    Hi,

Thank you for your review. We are considering offering linens next season and I appreciate your comments on the walkway. We'll see how we can add better lighting for the walkway.

    Beautiful Cottage, Great Memories

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Cape. The cottage is immaculate and has everything you will need for a relaxing and memorable vacation. It is close to Nauset Beach, although I would not walk there carrying all the things we need: umbrella, chairs, ice box, etc. The location is near restaurants, galleries, ice cream shops, and many Cape attractions. We enjoyed the sunset concert at Nauset Beach and Rock Harbor and a daily excusion to nearby Chatham. The drive-in movie theatre and flea market in Wellfleet is a must as well as visits to First Encounter Beach in Easham, a trip out to Provincetown, and hikes along the National Seashore. Looking forward to our next visit! show more show less

    4th year was amazing again!

The location of this property is an easy walk to the beach! We rent both units with another family, so there's room for guests to come and go all week as well. These units are large, clean and the location couldn't be better.

    Perfect for 2!!!

A wonderful place for 2! Great location - seconds from Nauset Beach and minutes from great restaurants (The Rail) and shops (ADORN). Easy access to downtown and Skaket Beach. The apartment was very comfortable and quiet - parking was easy. Landlord is great to work with. I've spent 62 summers in Orleans - such a great place...easy access to everywhere!!!

    cozy and convenient getaway

We loved our stay here. The location is very convenient: close to the beach, restaurants and shops, and just a stones throw off the highway. The neighborhood is quiet and the cottage is exactly as pictured on the website. We had a wonderful time, our first on Cape Cod, and we would happily stay here again.

    Great cottage and location!

This is our second year renting both this cottage and the house attached. Love both spaces, clean, so close to the beach, great back yard. Perfect for 2-4 people. Love sitting on the front porch and reading.

Touch of Rustic and Nautical = Homey!

This was the first time my husband and I rented a cottage and we were not disappointed. My husband walk to and from the beach every morning, afternoon and evening. The ocean and sand is his mecca. The apartment was move-in-ready and cozy comfy. The kitchen was adequate; thus, we didn't eat out everyday. Grocery/Butcher store and some restaurants were a short ride down the road. The neighborhood is basically quiet. As always we took day trips to our old haunts and enjoyed other parts of the Cape too. For myself, just being able to relax with a good book and occasionally going to a few artisan stores was my pause to refresh.

We plan on renting this cottage again in 2022. A home away from home.

    Fabulous getaway

This cottage is wonderful and has the essence of Cape Cod throughout. Very comfortable and clean! Location is amazing. We usually stay on outer Cape but this location has really changed our thoughts on that. Truly a few minutes walk to Nauset Beach. Outdoor shower was wonderful and back yard lovely for "dining out". Great local stores nearby too and so centrally located to get any where you want to visit. We enjoyed every minute of it! Thanks to the Beach Road Team!

Our family has been coming to Cape Cod since the 1940s and has always owned property either in Wellfleet or Orleans. As children, we moved often to support our father's career. However, the one constant was our vacations at The Cape with our grandparents. The beach was our second home and plump clams were our diet for a precious few weeks every summer. Our parents bought this particular property in the 1980s from the original owner. The property was passed onto us in 2015. We remain committed to Cape Cod as a vacation destination and community, so that other families may take home cherished memories as well.

What is special about this property?
This Cape Cod style home was built by the original owner, who was a retired shop teacher. Cabinets in the kitchen are hand planed and custom built. He also built the two arm chairs and the storage bench in the living room. His touch is every where. While we have been working on keeping the home updated, we have been balancing that with the original look and feel of the original cottage. Filled with natural light and ocean breezes, this space is perfect for a small family or a couple on a getaway.

What is special about your town?
East Orleans and Orleans both have numerous attractions from shopping to theater. Guests have several outstanding restaurants to choose from, but also have the option of eating in by shopping at major chain grocery stores as well as natural food stores. Art galleries and antique shops abound. There are museums and nature walks close by and don't miss the drive in theater on Route 6, just a short drive away. Multiple beaches are in walking, bike riding or short driving distance. Orleans is centrally located on the Cape. Provincetown is a XYZ drive as is Hyannis and points South. Families can decide how busy they would like to be.
