Come relax in our newly renovated, two bedroom cottage near the ocean in Hyannis. Perfect for couples or a small family. Less than a mile to Main St. where there are a wide variety of restaurants and shopping. Relax with a game of mini golf, or play a few arcade games; you can even take a carousel ride. For entertainment, you are close to Cape Cod Melody Tent and The Dinner Train on The Scenic Cape Cod Central Railroad. You may wish to play a few rounds of golf on one of the Cape's scenic golf courses nearby. Deep sea fishing and ferries to the islands are only 9/10 mile away in Hyannis harbor.

Veterans Beach is a short 1.5 miles away. Kalmus Beach is 2 miles away and is one of he nicest beaches in Hyannis and is said to have the warmest ocean water anywhere on the Cape. Crystal clear ponds with sandy beaches are found in Hyannis as well as all over the Cape.

Beach and park pass that is included in cottage rental, allows free access to the many Barstable/Hyannis beaches, lakes & parks.A Beach and park pass is included in cottage rental and allows FREE access to the many Barstable/Hyannis beaches, lakes & parks. This beach pass will save you a minimum of $20.00 per day when going to the beaches or lakes. The pass is free to our guests but an additional security deposit applies when using the pass (security refunded when pass is returned).

Relax after the beach in our quiet yard that includes a huge, new BBQ grill and an outdoor shower. A new patio with table & chairs as well as a deck were added at the end of the 2010 season. Yard is large and not crowded - at this time pictures do not do it justice.

This is our third season renting this cottage and EVERYONE that has stayed with us has LOVED the cottage and the quiet neighborhood, and has found it quite an exceptional value for the price.

Had enough sun?....Indoor activities include 1/2 mile to Hyannis Mall, Christmas Tree Shop, Cape Cod Beer Brewery, museums & movie theatre. Aquarium is nearby.

Cottage includes all linens, pillows, towels, dishes, and pans. All you need to pack is your clothes and your suntan lotion! Washer & Dryer is right there for your convenience as well.

      Great vacation cottage

      This cottage was perfect for our family of three. Our son loves playing in the big backyard. The location was conveniently near everything. The owners went above and beyond making sure the cottage was stocked with everything you might need. We barely had to pack anything. The beach pass was a nice bonus. Would definetly recommend this cottage and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

      Perfect for one family

      Solid Cape cottage for anyone with 2 kids and trying to stick to a tight budget. Easy driving distance to Kalmus Beach which was barely 1/2 full the whole week we stayed. 20 minute walk to Main St Hyannis. Wanna kill some time in the morning? You can walk over to Barnstable Airport and watch the planes come and go. 3 AC units made for great, comfortable sleeping. Once you learn to navigate the the side roads, you'll be able to skirt around and avoid all the Cape traffic and especially the rotary. Would definitely come back next summer (and likely will) since the house is a definite upgrade from the very overpriced and under impressing hotels in the area. Don't bother over packing either since plenty of towels available and with full size washer and dryer; you can conceivably bring less if you don't mind doing some laundry midweek. Chairs and beach buggy in the shed (could've left mine at home!). Great find, clean, and well kept. show more show less

      Great place to stay...

      We had a great stay at the Cape and the house was exactly what we wanted. It was ready when we arrived and nice and clean. We had fun in the backyard playing Frisbee and bbq'ing. Getting the beach pass was great - we didn't have to pay for parking at the beach. The house is close to the mall and several restaurants in the area. In a short drive, we were at the beach. Would definitely come back.

      Such a lovely home! The owners thought of everything and they certainly take care of and maintain their beach home. Everything inside was clean and modern, there is a gorgeous back yard with a really nice grill as well. We skipped the beach a few days just to hang out in the backyard! Close to downtown and a couple of great beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back next year!

      It is always slightly worrying sending off money to a person you have never met to book a property you hope exists. However, do not hesitate to do so in this case. The property was lovely. There are so many reasons that I would recommend this home. The location was perfect, close to everything and really appreciated the beach pass that was provided by the owners. The yard was just perfect for us. Overall, the house was the perfect size for a family of six. We will never forget the wonderful time we had on Cape Cod!!       Our Family has vacationed on Cape Cod for 50 years and it holds some of the the greatest memories of our lives, and we are looking to help provide other families with the same lifelong memories. This is the second rental property that we have had on the Cape and we always strive to create a relaxed and private family vacation for our guests. We try to have everything in the house that you need to enjoy a seaside vacation. Just pack your clothes and personal items and you're on your way!

      What is special about this property?
      This is a great vacation rental! The house is avery clean, spacious year round home, and filled with everything you need for your vacation (pots & pans, linens, beach towels, beach chairs etc. etc. etc.).
      The property has a very large private yard with TWO outdoor dining areas, gas grill, and propane fire pit for enjoying at night. The yard has shady areas as well as areas of sunshine.to accommodate everyone. It's a great place to play games or just relax. If you want to stay inside, the sunporch is a nice place to enjoy. The enclosed outdoor shower is great when returning from the beach, or to wash off anytime.
      Location Location location! The beaches are 7/10 of a mile down a quite beach road, where you can find beaches with swings for the kids, as well as a boat launch and snack bars. Very close by there are several restaurants, some with with ocean and river views. In the immediate area you can find ice cream shops, gift stores mini golf, several amusements, and supermarkets.
      There is plenty of off street parking.
      The house books up quickly as more than half of the summer is rented by returning guests!

      What is special about your town?
      South Yarmouth is a very desirable location. It's a beautiful town, centrally located with everything you want for a vacation. It's perfect for a family vacation or an adult get away. If the nightlife is what you're looking for, it's just a short drive away.
