We rented this lovely home for a month for a partial solo getaway and some quality family time with our 2 kids. Beautiful property and a great deck to relax after spending a day at the beach. The owner is great and very easy to do business with. Would definitely stay here again and can recommend for couples and families with kids.

My family of 5 stayed at Mimi's Cottage for 3 weeks in June/July 2020 and we were very happy. First and foremost, the owner John was incredibly easy to work with and he went above and beyond to accommodate us, letting us park our boat trailer there prior to our stay as well as letting us keep it there for a week after. The house was clean and the central air was great. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of kitchen supplies making it very easy to feel at home. The location is amazing. Orleans is a beautiful town with so much to offer. My kids really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night with their cousins chatting the night away.

It was the perfect location for our family as my in-laws and our cousins were less than a 10 minute walk away. Having our own space was exactly what we needed with Covid going on. We had never rented for a long stay like this before so this was a great first experience.

We cannot thank John enough. Thank you for sharing your home with us! It was a memorable vacation that we will never forget! We will certainly be contacting John again should we decide to rent again.

I live in Orleans, but my place is too small (and has too many stairs) for my Mom to stay. Mimi’s House was perfect as it has hand rails, one floor living and is in a great neighborhood! Mom was there for 3 weeks. Aside from being accessible it’s oozing with Cape Cod charm! There are many amenities; washer and dryer, central air, cable, WiFi , deck with fire pit and the cottage is very clean...truly all the comforts of home. The owner, John, is very pleasant and readily available if one needs to contact him. show more show less

I booked this house last minute for my two young daughters and to stay for 5 days over the 4th of July. I was extremely weary as I had never used a rental site before nor stayed anywhere besides a hotel while vacationing. John, the owner of the home, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a minor issue with the hot water/furnace and I called him the morning of July 4th. Not only did he answer my call first thing in the morning but he had a company out to the house within hours and the furnace was fixed and working perfectly.

The house was clean, kid friendly, and you could not ask for a better location! It is on a private gravel road off the main road, very quiet and inviting. There was a hammock and swing in the backyard that my kids enjoyed daily, and a fire pit on the porch that we had access to. Not only is this home in a perfect location in Orleans but it is very close to awesome beaches, the bike trail and fabulous restaurants! show more show less
