This four bedroom contemporary home has three levels of incredible views. The private beach faces east with views of Hog and Sampson's Islands across Little Pleasant Bay, then the outer beach (Nauset) and the Atlantic Ocean beyond! If the wind is easterly, you can hear the crashing surf of the Atlantic.

Two bedrooms on the ground floor have sliders out to a large yard or screened porch. One has a queen bed, the other has two twins and both have full private bathrooms. The master bedroom on the top floor has a small deck with amazing views across the bay and islands, to the outer beach. The fourth bedroom is small, on the top floor; good for a child. There is the ''crow's nest'' accessed by a ladder that allow for more terrific water views. A great spot for morning coffee, or a glass of wine or a neat play ''tower'' for the kids.

    A Piece of Heaven between Chatham and Orleans

    Our multi generation family has enjoyed the privilege of staying at this beautiful home.
    Bill and Kate's ( the home owners) dad, an architect, built this amazing family home. It provides all of us with abundant space , beautiful views , in a well equipped home. Everything is supplied and all we need to do is enjoy. The large kitchen table allows all of us to gather comfortably for family dinners. The bedrooms are separated and provide comfort and privacy.
    The outside deck with a gas grill and lots of seating gives us the opportunity to barbecue and enjoy the surrounding beauty, The trees and grassy area provide shade while just steps from the beach. The location provides the luxury of privacy and space. An amazing property! show more show less

    Perfect place for our family

    This house is the perfect vacation place for our family. Plenty of space inside and plenty to do outside. Our kids could spend all day exploring the shore. Crabs, horseshoe crabs, fish, clams, all kinds of interesting things.

    Wonderful house, perfect location

    When the COVID pandemic hit and we knew our family wasn't going back to school or work in person, we looked for an escape from the city that had land, interior space, and a nice view. This house checked all three boxes, and it's the best decision we ever made. We loved everything about this house, including the wonderful view and short walk to the beautiful, quiet beach. Bill and Kate are great landlords, and took extremely good care of us. Highly recommend for a family vacation, any time of year! show more show less

    In the early forties, our grandparents purchased about five acres on Little Pleasant Bay. ''It was the only spot on the Bay where the property rolled gently down to the water'' unlike sharp bluffs observed Bussie from a sail boat. Our parents retired to the house an were blessed with its location, character and ''feel'' for over 20 years.

    What is special about this property?
    The house is at the end of a one-lane private road, on Little Pleasant Bay. The private beach is often pure soft sand, from which one can catch stripers, bluefish, clams, and crabs. Ospreys soar over head, and seals hang out on ''the rock''. (you can also rent kayaks, paddle boards, and more for delivery to the property)
    The view from the house, (and of course boat house on the beach) looks east across the Bay, over Hog and Sampson Islands, to the outer beach (Nauset, from Orleans to Chatham). With the right wind, you can hear the pounding surf, and sometimes see the wave spray on the barrier beach.

    What is special about your town?
    Orleans is a great New England village with shops, restaurants, and more. Its not quite as ''fancy'' as Chatham, but offers plenty to do, has several small and large markets, and lots of activities. There are some fantastic dining choices from really high end (and delicious) establishments, to casual, simple (and delicious) more relaxed spots.
