This beautiful Cape home awaits you and your family and friends. Four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, an outdoor shower, a large deck with a gas grill, and a one acre yard make this home, called Dove Cottage, a vacation paradise.

The wonderful open concept ground floor provides delightful spaces indoors and outdoors for entertaining. A favorite of ours and our guests is the large – almost 800 sq foot -- deck along the back of the house. It is surrounded by landscaping for privacy and easy access thru sliding doors . The outdoor shower is off the deck. The back yard offers lots of play space.

The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need. For coffee drinkers, there is both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig machine. A Weber, three-burner gas grill on the deck is perfect for outdoor cookouts. For cooks you will find herbs growing in the garden for your picking. Since 2016, we have purchased all new appliances in the kitchen, and new washer and dryer downstairs.

This 2200 square foot home sleeps eight! There are two ground floor bedrooms: one with a queen size bed and one with two twins. There is a hall bathroom near these bedrooms. Two second floor bedrooms: one (master) with a king size bed and en suite bathroom, and one with two twins and its own hallway bathroom.

There is air conditioning throughout the house - we added a ductless air conditioner that cools the living, dining and kitchen area, family/tv room and the master bedroom. Each of the other bedrooms have window air conditioning.

An easy walk to Nauset Beach on the Atlantic Ocean, just one mile away. Or a short drive to Skaket Beach or Rock Harbor on the Cape Cod Bay side. In the garage, you'll find beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. Enjoy peaceful walks along Cedar Land and Samoset, and enjoy views of the Atlantic along the way!

Renters supply their own linens and towels; we supply pillows and blankets. If you don't want to bring your own, there are services in the area that can supply them for you. read more show less

    Beautiful Nauset Rental

    My family, consisting of myself, my husband, and 2 grown children, all gave this beach house stay 2 thumbs up each! We loved the roomy open concept with space to gather and space to retreat, and having 3 full baths and an outdoor shower was perfect for us! The kitchen was well appointed and there were plenty of beach chairs and other beach equipment. We brought 2 scooters, but having bikes available as well made local exploring fun and car-free. Everything was clean and the back yard was private and lovely. We visit every year and all are hoping to return to this beautiful vacation home! show more show less

    Fabulous Property

    We have rented from Sally the last 2 years and are coming back this summer for our 3rd time. The house is a wonderful home away from home and the location is fantastic. Nauset beach is a 10 minute bike ride (the house offers bicycles) or a few quick minutes by car. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We spend much time in the evenings at the kitchen table for meals, games and chatter or using the grill and eating on the deck. The family room is an excellent place to while away a rainy day. There is plenty of space to park a few cars and the grounds are neat and well kept with flowers blooming. We very much enjoy our annual 2 week visits to Cape Cod and Sally makes it easy. She is always available if any questions arise and she is very organized and helpful. We had bad landlord experiences in the past but Sally has exceed expectations and clearly cares for her home and enjoys sharing it with others so we can also enjoy her little patch of heaven. You will have a great time making your own memories in this Cape Cod cottage! show more show less

    Excellent Summer Rental

    Very clean home. Great location conveniently located to Skaket Beach (perfect for kiddos) and Nauset Beach (a must see). This rental will check all your boxes for comfort, amenities and enjoyable outdoor space. Spacious and safe backyard for children. Quiet neighborhood. Homeowner takes pride in this property and is very courteous and hospitable. We will definitely be back.
