Orleans Waterfront - Namequoit River w/ Pleasant Bay Access

My family just spent a week at this vacation home in South Orleans. It was very spacious and comfortable with a huge grassy yard. The deck overlooks the Namequoit River and views of the river from the house were so beautiful and calming. We rented kayaks and launched them right from the dock below the property. The house is in a great location - very quiet and private, tucked behind the Arey's Ship Yard and surrounded by Orleans Conservation Land. We loved walking and jogging the wooded trails surrounding the property. Only a 5 minute drive to the center of town and the beaches. We loved this house! show more show less

Stayed here twice in August 2015 - 6 Adults and in June 2019- 7 Adults and a baby. This home is clean, comfortable and relaxing with large rooms to hangout and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. Has a wonderful deck with table and chairs and a grill. Can see the water from inside and outside the home. Watched Seals, Swans and lots of birds. Went Kayaking quite a bit from the house to the ocean. Close to Nauset and Skaket Beaches. Close to grocery stores, seafood store, ice cream shop, and good restaurants.

Took a charter boat to fish that was fun and learned a lot about the area. Rented bikes and rode the trail. Saw local baseball games, outside music show. Drove to several different towns went to shops, museums. Drove up the coast to Provincetown and saw Sand Dunes on the way there. There is a lot to do close by or you can relax at this home watching TV or playing games, or being out in the big yard. Both times were great. Met our expectations. Plan to vacation here again.

We just returned from a fantastic week at this property. The main house & guest house are very spacious, extremely clean, and up-to-date with all the amenities. We were a party of 6 adults and 4 children, ages 4-8 years, and we had plenty of room. The kids enjoyed the big yard around the houses, while the adults took full advantage of the open deck that overlooks a beautiful lake.

The deck was our favorite spot to cook and eat dinner, with a large grill on hand and comfortable table and chairs. When the weather was inclement, we had more than enough room in the main house to cook & eat dinners, as well as play games, watch TV and hang out. The property is perfectly located, with just a short drive to Nauset Beach, Skaket Beach, great restaurants, fun entertainment, and shopping. This property exceeded all our expectations!
