From the countertop stove top to the in-wall oven, cooking dinner for the family will be a breeze. Too hot to cook in the kitchen? Take dinner outside onto the raised deck where you can grill up some local seafood favorites on the gas grill & enjoy the feast around the outdoor (or indoor) dining table with seating for 6. Winding down after a long day on the beach is effortless in the open living room/dining room space.     Property was listed as a "new listing" so unfortunately there were no prior reviews for us to read so we rented simply based upon the beautiful pictures posted of this rental. Our family arrived to a dirty home with stained bedding, mold in the fridge, clogged shower drains, and an insect infestation in the ground floor to name just a few concerns. The front door handle came apart during the first day and we were unable to secure the house. Concerns around health and safety were minimized by the rental company. Members of our family obtained a last-minute rental elsewhere due to health concerns with young children in a dirty environment. As a renter for 20+ years at the Cape, this was a first of kind experience. We have rented older homes without any issues, however this home lacks the bare basics. Time and money are precious in this economy, I would not recommend to any family seeking a comfortable and clean vacation home. show more show less

    We were disheartened to read your review and have already addressed your concerns directly nearly 7 months ago. Providing our guests with an exceptional experience is our top priority, and we regret that we fell short of your expectations.

    Cleanliness Concerns:
    Cleanliness is incredibly important to us. Upon receiving your feedback of an infestation, we found one daddy long leg spider which is normal on the Cape in the summer months. We immediately sent cleaners to the property to address your concerns. We're sorry that this did not resolve your dissatisfaction, despite our efforts to ensure everything met your standards.

    Responsiveness:
    Our team prides itself on being prompt and attentive. We had a team member at your property as soon as possible once we received your call, which took place after 6pm on Saturday, bearing a gift as a gesture of goodwill. They spent many hours with you at the property. They brought additional keys per your request as a courtesy, used Draino to resolve a slow shower drain, and offered to clean the windows, which you declined as well as declining us to inspect the "moldy" air conditioning.

    Maintenance Issues:
    While some maintenance concerns can arise with older homes, we strive to address them swiftly. This is an older home with many repeat guests coming back each year. We take all reports seriously and work to minimize their impact on our guests' experience. Additionally, a handyman arrived within two hours to address the door handle issue, completing the repair the same day.

    Health Concerns:
    We treat health-related concerns with the utmost seriousness. If you have specific details, we would appreciate the opportunity to address them directly and provide further assistance.

    We take great pride in maintaining our properties and delivering excellent service, and we're disappointed your experience did not reflect the high standards we aim for. Feedback like yours is invaluable as it helps us improve, and we welcome the chance to discuss this further if you wish.
