During this time of uncertainty with COVID 19, I would like to share our cleaning protocols. See at end of description...

THE ONION BARN: This property is the original barn in ''Pochet,'' one of Orleans' most desirable areas. The Onion Barn is filled with charm unlike any other. It was renovated in 2003 to maintain its original New England appeal while allowing for all new amenities.

Walk 4/10 of a mile to Pochet's private section of Nauset Beach without the traffic or crowds, or lounge on the deck overlooking a beautifully landscaped back yard. The sweet village of East Orleans is a short distance. East Orleans has fun shopping, an ice cream shoppe, a market with the best selection of meats, seafood, prepared foods, wine and a separate deli for yummy sandwiches for the beach.

The Onion Barn has several separate areas for comfort but allows for close proximity to all family. The original section of the barn has:

1st floor -A large great room with beautiful fireplace, kitchen, dining area and separate seating area for additional privacy
2nd floor- 2 bedrooms (one with a queen bed; one with 2 sets of bunk beds; full bath; separate open seating area (great for children)
3rd floor- Master bedroom, changing room, washer/dryer and full bath

Newer addition:
1st floor- Separate in-law suite - Master bedroom, full bath, washer/dryer, galley entertainment bar, powder room and separate living area w/ 55'' tv.

Main kitchen is fully and beautifully appointed

Entertainment Bar- Refrigerator -Wine cooler and Dishwasher w/ pass through for ease of separate entertaining

Two sets of washer/dryers -
(Large set on 1st floor) (Small set on 3rd floor)


Great outdoor shower for bathing under the sun, the moon, or the stars....

Cleaning Products and Protocol

-Windex Disinfectant Multi Cleaner – Yellow in color and removes 99.9 % germs, viruses and bacteria on hard surfaces
All areas are cleaned with specific focus on all high traffic areas such as light switches/handles and knobs/tv remotes/grills/outdoor furniture/grills/outdoor furniture/hammock

-Lysol disinfectant - kills 99.9% of Viruses and Bacteria Sanitizes even on Soft Surfaces.
Mist Sprayed on couches, mattress pads and pillows.
Wood will be misted with disinfectant and then cleaned with Old English wood cleanser

New for 2020 and beyond

Pillow case covers will be changed for each turnover

Decorative pillows and books will be removed.

Game closet will have all games and puzzles removed.

AS ALWAYS
Toilet Paper, Paper towels, trash bags, soaps, laundry and d/w detergent, cleansers, etc. are available.
Take note-
Only pump soaps will be made available for shower, bathroom and kitchen use.
All cleansers and replacements are in the first hall closet as you enter.
Dish washing soaps and other are, in place, under sinks. All replacements are in this closet mentioned above.

We take your and our health very seriously. Please know that we are doing everything possible to ensure a safe stay while allowing a thouroughly enjoyable Cape Cod vacation..

There should be more than enough for any of the mentioned above cleansers and other for the season, but should you run out of anything please contact me and I will have it replenished.
