Secluded Waterfront home on Little Pleasant Bay

What a special place! My family rented this house for two weeks at the end of the summer 2013 and had a wonderful time. The short walk to the little beach brought hours of fun for the younger children catching crabs and minnows. We brought kayaks and traveled all around Little Pleasant Bay. The house itself is a cozy and comfortable. The only drawback for us was that my 93 year old mother was the actual renter and it was not that accessible for her. We had a wonderful time at this house. The location was just fabulous and we had lots of great outdoor fun. We kayaked from the house, rode bikes on the rail trail and played golf.

We rented this lovely house for the entire winter 2008-9. It offers quiet and solitude in a spacious, yet cozy historic Cape home, situated in the midst of an extraordinary natural setting, with acres of forested land, on a bluff surrounded on three sides by the waters of Little Pleasant Bay. The views and the flavor of the Cape’s traditional connection to the sea are a source of wonder, delight, inspiration and fulfillment every day. Access to its private Bay beach is integral to the package and small boat/trailer access is, too. Nauset Beach (Atlantic Ocean) on the National Seashore is just a short drive away. Despite the comparatively remote setting, neighbors, well hidden from view, are nearby as are shopping, post office, and fine as well as more modest dining. The wonderful shops and fantastic public library of Orleans town center are just minutes’ driving from the house. show more show less
