps away and the bluff is so amazing during both dawn and dusk. We especially loved going to the beach early in the morning and coming across hermit crabs and other sea-life in the sandbar. Our go to spot was the front porch where we spent lots of time enjoying our morning coffee or after dinner conversation. The walk for food, coffee, ice cream, etc is short and not over populated like many vacation towns. If you are looking for a great place to vacation but also the ability to social distance, then this is your spot. show more show less

Wonderful location
We spent our Labor Day weekend at this house with a friends - adults and teenage kids. The location is just wonderful - so close to the ocean - you can walk to watch the sunrise, or go for a walk along the shore at anytime you wish. We had some who liked early morning walks, others that liked an afternoon nap on the beach or an evening walk. Everyone was happy. The house itself is very spacious - plenty of room for everyone. Teenagers enjoyed the top floor where they could have their own space. The owner - Maggie - was very accommodating and communicative. We had everything we needed.

Beautiful surrounding area, that was a short distance to the beach. This old house had a great nostalgia feel and look. It is very spacious even for 15 adult people, and is perfect setting for a New England vacation. Maggie was a wonderful host and had a full supply of cookware and supplies to get you started on your vacation time. You are centrally located to where you can walk to small businesses in the area for any supplies. A great atmosphere to relax and play outdoor games and short distance to go to the beach and cool off.

Would highly recommend this place for family reunions and get togethers. The owner was great to work with! show more show less

Beautiful home, Beautiful beach

Don't cry because it's over ~ smile because it happened! Just spent the best week with my children and 8 grandchildren at your beautiful, cozy home. From our evenings on the porch to our days spent at the beach, I cannot describe how much fun we all had. And we were fortunate to view the full moon from the magnificent bluff!

Your home was well stocked and we had everything we needed for a stress-free week. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us ~ we will treasure the memories we made while vacationing there. And the neighbors were wonderful also!! Thank you again! show more show less

This house is magical!

If you watch HGTV and are looking for a house with open concept, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances, then this is not the house for you.

Instead what you will find is a older, clean, and well maintained, home with a lot of New England charm. There is plenty of space for group gatherings, including a large living room, two beautiful porches, two very well stocked kitchens and a nice dining room. Yet when you want privacy there is plenty of space to spread out. The outside grounds; with ample parking for all our vehicles, are meticulously landscaped, and the flower beds beds on the property are stunning.. Location, location, location. Views from the cliffs overlooking Cape Cod Bay are spectacular. The beach is very private and very clean. Daily walks through the neighborhood on roads with little traffic was fabulous. Sitting on the front porch reading, napping, and watching the world go by could not have been more relaxing. At the house you feel as if you are away from it all, but in fact it is only a short walk to the grocery store, several restaurants and, ice cream shops. Very convenient for day trips into Plymouth or a day on Cape Cod.

We loved our barbecues, our sing alongs, and dance parties. The house brings you to a time from the past. It was truly magical.

This is a wonderful, rambling old house that easily held 18 people. We played games in the yard and swam at the beach. When the sun set, we cooked in the two kitchens and had wonderful feasts on the porch. It is hard to describe how expansive the interior of the house is. We ranged in age from 9 to 82, and everyone had a comfortable bed, and anyone who wanted quiet could find a spot of their own. The house is fully equipped with everything you will need. We hope to come again and again.
