Recently updated and redecorated all season home on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood just off route 28 in South Harwich. Just a mile from Red River Beach and a few short miles to Harwichport or South Chatham. The house sits up on a hill and the deck is bordered by a yard with mature trees for privacy. Many in the neighborhood are year-round residents with well maintained homes. New windows throughout bring in lots of light and breezes. AC unit window unit and window fans are available.

There are many nearby attractions: less than 2 miles to the bike trail, Harwich Center (you can rent bikes from here and hop right on the trail), several nearby beaches on Nantucket Sound (daily parking for a visitor fee), and Harwichport is less than 3 miles away for shopping and dining. Saquatucket Harbor is on the way and offers outdoor dining with a view at Brax restaurant, a Nantucket Ferry, or a sunset cruise.

Outdoor shower, large new deck with large gas Weber grill, firepit, and Polywood Adirondack chairs out back, and a hammock for relaxing under the shade.

A perfect spot for couples or smaller family. Pets considered depending on breed/size so please inquire to discuss.

Beach towels, beach chairs, and towels for bathroom and showers (inside and out) are provided as are blankets, pillow, and bed comforters. Please bring your own bed linens.

    Relaxing and practical

    We stayed at this property because of its location. It is a quiet street with easy access to the town and the beach. Everything is a 5-minute drive.
    The house is freshly painted, classic, functional, and clean. The number of bedrooms and beds and the outside shower were excellent. We enjoyed the outdoor areas for relaxing, grilling, and the firepit on the chilly nights. Thank you, Michelle, for the little extras. They meant a lot to us and for promptly answering all our questions. You are a great host, and I look forward to next year. show more show less

    I have been spending summertime on Cape Cod all of my life, and now enjoy taking my kids here. I love South Harwich for its location to the warm waters of Nantucket Sound and nearby Chatham and Harwichport. I live permanently in Hingham, and have just updated and decorated this home and am opening it up to renters. Having rented dozens of properties throughout the mid - outer Cape over the years, I am grateful for the opportunity to provide a great experience for you in this home. I try to be flexible with families on days and needs.

    What is special about this property?
    The house is in a very quiet, family-friendly spot. Not a lot of traffice and super nice neighbors. I love waking up to the birds and sitting out on the deck at the end of the day. New hardwood floors and fresh paint in every room make this a clean and comfortable place to relax.

    What is special about your town?
    Harwich is a great town in the middle of the Cape. It's close to many activities for kids and families, beaches, shopping, the bike trail and hiking spots. Harwich and surrounding towns have so many wonderful trails and spots to view the beauty of the Cape. It's off a major road to access it all yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.
