I have rented houses for years and this is the cleanest house I've rented so far. This is a beautiful home that has been tastefully decorated in Cape Cod and seaside decor. Spacious enough to hold 2 to 3 families but still felt warm and cozy like home. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and socializing. The bedrooms are good sized, and the beds (and pillows) were very comfortable. There is a tv is every bedroom and main room of the house. There is also a window air conditioner in each room. Every detail about this home has been very well thought out. That extends to the yard, deck furniture, heated pool, screen house, dog area, and shed bar. Kaylyn and Matt are very attentive and were a pleasure to rent from. I'd love to keep this home as my own personal secret (retreat), but I learned to take turns and share in kindergarten. ; ) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

We don't live very far away from the Cape, but always find being there a wonderful retreat. It's as if everything is a bit brighter and sweeter. And of course September is the best time to visit.

Sweet Summer gave us the opportunity to extend our summer and enjoy time with friends we don't often see. The house, while not gigantic, is well laid out for gathering. Kaylyn and Matthew have given a lot of thought to the needs of their guests and were very kind and responsive. The house was spotless, the pool area had plenty of seating, the screen room is a nice touch for shade and evening bugs (although there were none while we were there), the firepit was cheerful on a cool night and the bar shed was ingenious. There's even a beach shed stock full of things to make your beach outing even more fun. The yard is well landscaped so that it feels very private to the neighboring properties.

You won't find time to watch TV, but no room in the house is without one ;). Dogs are welcomed, although the one that visited us could not be contained in the great space provided (complete with a fire hydrant!) and tried to dig his way out. My partner is disabled and has trouble getting around so having a first floor bedroom was necessary. He was able to navigate the few stairs to the house and out to the deck, however the pool railing moves a bit and the last step into the pool is pretty slippery so watch out for that.

As for location, it was better than anticipated. I am partial to Brewster and Wellfleet and tend to end up on the outer Cape, but we enjoyed the residential feel of Marston Mills and there were plenty of beaches and ponds within an easy drive. The Mashpee Wampanoag Museum is nearby as is the Lowell Holly Reservation. I've lived near to the Cape my whole life and there are always new things to discover.

Thank you Matthew and Kaylyn for a great week. My only regret is there wasn't enough time to laze by the pool :)

Honestly, if this house is lacking something.....you're a needy person....this house has everything. All we had to pack was our clothes. Pool accessories, beach chairs and accessories, bed linens, towels, fully stocked kitchen, everything is included. Especially nice if you're thinking of flying in. Having beach passes to more than a dozen beaches was fantastic. Join the crowds at the public beaches or go to the resident beaches for something quieter. The pool was a perfect for days where beach weather was less than ideal. We are a family of 4 and this house would have been comfortable with 4 more (family share?). Hosts were great and answered our questions promptly (which were few). Fenced in portion of the yard perfect for a dog or bratty kid :). Firepit, outdoor shower, outdoor dining....what else do you need? Super quiet in the evenings. Would definitely rent this house and/or work with Matt and Kaylyn again, as they made the entire experience easy and enjoyable.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Sweet Summer. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need, AC's and TVs in every room, beds are comfy, pool was a blast for the kids, tons of pool toys and beach equipment to use plus a beach pass to get into many local beaches. We made a lot of use of the screened room outside on the deck playing cards and games every night of our stay. You can't get any better than this for cleanliness and comfort. We had the best time at Kaylyn and Matthew's Sweet Summer home. Everything from booking to checkout was easy. The house and yard are beautiful and we had everything we needed and more. Can't wait to come back next summer with my family.

Our stay at Sweet Summer was amazing! It fit everyone comfortably and (despite the weather) we had an incredible time. The pool and fire pit were perfect, and we were accommodated with the pack & play provided for my infant. We all left wishing we could have stayed much longer!! The attention to detail in this house is unmatched. Would absolutely return in the future.

We spent two weeks in Kaylyn's and Matt's beautiful vacation home this summer, and we had an absolutely amazing time. The house is so comfortable with all the little Cape Cod and beach details - we loved it. The pool area is just perfect, and the yard with fire pit, little wild rabbits, birds, flowers - so beautiful and so relaxing! We also really enjoyed all the beach gear that comes with the house, including the most easy-to-set-up cabana we have ever dealt with. We return to our home in Germany full of new family memories and completely recharged.

Kaylynn & Matt are incredible hosts who treat you like family. Their home is so cozy and equipped with everything you need! They even let you use all their beach stuff! Also, the rental comes with a beach pass for 18 beaches! It's centrally located to everything! Local coffee, ice cream, mini golf, breweries, shopping, restaurants and beaches are all minutes away! The house was clean as a whistle and the pool was a bonus! Oh, and the beds are very comfortable. Thank you both ! Love Steph and Josh

This has to be one of the most beautiful summer vacation rentals I have rented down the Cape. The home is so clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Highlight was the gorgeous backyard with a wonderful pool. We enjoyed every aspect of this home and will for sure be back next Summer! The owners are so helpful with any questions I had and truly maintain this home beautifully. Thank you for having me and my family.

The Sweet Summer house was the perfect getaway for my family. It accommodates for up to twelve people which is perfect. Kaylyn and Matthew were welcoming hosts, very responsive and their instructions were clear and reasonable. The location is in a great spot not to far from shops, restaurants, grocery stores and beaches. They provided us with all typical vacation necessities including a beach pass, fire pit, pool, screened in area for eating. They also have a shed full of beach chairs, canopies, pool floats, noodles and even boogie boards. Inside they provided board games and a kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook with. The décor inside and outside is so beautiful, it makes you feel at home. My entire family could not have been happier with our stay at the sweet summer house, it was so peaceful and cozy. There is nothing we would change, Kaylyn and Matthew thought of everything! Already booked our return stay to Sweet Summer for 2025!!

I have to say that from all the vacation homes we rented over the years in Cape Cod this was em the first one that we did not have to clean before unpacking- the entire house and the outside areas were impeccable-
Kailyn was very attentive to all the details that makes a family vacation enjoyable - she was very prompt to respond and kindly answered any questions we had.
The pool is right out the dinning area which makes it very convenient to see what the kids are doing in the pool.
We highly recommend this home for your next vacation.

This home has everything you can imagine plus!! The heated pool, the new Barn Bar, the screened patio, all newly updated appliances along with the coziness of a beautiful home. I highly recommend this home for anyone that has fun on their vacation lists. Close to all the places you'd want to visit!

I am happy to say our party had a great stay at SWEET SUMMER in the sweetness of fall. This is the second rental from the hosts that I have enjoyed. We have stayed at their WNAV, Sweet Blue for several stays and have come to rely on fact that we have found a rental that is complete comfort in every detail. This property gets the same applause.

The home has ample room for large party or family that wants to happily vacation and or celebrate together. Everyone can find their own space to relax if needed, with Smart tvs in every room . Enough quiet to take a call, or an online course( if someone comes with work to do) or be on line for a meeting. Most importantly the hosts get the comfort level in the bedding and linens never one complaint which translates to restful and relaxed guests! The level of detail around comfort and cleanliness cannot be understated in this home.

The home is an easy point A to get anywhere and back. Head to Hyannis to visit the JFK museum or the Ferry and a trip to the Vineyard for the day. When you return Don't worry your kitchen is always open! And all the necessities for a good meal are here. The market is just a mile away choose to shop once or daily. Or not all!

Return from the day and sprawl out with games or ( when the pool is open) enjoy swimming with the kids. I can't wait for my already booked vacation hanging by the pool. The deck is large enough for yoga before a swim!

Get out a map and mark your nearby beach visits, including fishing and swimming at nearby Lovells Pond a mile from the house . Across the street from the pond are hiking trails to enjoy before dinner is ready. Or Head to the beach and return to the refreshing outdoor shower . This home offers a great yard for exploring , catching firefly's , and playing hide and seek. And of course the fire pit for smores, and laughs. Morning coffee over looking the pretty yard on the deck. The host often leaves guests a local favorite to taste, not giving away all the fun here.

Without a doubt all details make this an easy amazing stay. We love the keyless entry. Enough room on the lot for several vehicles with ease of getting in and out. This is the right choice, not one thing missing from this beautiful rental. Much thanks to the owners for their time and attention to detail. This is a property that is well cared for and exceeded all expectations!
