We had another great stay at the Salty Sweet Cottage. Beautifully decorated with antiques and comfy sofas. The owners are wonderful and quick to respond to any questions you may have. A wonderful location in Orleans and centrally located. Right on the rail trail and close to shopping and the beaches, Nauset being our favorite! Thank you Bill and Debbie for hosting our family. We had a lovely week!

First of all, walking into the house to an array of welcome gifts was so thoughtful! I won't say what they were so I don't ruin anyone else's suprise but they were definitely perfect for our family.
We loved the comfy couches and pretty decor and furnishings all around the house. The kids loved the yard and they had so many outdoor toys and beach equipment available that we really didn't have to bring anything. Bill was so quick to answer any and all of my questions before and during the rental which was so helpful. We highly recommend staying here and loved that we could bring our pup to such a nice house with us.

Yard area was awesome to play games, a swing was an extra bonus. Location was absolutely perfect. Great isolated location, our Pup did not want to leave. Enjoyed cooking on the grill and eating outside. The beds were comfortable, and the porch was a great way to sit and relax. Thank you, Bill and Debbie, for letting us share your home.

Debbie and Bill's cottage is an absolute gem! The location is perfect for enjoying the Orleans area of the Cape (ideal for families), including easy access to the rail trail and a quick bike ride to Skaket Beach. The renovation of this home is beyond impressive and Debbie's decor makes it feel warm, cozy and luxurious. There was ample room for our family of three generations, including a sweet little room for our grandson. We highly recommend Sweet Salty Cottage and will be looking forward to our return.

We spent two weeks at this beautiful home in Orleans. No detail has been overlooked - there were so many charming details: a drawer full of cute table linens, beautiful light fixtures, high quality dishes and silverware, etc. The hosts were extremely responsive via text to all communications and we could tell they really care about their home. They even left a lovely gift bag with a handwritten welcome card. I highly recommend this rental!

Our family called The Salty Sweet Cottage home for a week as part of my wife's birthday celebrations. Having stayed in numerous rentals across Cape Cod over the years, I can easily say this property outshines all others. Very rarely do you find a premier location (property set quite literally on the bike path, minutes from Skaket Beach and restaurants/shops) paired with an equally perfect house. The SSC delivers both! This inviting property was charmingly decorated and expertly stocked with everything our young family could need. There were enough bedrooms/living spaces to comfortably accommodate the 3 of us (including a 14-month-old) and visiting friends. Cozy enough that you always felt connected, but separate enough to allow for quiet time or remote work if desired. We enjoyed hours in the yard playing games (cornhole, ladder ball etc. provided by the hosts), walks along the beautiful bike path, and grilling food on the furnished patio. Good times are guaranteed whether you are in the mood to adventure out for the day, or rest/relax at home. Anyone that has tried to appease the desires of multiple people with various agendas on vacation, you can appreciate this! There is something for EVERYONE! Debbie and Bill are fantastic hosts with seemingly no detail of your stay overlooked. Their reliability and open communication throughout our stay was as refreshing as the outdoor shower (my personal favorite). We simply cannot recommend this listing enough! Looking forward to returning again next year.

We had the most wonderful time at the Salty Sweet Cottage. The hosts thought of everything a guest would need. The garden is very well kept and the home itself belongs in a magazine. We were so comfortable and plan on coming back. Bill and his wife communicated with us at the drop of a pin to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

We stayed at the Salty Sweet Cottage for a long weekend in Oct. The house is exactly how it is described. Every inch of the house is filled with lovely antiques, comfy furniture and a kitchen that has everything you need to prepare meals and snacks. The house is perfectly located on the rail trail so you can hop right on for a morning run , evening walk or long bike rides. We will back in the summer for a week and are so looking forward to more time there in our favorite CC town. The owners were available at a moments notice with any of our questions. We have been traveling to CC on vacation for over 30 years and this house is one of the best we have rented.

Our family has been vacationing on the cape the past 26 years; staying between Orleans, Eastham and Brewster during those years. The Salty Sweet Cottage, by far, has been the best place we've stayed to date; everything we wanted or needed was available within the home and within a walking distance. Bill and Debbie were extremely helpful and gracious hosts. We were very appreciative that they were pet-friendly, and went out of the way to make sure even our dogs were accommodated by having a dog bed, food & water bowls, which we never experienced before. The house was truly a beautiful home. We would highly recommend the Salty Sweet Cottage for your next vacation.

Bill and Debbie were the consummate hosts, extremely responsive during the booking process and before, during, and after our stay. Their home is gorgeous, immaculately clean, and extremely well stocked. Our family of four (kids ages 12 and 14) lacked for nothing during our week in Orleans. The house has plenty of space to spread out and very comfortable beds. We loved the outdoor shower, eating on the patio, cooking in the beautiful kitchen, and walking to town and Skaket Beach. The house is right next to the rail trail for easy bike riding and walking, just a couple minutes away by car to a Shaw's and a number of restaurants, plus quick access by car to Nauset Beach. Tip: Young's Fish Market at nearby Rock Harbor has amazing lobster rolls (take out) for only $18 and they come with an outstanding view - great spot to watch the sunset. Orleans is a super location for heading out toward the National Seashore, Wellfleet, and Provincetown, as well as in the other direction to Chatham, Brewster, and points west on the Cape. We highly recommend a stay at the Salty Sweet Cottage.

We had an amazing week in this beautiful home. Location is amazing. Walk to town and right on bike trail. Very comfortable and well stocked. It really was our home away from home for the week.

The Salty Sweet Cottage was a wonderful cottage for our family vacation. The property owners were great to work with. The home was lovely and in a great location to access the bike trail and cute shops in Orleans.

Our week at the cottage was incredible! The home and property is remarkably charming, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully curated. It's hard to believe but we found it to be even better than the pictures! It is exceptionally well-appointed, we were blown away at all of the considerations made by the owners in their listing of the home - it has everything needed for a Cape vacation!
The location is perfect, central to everything. We were able to cook and grill at the house with ease and enjoy valuable time together as a family. Bill and Debbie are the kindest and most gracious hosts, and made themselves available when needed. They have truly thought of everything to help make the stay special. We look forward to visiting again!

The cottage looks exactly like the photos, maybe even better! It is stunning, with so many beautiful details and thoughtful touches! Everything we needed was there, and more! Lawn games and beach chairs, comfortable beds, fluffy duvets, a beautiful patio, etc! This may be the hidden gem of Orleans—right on the bike path, four bedrooms, two living rooms…can you tell we loved it?! We will be back!
