Great home for 2 families, walk to Nauset Beach

Our family of 8 fit well in this home. Air conditioned, full kitchen, large dining table and comfortable living room. We enjoyed the back yard area too. Walking to the beach was so convenient, also there is a nice drop off area at Nauset Beach. We tried driving on the beach for the first time. We loved having privacy and quiet, and also enjoyed watching seals swim by. Having bedrooms on 3 different floors worked well for us.

We loved staying at this house and hope to do so again! It was great for two families, plenty of space for everyone. We loved how close it was to our favourite beach, Nauset, and easy jaunt to town for supplies. Owners provided quick replies with all questions/emails. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our third year staying here for our big family Cape trip. It's so nice to be able to walk to Nauset. Even though we had hot humid weather, the house was nice and cool with fantastic air conditioning. We look forward to our next stay!

Excellent house with lots of room and walk to beach. Has all the amenities including central A/C for living area plus window units for those rooms that don't. Charcoal Grill for BBQing, great outdoor shower, and great backyard. Highly recommended. Thanks Ron and Carolyn. See you next year!!

We had the most wonderful time with our friends staying at this beautiful home. Orleans is a beautiful town with the most amazing ice cream shop. We loved being close to two beaches both on the Bayside in the ocean side. They were gorgeous for both sunsets and sunrises.
The house comfortably fit eight people with plenty of space and privacy. A beautiful backyard. The house was well stocked and we had the most wonderful, relaxing time. We easily fit two vehicles.

This house had everything our group needed, twin beds in the upstairs and downstairs, and two king rooms on the main floor. A nice big dining table was perfect for game nights and everyone had a place to sit in the family room for movie nights. There's a quiet backyard with lots of seats and a picnic table for morning coffee. The walk to Nauset Beach is under 1/2 a mile and there's a very convenient drop off/pickup area at the end of the road that we used every day. So easy and we saved on parking! The beach was beautiful and the Monday night concert with food trucks was fun! Easy drive to P-town and the Seashore National parks.

This is our 3rd year staying at this property, it is amazing. So clean, so much room, so close to the beach. We rent with another family and the two units give opportunity for togetherness and space. Highly recommend!! We'll be back for year 4 in 2024!

2nd year in a row renting from Carolyn & Ron. This house is great for large family if looking to be within walking distance to one of the outer capes best beaches. The house is well stocked and outdoor shower is great. Sleeps 8 very comfortably with great dining room and family room for relaxing after day at the beach. Highly recommended!

We love Nauset Beach and were delighted to find a cottage within close walking distance. We rented both this cottage and the adjoining apartment.This home fulfilled all our needs and we really enjoyed hanging out together in the backyard after a long beach day. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning in the back bedrooms worked well. The living area is separate from the bedrooms which was great for those who fell asleep later than the rest of the bunch. Really good floor plan for families. We look forward to returning next year!

We couldn't have been more happy with the amount of space-larger than most Cape options for 8. Very clean, great backyard space, so close to Nauset beach. We will be returning next summer!

Each year I bring my grandchildren to the Cape to bond over music, games, fishing, and boating. This house was a fabulous find. They don't advertise three levels, one bedroom with twin beds is in the garage level included a separate tv room. My older kids (teen/preteen) loved hanging out there. The younger kids were on the 2nd floor.

Great distance to beach. We would love to return.

We had 7 people and we had more than enough room. Very clean. You can't beat the easy walk or bike to Nauset Beach. You can have privacy in your room but meet other guests in the comfortable living room and dining room. Perfect large dining room table for meals and killer card games.

We will be returning!

Our entire family of 6 enjoyed a relaxing week here last summer. We have normally stayed in Wellfleet, but the location of this property is perfect. We could easily walk to Nauset Beach or take a quick drive into Orleans. The house is very clean and comfortable...the outdoor shower is amazing! The owners were there the same week and were extremely helpful without being intrusive. We can't wait to come back in 2021.

Our party of 5 (3 generations) stayed here for a holiday weekend in October. The place was immaculate and very roomy with enough space for everyone to be together but also to get some privacy if they wanted it. The weekend was hot and the central air worked perfectly. The location can't be beat-close to Nauset Beach and some of our favorite places in East Orleans. A terrific place with every amenity you could want. Will definitely stay here again.

Our group of 8 ladies had a fantastic time on the Cape, and this house and attached apartment provided a great place to stay! Loved the large dining room table that easily accommodated all of us! Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived and there was plenty of room so none of us felt crowded. The location was perfect and close enough to the beach that we easily could walk -- and we had some great group walks to the beach and all around the beach! Orleans is a wonderful town with plenty of nice restaurants, shops (several book stores!) and grocery stores all within easy driving distance. Our group loved the accommodations, and we will definitely be looking to book with them again!

This was our second year on the Cape at this location. Once again everything was perfect. The home is clean and has plenty of room. The kitchen is well equipped, especalliy for a lobster bake, which you can get right in town at the fish market. Nauset beach is within walking distance! We look forward to coming back again!

We absolutely love it there! Lots of room, close to the beach, and every amenity possible.

This house was the perfect size for our two families--4 adults and 4 teenage boys. We all had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The house is very clean and well maintained. Everyone enjoyed the cozy living room for visiting and viewing TV and movies. The kitchen was great and met all of the cooking needs for our group. We also found the dining room to be perfect for meals and evening games. The backyard was fantastic for cookouts and hanging out. Everyone in our two families loved the nice outdoor shower after a trip to nearby Nauset Beach! The boys also loved staying in the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms since they could get away from it all when they wanted to. This house is in a great location and very close to the beach and the town. We hope to go back again!

What a perfect house for our group of friends! There were 6 of us, with plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. A quick walk to the beach and a short ride to town, Clean, well stocked, and a real difficult jigsaw puzzle just for fun. We not only enjoyed the beach, but went canoeing, thrift-shopping, ate a ton of local seafood, and watched amazing sunsets.

This house is perfect for a group of friends or a family to share... We are planning our week for next year already!

Some friends and I had a wonderful time on Cape Cod! When we arrived at the cottage we were pleased to see how warm and cozy it was and also very clean !! The yard is great, and bbq and picnic tables were fun to have. The cottage's proximity to the beach is very practical!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay here for a long weekend getaway. We'll need to plan on a longer stay the next time. We had such a nice time. We were there with friends (4+) and we all had plenty of room to relax, hang out, cook together and sleep very well. It was nice to relax in the back yard as well as tucked in the couch with a good book.

The house is in a great neighborhood for walking - down one street to walk through the marshes; down another to get to Nauset Beach. It was easy to get to the house and just as easy to get back on the highway when we had to head home.

There was plenty for us to do - shop, eat, drink, rest at the beach. The shops are wonderful. We found some great gifts that were not traditional tourist fare. We were there on Labor Day and enjoyed the parade downtown. This is an active community with lots of pride as we could see in all the floats that came by. It was easy to find a spot (near a really good coffee shop) to watch the parade.

As for eating and drinking - when we weren't cooking lobster at the house (plenty of kitchen/dining space) we enjoyed appetizers and drinks in town - Joe's had THE best oysters - $1 each, and a perfect hang out bar; or at Liam's down on Nauset Beach. Liam's had a great chowder and I'm not sure what else, because the chowder was so good. Both were very close to the house.

Being so close to everything was great for us. We were able to fit in a lot of fun, as well as some rest, in a short period of time. The house is just right for short or long stays without crowding each other. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

My husband & I brought our three boys, and each with 3 friends, to this fantastic property last July. You may think we lost our minds, but the house was plenty spacious so that it worked out great. You would never know how spacious it is by the listing photo. The home way exceeded our expectations. The house is a tremendously quaint Cape cottage. It felt like home from when we walked in. It was extremely clean & offered every amenity would could have wished. Each group of bedrooms offers privacy. In particular, the master bedroom is separate from the remainder of the house. Love the cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom, its little seating area & the private bathroom. The house has excellent temperature control. Although the house isn't far from the road, we were never kept awake. We enjoyed the private backyard & grilling back there. So appreciated walking distance from the beautiful beach, & the outdoor shower. The house is biking distance from town & the biking rail trail. I really can't think of anything I'd improve on with the house & we look forward to returning this year.

We have stayed at this house, and the location is great. Short walk to Nauset Beach in Orleans which is a spectacular beach. There is plenty of room for large family gatherings especially if you also rent the adjoining apartment. The outdoor shower, cute town, proximity to Chatham or the National Seashore beaches all make for a great vacation. Enjoy.
