A Tranquil, Convenient Location in South Orleans

This house was perfect for our multigenerational family vacation. With 5 adults and 3 kids, there was plenty of sleeping space and space to spread out and relax. The house is clean and well kept. It is close to everything we wanted to do in Orleans. The owners were very pleasant to work with.

The first thing to mention about this lovely rental is how attentive and thoughtful the owners were in making themselves available to us with any questions. Maryellen and Ralph most definitely aimed to please. They were always very responsive, either before or during our stay. In addition, they went above and beyond the typical owner to make sure that their home was comfortable for us, with adequate supplies in the house for everything a beach-house renter might need. Thank you!

The house was as advertised. If you like what you see on the website, you'll like the house. The house is well equipped for a renter. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the dining room seats eight, the outdoor area has several seating areas both in the backyard and around the side and front, and there are plenty of beach chairs.

We would most definitely rent again.

Upon arrival the house was clean and the rooms were much larger then we anticipated. We felt right at home and the house was well stocked with supplies unlike prior houses we have rented. The location is nice. I enjoyed the privacy we felt there with a nice large yard and plenty of outdoor seating around the property. My husband loved that there was two grills. One charcoal and one gas grill. We do not have a charcoal and my husband enjoyed cooking on that most of the week. The refrigerator was large which was nice since we had two families staying together. There was a nice welcome bag on the table which shows the owners care and appreciate their guests. The owner also reached out the second day to see if we had any questions or needed anything which I have never recieved from any rental previously. I have never felt so comfortable in a house. I did take advantage of doing a few loads of laundry because the week was so humid none of our bathingsuits or towels would dry. The basement is immaculately clean and also offers a ping pong table. We had brought or own but it's nice they allow you to use beach chairs and things if you need to. You won't be disappointed staying at this property.

I didn't know what to expect considering this was our first time renting the home. But it far exceeded our expectations! Maryellen was great! I already have reserved next year!

Spacious, spic and span house with all the amenities we need for our family. We loved the big deck, outside shower, and hammock.

My family of three has a tradition of coming to Orleans every other summer with another family of four. While we mostly stayed near the west side of town, we decided to stay at the south side this year. This house is an oasis for us, the area is quiet yet convenient enough to get to either Orleans or Chatham town center. Everything we need is in the house including the beach gear. My son and his friends were happy to lounge in the bonus bedroom over the garage. Maryellen is a great host and she kept us informed before and during our stay. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

What a beautiful home! Our week was fantastic! Beautifully maintained and everything you need for a getaway without a lot of work! The owners were quick to respond to all of our questions. Great location and VERY clean! We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family!

We truly enjoyed our stay in South Orleans. The home had plenty of room for our large family. We enjoyed both outdoor dining/living on the back deck and yard and indoor dining/living. One of my favorite spots was the hammock in the yard, very peaceful. We also enjoyed long walks on Quanset Road down to the town landing and on the nature trails along the road. Really a beautiful spot.

The owners are fantastic; from the clear and concise emails/directions to the nice welcome upon arrival. The house is impeccably maintained and appointed in a much more attractive way than many Cape Cod rental properties and the central air works wonderfully. Everything was as-promised and the location—for my family's needs—is great.

Had a great time the week of the 4th. Had a small cookout at the house and the kids loved the parade nearby. Nauset Beach is just a short drive away. Maryellen was very responsive with any questions I had.

Finding a property that's reasonably priced and had all the things required by the people I was going on vacation with seemed like a daunting task... until I found this house! Maryellen is awesome and very quick to respond to any concerns.

There was plenty of room in the house for our group of 8 adults. Our stay was really fantastic and I'd recommend this property to anyone looking for a week on the Cape. You'll drive a few minutes longer to some of the beaches, but it's well worth it.

Only complaints were that the internet was a bit slow and the cable channel selection was limited... but we were on vacation and using the internet and watching TV weren't a priority for us.

We had a very nice stay at this vacation home. It had everything we could possibly need and was in a convenient location to Chatham, Orleans and Harwichport.

We had a lovely time and everything was there that we needed. We will be in touch with our
plans for next summer. You have a great home in a great location.

We have had a wonderful time in your home, touring Orleans and visiting area beaches. We have visited the Cape several times and this was by far our favorite rental and town. My husband will be 50 this year and already wants to retire here. Our boys enjoyed the Ping pong table as well. Thank you so much for being such a gracious hostess and thinking of every little detail. We are sad to leave.

Thanks again for the great week. We had a wonderful stay. The house was very well and comfortably furnished. The kitchen was thoroughly and thoughtfully stocked, all the way down to coffee filters, tape, matches, cooler, etc. We appreciated having extra chairs and boogie boards to use. The property had a nice sitting area outside and our girls enjoyed using the hammock.

You have a lovely home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were great to sleep in and the house was very comfortable.. Thanks again for letting us enjoy your home. Looking forward to next year.

We just got back from our vacation and had a wonderful time. The only things that we needed to bring were bath towels, bath mats and hand towels. They had everything else there for us from beach towels and toilet paper to laundry soap! The kitchen was stocked with everything that you needed. It was also nice to have a 2 car garage to store all of our extra stuff. We had 2 families staying there with a total of 3 kids ages 5 - 7 and there was more than enough room for everyone. The kids loved playing on the property and it was set far enough back from the road where we felt safe when they were playing out there by themselves.
We walked in to a nice welcome note and a bottle of wine which we have never had at any of our other rentals. The house was very clean and centrally located to everything. We were never stuck in traffic getting to the beach and the grocery store was a short drive away.
We will definitely rent this house again. We couldn't have been happier.

We really enjoyed your home. We especially liked the outdoor eating area, outdoor shower, hammock and the upstairs bedroom with the TV. Our husbands also liked the convenience of storing their surfboards in the garage. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed.

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your Cape Cod home. We were all very impressed by the setting of the home and the outdoor components, especially the deck. As for the interior, it was not only very attractive but proved also to be very practical and well-equipped. Any of our relatives who were here this week and stopped by to see our place were equally impressed, and maybe a bit jealous of our accommodations compared to theirs!
Without a doubt, if we plan another Cape Cod visit, we would definitely want to return.

We had a wonderful time using your home last week. It was very comfortable and everyone had plenty of room to have their own space. Everyone really loved the outdoor shower. We did stay home and cook out a couple nights and you had everything we needed to do so.Your location was great for all of our day excursions. We visited Provincetown, Chatham, Hyannis, Wellsfleet and Eastham.
We enjoyed Cape Cod Baseball, the Drive in Movie Theatre, shopping, whale watching, and so much more. Your neighborhood was wonderful for our morning walks/runs.
We loved Nausset Beach and rode bikes to Coast Guard Beach. We would definitely come back sometime.

Thank you. It was a wonderful week. The house was fantastic and close to our favorite beach, Skaket.

We had a wonderful two week stay at this house with our extended family. The house was comfortable, lovely and had every comfort we needed. The older kids enjoyed the privacy of the large bedroom and they all loved the ping pong table on rainy days! The neighborhood was lovely and there were some lovely wooded trails close by for walks and runs. Very convenient and pleasant. We hope to come back next year.
