Enjoy your summer vacation on Cape Cod at our well-appointed, nautical-themed home located on a quiet cul de sac in South Orleans.

The open concept living space on the main level offers a dining area (seats 8 to 10), a modern kitchen with island seating for 6 and living room with TV and 2 comfortable sofas. The first floor also includes a half bath and laundry off the kitchen. The master (queen bed) suite is also located on the main floor with a bathroom including a separate shower and a jacuzzi tub.

The kitchen is bright and modern, with all of the amenities you will need, including a blender, crock pot, griddle, and spices. A new induction range was installed, making cooking faster than ever!

Ideal for outdoor entertaining, and a favorite of ours and our guests, is the screened-in porch, accessed through French doors off the kitchen. The porch boarders wooded conservation land providing a private, quiet, and relaxing space and includes a dining table and 6 chairs, and comfortable lounge seating. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower, a gas grill, and an extended two-car garage with a full-sized second refrigerator.

The second floor features two guest bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds), plus a full bath. The forth bedroom (located above the garage and utilizing a separate set of stairs) has four twin beds where kids and teens can entertain themselves with a large TV, games, puzzles, and sitting area. The layout of the home makes it perfect for two families to share.

We are 3 miles to Orleans center with easy access to surrounding towns. It is five miles to Nauset beach and 4 miles to Skaket beach which is ideal for younger children. There are numerous boat landings throughout the town the nearest is at the end of Quanset Road where you can launch your boat, kayaks and paddle boards onto Pleasant Bay. Also located 1/2 mile from the house is Pleasant Bay with beaches for swimming. We provide the beach chairs, beach toys, coolers and a portable beach grill.

Other amenities include high-speed internet access and cable television (four flat screened TV’s) and each bedroom has a window air conditioner. Additionally, there is keyless entry through the farmers porch.

    Orleans Vacation Home

    This Orleans home fit our family of 10 perfectly. The home is centrally located,close to beaches and attractions. The back sunroom was our favorite place to relax. The homeowner, Sarah, was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions we had. I highly recommend this home for a perfect Cape vacation!

    Lovely stay

    My family (husband, two kids (3 and 7), nanny, and grandparents) spent 4th of July week at this lovely home. It was our first time staying there and the owner's daughter, Sarah, was great to deal with. We really liked the layout with the first floor master, screened in porch off the kitchen, and first floor laundry. The kids loved having their own hideaway room above the garage, which was well stocked with games and books. The kitchen was also well stocked with all the tools we needed, and bikes were also available. My favorite parts of the house were the screened porch and beautiful gardens. Even on a rainy day you could still sit outside and enjoy. We visit Orleans every year and usually stay closer to Skaket Beach but the quality of this house made the bit longer drive well worth it. show more show less

    Hello! My father grew up in East Orleans and as soon as he retired from corporate America, mom and dad returned to Orleans, meticulously building this home for their and visitors pleasure. The best parts about this house are the easy commute to the ocean and bay, the quiet cul-d-sac, and the great space to entertain. Whether you set up the corn hole, enjoy a movie in the 'bunk room', or just relax on the porch, you'll enjoy this home-away-from-home. My parents still live in this house, but spend the summer living with us and helping with our children (who are the lucky ones?).

    What is special about this property?
    The open concept makes it easy and fun to entertain a large group. The seats at the island allow guests to socialize with the hosts while enjoying great food. The attached screened-in-porch is close enough to participate in the conversation and the 'bunk room' being on the opposite side of the house allows others to relax or watch a movie.

    What is special about your town?
    We love the summer charm of Orleans. Whether you attend a Cape Cod League Baseball game (3 minutes away) - Go Firebirds! or enjoy an ice cream or rent a bike to ride the trail up or down the cape, there's plenty to do here. We will share an extensive list of our favorites in Orleans and close by.
