Oceanfront Condo with Private Beach and Fabulous Ocean Views

We just got back from a week in this adorable condo with its panoramic views of the ocean. Amazing! It's our third time staying in this condo but we've been coming to Ocean Gate for almost 20 years because we love it! Our daughter sleeps downstairs and we chose to stay upstairs on the sleep sofa. We wake up and go to sleep with the sounds of waves on the shore and sea birds calling out to one another. It's really something. Afternoons are spent on the deck where we enjoy cookouts and conversing with neighbours that we have come to know. The beach is right there for walks, shell collecting and swimming in the warm water.
So many nearby restaurants to enjoy and there is a trolley that swings by if you want to hop on that to go uptown or to a local eatery. All in all, it doesn't get any better than being at Ocean Gate. It's all happening right there. show more show less

My family could not ask for a better vacation home away from home. We have been visiting this property for 20 years+ and cannot get enough of it! Our kids have grown from babies to young adults with this as their recurring summer vacation, and they've never tired of it.

Whether you want to comb the beach, windsurf, swim, walk, bike, or just "chill", this is your spot. This property is close to all of the action of Hyannis but is SUPER quiet and secluded feeling.

The condo has views of the ocean from nearly every window, with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. This is our "happy place", and I'm sure it would be yours too. show more show less

Our family of 4 spent the last week in July waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning. Who can ask for a better vacation that that! Not only is the condo itself great, but the location and setting are fantastic. Like the description says "you are on the beach"! The first floor and large deck was very convenient, especially when bringing back all our beach items and bags of shells. You literally have views everywhere you look, and the colors that lit the sky at sunset were beautiful. We loved how great the beach was, the windsurfers, the food shack, watching the boats leave the harbor, and the shells were all a great experience. We could easily watch our children on the beach while sitting on the deck, and my husband and son spent hours fishing in the evening.

The home is extremely convenient to downtown and literally down the road from the ferries and restaurants like the Black Cat and Spankys. The condo inside had a great beach theme and the new basement worked well for my children ages 10 and 15 when they needed some space. Karen was wonderful to work with and made me feel like family. She answered all our questions and was extremely accommodating. My family of 4 has stayed at this property for a week each summer for over 10 years. I can't imagine a better place to stay. While it's a short drive (or even walk) to the excitement of the Hyannis Marina and Main Street, the location itself is very quiet and private. As the pictures show, the property is surrounded by water. Nearly every window has a breathtaking, relaxing view. Swimming, building sand castles, or beach combing are just steps away, and the windsurfers and kite surfers are a blast to watch. Our kids, now nearly 14 and 10, have grown up vacationing here each year and would choose it over DisneyWorld (for real!). A great place to make memories with your family. show more show less

My family stayed in this rental for a few nights in June. It is a perfect location and the views are spectacular! The weather wasn't very great for being on the beach, but we still had a great time. Karen made the entire transaction really easy. She was pleasant and responded to all my questions almost immediately. She even offered us to stay another night at no cost to try and enjoy the sun. We slept in the living room, on the pull out couch with the windows open, so we could listen to the waves crashing on the beach. The location was great. It didn't take long to get to the mall or to walk Main Street Hyannis. The JFK Memorial and Korean War Memorial are just down the street. It is a super cozy rental. There were neighbors in a few of the condos and besides noticing the cars in the parking lot, we didn't even realize they were there. We will definitely stay again when we make it back to the Cape! show more show less

My husband and I stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen/dining/living room is bright and comfortable with terrific water views and there’s a nice deck for lounging and grilling. The downstairs bedroom is a little like living on a boat as it’s basically below level – but it’s actually quite comfortable and makes for great sleeping. All this and close to everything to that Hyannis has to offer – we would definitely rent here again!
