    Great spot!

My family of 10 stayed there and it was perfect for a large group. Close to fresh water beaches that are great for kids (warm water, sandy bottom and not too deep. Also close to salt water beaches. Lots to do in the basement on a rainy day for the kids.

    Hi Linda!
Thanks for the wonderful review! The lower level recreation room is always a big hit with both adults and children including our own family for off season gatherings. So glad you enjoyed your stay!

    Mayflower Point Gem

This is the 5th (maybe 6th?) time we have stayed at this beautiful Mayfllower Point property…the area is important to us for its quiet dirt lanes and proximity to lakes. It's also a quick drive to both ocean and bay beaches. The home fits our family group of 8 perfectly and the game room is such a bonus for the kids. The kitchen is beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need and the large deck is perfect for relaxing and dining. The cleanliness is top-notch … the beach chairs and beach towels are such a bonus. This is our family's "happy place" and we have already reserved for 2025. show more show less

    Great week!

We truly enjoyed our time at Mayflower Point. The house was exactly as pictured allowing the family to spread out and relax. There was adequate space for sleeping and like most homes, the kitchen was always filled with activity allowing for a great place to gather and then retreat to the backyard gazebo for meals. The location provided easy access to both freshwater and to Nauset Beach. Orleans Center was a easy bike ride away.

Ceil and Tom are wonderful hosts and a pleasure to work with. show more show less

    We Love This House

This was our third time staying in this wonderful house and it was perfect as always. The neighborhood is so nice for daily walks to the marina. Everyone you encounter is friendly and nice but yet the house is extremely private and quiet.

The kitchen is a dream for cooking at home. The layout of the home allows for both small and larger groups to enjoy. I'm always impressed with the thoughtful details provided by Tom and Ceil and hope to return for a 4th time in the near future.

Great location, family fun, privacy and safe.

Can't say enough about how great this location was for our family vacation (my wife and I and six teenagers). We really enjoyed the proximity to the beaches on the inside of the Cape, outside of the Cape and Ptown. The layout of the home allows plenty of space for 10 people and we really loved the game room in the basement. During the Covid crisis Ceil and Tom provided excellent direction on how they've created a clean/sterile environment creating a safe place to stay. If you enjoy cooking/grilling this place has everything you need to make whatever it is you want. Excellent privacy and low surrounding night lighting provides excellent star gazing or watching the satellites circle the sky. Great area, great location, one of my favorite places I've stayed down here in the last 20 years. show more show less

Beautiful stay -- Safe, clean, and sweet, indoors and out

We stayed at this beautiful home during the COVID pandemic, and the owners could not have been more responsive or competent regarding cleaning protocols. They went out of their way to stay in communication with us, and provided a spotless, safe space for our family to take a break from quarantine.

This is a warm and welcoming home with lovely bedrooms, a sweet living room, 3 bathrooms, and a generous outdoor space for screened-in dining, grilling, reading, and listening to birds sing. It's both completely private and in close proximity to pond and ocean beaches. We especially loved the outdoor shower, the extensive and creative game room where our kids played for hours at night, the well-stocked kitchen, and a book collection only a seasoned educator could provide. :)

Thank you for a joyful and restorative stay!

    Great place!

We had a wonderful time at this cozy and welcoming house last summer. Nine adults fit comfortably with plenty of room to relax and spread out. Great kitchen where a few people could prepare meals together. Great location with privacy but just minutes from town. Orleans is a great location for driving to great beaches! Ceil and Tom were great with communication both before and during our stay. My husband and I highly recommend!

    Another Wonderful Experience

The last time we stayed at Tom and Ceil's home was July of 2016. It was a wonderful place for two families to spend a memorable week together. The memories from that week are still talked about with our two families.

This April, we returned with friends and everyone had the best time and loved the house. There were 8 of us once again and it still felt like there was so much room. The way the home is set up is ideal for a group this size. As before, we planned to have our dinners in because the kitchen has absolutely everything you could need to make a wonderful homemade meal. The dining table is perfect for enjoying meals with friends and family and so much better then dining out in a noisy restaurant. Although we do have many favorite places to eat on the Cape, we saved those for lunch so that we could cook at the house.

Tom and Ceil have really thought of every detail to make their home your home. Every bedroom has very tiny details already thought out in advance. Every room has extra blankets, pillows, laundry basket, fan (even though the house has A/C) alarm clock, etc. I could go on and on but these are things that you don't really realize you want or need unless they are not there.

We never watched TV although there are several in the home. We enjoyed listening to music from the stereo and the entire lower level for games. We all brought our bikes and spent one day on the bike path, making a stop at Coast Guard Beach and Hole-In-One Donut Shop.

Although it wasn't swimming weather this time, we enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood each morning, biking and being in short proximity to everything. We did a day trip to P-Town which is always a must.

I love the Cape during all the seasons for different reasons but this visit in April will be another great memory and we thank Tom and Ceil for that.

    A Bit of Paradise

We are still talking about how wonderful our Orleans vacation was. We so enjoyed our stay at the Hogan's little bit of paradise. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone enjoyed the proximity to the lake, Skaket and Nauset. The basement, with so many activities for all, was a real treasure. We plan to return and hopefully stay at this wonderful home again.

Beautiful Home - Wonderful Location - Perfect in Every Way

We have been long time Cape renters, and we all agree that this house was one of the best. Working with Tom and Ceil was a true pleasure, and they were always available for any questions prior to us arriving.

Our stay combined two families, and this house was just perfect. There were 8 of us in the home and it still had ample room. There were times when I was upstairs reading and the rest of us (7) were downstairs, and I could not hear a thing. The lower level is a paradise for all. The two younger children loved all the games, the teenagers loved the ping pong and pool tables, and we even completed a very large puzzle down there. The house was very clean upon our arrival and the attention to detail was obvious. Everything from the furniture, the decor, the bedding and the kitchen was well thought out. My sister-in-law and I decided there was not one kitchen gadget that we could not find. It is fully stocked for cooking at home with all that you will need for any meal. This is clearly the benefit of renting from someone who actually uses the home themselves........every need has already been met.

We loved the deck and screen porch for cooking on the grill at night and coffee in the morning. The house is very private and sitting outside is a true pleasure. The song birds are plentiful and that is all you hear. This made for a truly relaxing experience. The nice outdoor shower was an added bonus since we went to beach every day.

We went to Nauset Beach, Nauset Light Beach, Coast Guard Beach and Race Point Beach, but our favorite turned out to be Crystal Lake which is very close to the house. This lake is warm, crystal clear (hence the name) and perfect for families with kids of all ages. We went to Crystal Lake every day and that was an added bonus of renting this home.

Our time at Tom and Ceil's home will be an experience that we will always look back on with fond and happy memories. Of course we did not want to leave, but we plan to be back. Thank you to Tom and Ceil for opening up your home to us and allowing us to have such a special vacation.
