Located in the exclusive New Seabury Resorts in Mashpee (upper Cape area). House is located at end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Has gorgeous water views and access to Ockway Bay, which leads to Nantucket Sound. Guests can bring a kayak, row boat or other to put directly in the water. There is a large boat entry dock only about a quarter mile from the house.
House is comfortably furnished with all relatively new couches (4) and chairs (3). Has a modern sunny kitchen with large assortment of dishes, pots & pans, glasses ( including wine glasses), several serving platters for both inside and deck use, and all necessary utensils. Spacious, fireplace living room with new large couch and two matching barrel chairs to enjoy the 75 inch smart wall screen TV wIth which you can surround yourself with beautiful music, beautiful water views, and sliders to oversized dick.
Living room has recently been repainted as well as all trim, doors, and staircase on the main floor. Family room has a 55 inch flat screen TV and a dining room with sliders onto a stoned patio. House has two recently renovated full granite bathrooms and two half bathrooms.
Bedrooms include a large king master bedroom with flat screen TV, fireplace, sitting area and new deck with outstanding water views. Great to relax and enjoy your morning coffee. Queen bedroom and twin bedroom on same level.
There is an above ground family room area with its own full bathroom, a flat TV., queen pullout and trundle day bed. This is a great area for kids to enjoy themselves. There is a full laundry on lower level (with two laundry shutes from main and upper levels which service this area) along with a full bathroom, and another queen size private bedroom. There are two sliding doors with direct access to a large yard.
House has central AC and ceiling fans in bedrooms and family room, large driveway for off street parking for several cars. There is a direct path from yard to the water. Only minutes to walking and biking paths.
New Seabury Amenities: New Seabury is a resort area. Within New Seabury you have walking/bike paths, a marketplace with restaurants and light food choices, and shopping. Every week, Thursday through Sunday evening, there is live music in the Market Place. Families gather to eat and dance with their children, enjoy Ben & Jerry's ice cream or a delicious pizza or play miniature golf. Mornings people gather in the Market Place to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax with the newspaper. In New Seabury there are two restaurants that have been cited in magazines as the best on the Cape: The Raw Bar ( great lobster sandwiches) and the Pomponessett Inn for either casual or formal dining. The Country Club also has a beautiful restaurant which is open to the public for dining or lunch overlooking the golf courses. If you want to stay put and relax, you don't have to move outside of New Seabury during the entire vacation. New Seabury has it all.
Things to Do: There is no shortage of golf in and around New Seabury. You are within a few minutes of the best golfing in New England. South Cape Beach is only minutes from the house to which you can buy a weekly pass very reasonably for both parking and beaching. This beach also has a lifeguard. If you want to visit Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, you are less than a half hour to the ferries in Hyannis or Falmouth.
You might also enjoy a trip to Provincetown, about ninety minutes away. For great surfing you can go to Coast Guard Beach (about 35 minutes). On a rainy day their so much to do. Mashpee Commons, a large shopping area with small, quaint stores is within a seven minute ride in which there is bowling and a movie theatre as well as lots of restaurants and stores. Hyannis offers entertainment at the Lullaby Tent and for historians you might enjoy the Kennedy Museum in Hyannis. Within minutes from the house there is a children's museum and a brand new library. Also there is a Roche Brothers Shopping area within minutes of the house with a Dunkin Donuts and variety of restaurants and shopping and hair/nail salons.
When you vacation at New Seabury you don't have to travel more than fifteen minutes for anything: golf, tennis swimming, exercise workout, boating, biking, movies, shopping and fine dining. It's all right near where you will be staying.
House for its size, location, comfort and water views is the best bargain in New Seabury and perhaps on the Cape. You won't be disappointed. read more show less
