    A Lovely Stay
    September 2024

    We enjoyed our stay in this lovely area of New Seabury. The whole family joined us for a family wedding at the Popponessett Inn. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and there was room for each of our three grown kids, so it was a great choice for our pretty September week.

    Bright home in a great area.

    I loved staying in this house most of all because it has exactly what you want in a summer home: several areas to relax and enjoy the sunlight from the balconies to the lovely backyard to the skylights in the high-ceilinged living room. Everything in the house was spotless on arrival and the house is very well-stocked. Master bedroom is especially nice because of the walk-in closet and private balcony with view of the sea.

    The location is ideal because the neighborhood where the house is located is quiet but things to do are just a couple minutes away. Just in New Seabury alone, there is a beach 5 minutes away and a nice walking trail. Mashpee is also just in general a nice town to be in, with plenty of places nearby at the Commons and it has a central location for quick access to Falmouth, Hyannis and both the Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard ferries.

    Nice owners and great vacation property

    My wife and I rented this house for 4 months and it was perfect.

    The third story has the master bedroom with a full bath, king bed, and a small deck with ocean views. The second story has a small kitchen and a dining area with a table that extends to seat 8-10 comfortably. The living room is great for 8-10 people and the deck off the living room faces the ocean. The ground floor has three nice, quiet bedrooms and a shared full bathroom. Access to the backyard patio and fire pit is from either the ground level or second level.

    Right across the street there are two short trails between the houses that lead to the oceanfront. There is no beach, it is a rocky cliff, but the views are great there are beaches within a short bike ride or drive.

    There are a lot of walking trails all around the neighborhood and it's a short walk to the marketplace where there are restaurants, a coffee shop, a small general store and some shops.     show more show less
