Ellerslie Cottage/Walk to Private Association Beach

My husband and I rented this cute place while I took a training at the Cape Cod Institute. We were so pleased with how accessible, clean, and adorable it was! The owners were very responsive and made us feel at home right away! The neighborhood is cute and I felt very safe doing my morning runs. Everyone is so nice and accommodating! It was a beautiful area and the cottage had everything we needed. We will be coming back next year if our schedule allows!

We had been prepped beforehand via email. All arrangements were made. The salt box was excellent for our stay and as well the location. Very safe and secure. The air conditioning was relaxing as the humidity and temperature's that week were high. The kitchen with the use of the clothes washer and dryer were extremely satisfying for our 15 year's old niece who happened to be from Ketchikan, Alaska. Her 1st time. Also, as well our 15 year's old dog tootsie had a great experience as well. We visited different beaches about 5 times during the week. We all enjoyed the ease of getting to places like Chathams concert band in the evening. We captured many pictures and of whales on the tour in Provincetown getting the naturalist's view about their scientific studies of them. We worked on getting our tans down and spent a few times swimming in the ocean. Dining out was great and ordering take out from the Chinese restaurant was easy and only a couple miles away. But we ordered seafood most of the time. Lobster rolls were a treat. We saw a Broadway musical show of the 80's just up the street and spent our last day at the beach to say goodbye. We got to know the geography really well but picked up reluctantly to head back to Albany. We liked the detailed signs of the roads that were "thickly settled". I could spend some time at practicing my horn and guitar while the girls went out for shopping. The complementary coffee's arrangement was very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast roast. Absolute gem. The house is immaculate, well stocked, and in a great location in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Seamless check in and check out. Thank you for a terrific week for a family vacation.

The apartment in Orleans is perfect for 4 adults. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, good mattresses, short walk to a pretty ocean view and convenient to downtown Orleans and Skaket Beach. Peaceful spot. Lots of birds. We will go back.

'The cottage was perfect! Absolutely everything you could of needed was provided. Cottage was immaculately clean, quiet location, 2 min drive to the private beach. Loved the choice of either sitting on the beach or a dock that gently swayed with the bay's gentle waters surrounding it. The members of the association were so nice and got to meet a few of them. Made me feel very welcome. Would highly recommend this cottage. Perfect size. Loved the small deck out back to sit and relax in the morning or in the evening. Again, the cottage had more then enough supplies, (dishes, linens, beach chairs, dish soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc.) Thank you for a wonderful stay.' show more show less
