This pristine and beautifully renovated home offers privacy and adventure. Located on a quiet cut de sac with deeded access to Long Pond--the largest lake on the Cape, access to the CCRT bike path and < 4 miles to Harwich saltwater beaches, the location could not be better!!!

The EsCape has been recently updated with 3 levels of designer finishes! The main floor has two living/family areas, a TV, fireplace and lots of windows to let the sunshine in. There is a large dining table, that sits 10 -12 and a smaller table for puzzles, board games/cards or overflow seating. Kitchen is fully equipped for grilling the perfect summer meal, a lobster clambake or a happy hour with fun frozen drinks! Sliders from the kitchen will lead you out to a beautiful deck with a grill, new dining table and furniture.
The second story has 3 bedrooms and a full bath. Each room has a new ductless heating/air system. The master bedroom is oversized with plenty of room for an infant pack n' play or toddler bed. There is a smart TV in the master. Each room has a dresser and large closet space.
The basement has been redone and has a 4th bedroom that hosts 3 beds and a smaller area with a trundle bed. Its the perfect sleeping area for all the kids! There is a separate seating area with couch and TV, a full brand new bathroom, laundry area and access to an outdoor shower. The basement walks out to a newly built patio with a fire pit and adirondack chairs for evening warmth and smores!

Harwich is a quintessential Cape Cod town. It is home to beautiful beaches, an adorable main street of shops and restaurants, Cape Cod minor league baseball team and the famous Sundae School Ice Cream! There is so much to do and It is an ideal location for exploring the entire cape and islands. Enjoy the seasonal ferry to Nantucket from Harwich or the Hyline ferry from Hyannis, a quick 15-20 minute drive. Explore the national seashore and its protected dunes while taking the scenic drive to Provincetown, the tip of Cape Cod! You can visit Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge in neighboring Chatham, the Kennedy Museum in Hyannis or the many lighthouses of Cape Cod. Golf awaits and Cape Cod fishing is spectacular.

    We enjoyed a fantastic week at the EsCape. The home is beautifully appointed with plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen equipment served us well the days we didn't eat out. We enjoyed using the upper and lower decks during the evenings complete with a grill and fire pit. The home's great location gave us access to Long Pond and ocean side beaches were a short drive away as well as other Cape Cod destinations of interest. The house came equipped with beach gear, bikes, kayaks and lawn and board games which we made great use of during our stay. Owner Laurie kept in constant touch before and during our visit. If you are looking for a great, relaxing, a well equipped home with all the amenities and great location I highly recommend The EsCape.

    We've rented many times and had some great homes. This was one of the best for our family. It had everything we needed and was in a perfect location with the bike path and Long Pond near by. Can't go wrong with this rental!

    We had an amazing stay! The house checked all of our boxes. Communication with the owner, Laurie, was excellent and she was always quick to respond to any questions The place was spotless, well-stocked with everything we needed, and even came with access to bikes which our teens really enjoyed. The deck was a perfect spot to relax and listen to the birds over coffee. The location was great for exploring the area and the outer cape.     We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming Cape Cod rental, and it exceeded all of our expectations! The home was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of cozy comfort and seaside charm. The location was unbeatable, just a short walk to the Long Pond beach and an easy drive to local attractions. We greatly enjoyed floating and paddle boarding on the pond daily. We were also able to enjoy sunny days at the Red River Beach. Mornings on the lovely patio with a cup of coffee were a highlight. The surrounding nature provided a tranquil escape.     Perfect place for a Cape Vacation!
    It was our first visit to Cape Cod and this lovely home exceeded our expectations. It's was clean, beautifully decorated and had all we needed for a fun week. We enjoyed coffee and meals on the deck. The proximity to Long Pond was a bonus- floating and kayaking there was our favorite part. Laurie's recommendations were so helpful.     Laurie's home was perfect for our family. There were 10 of us for the week and we had plenty of room for all. Great areas for gathering and sharing meals together with a well appointed kitchen.     Great week! It was our first time to the Cape. Location was perfect for exploring. There were 8 of us total and house had lots of room. Kitchen had everything! My kids loved walking to the Pizza Shark for pizza and ice cream. The adults loved the deck. Would highly recommend!!

    I have lived almost 30 years on the west coast and the Cape still feels like home. I grew up vacationing here as a child. You can not beat the long hot days, salty air and delicious ice cream!! I knew I wanted that for my children too. My husband and I started bringing our family every summer and they too fell in love. Finally in 2019, after years of dreaming of a cape house, we purchased the EsCape. We are thrilled to own a piece of the Cape and so happy to be able to share it with you!

    What is special about this property?
    We are a very active family and absolutely love access to the CCRT bike path and to the lake. Each day starts with a swim in the lake, a run on the bike path or ride to a neighboring town(and sometimes all of the above). After a day at the beach, we love jumping in the warmer lake water and paddling or kayaking as the sun sets!

    The house layout provides great space for multigenerational families. There are 2 outdoor areas--a fire pit patio and a deck with dining table, sitting area and grill. 2 living areas and a basement with TV allows adults, teens and young kids to congregate in separate areas.

    What is special about your town?
    Harwich has an adorable main street with restaurants, shopping and ice cream. The beaches are plentiful and the lakes are great for water sports and fishing. Baseball fans can enjoy a minor league game. Kids will love the go karts, trampolines and minigolf. Lovely Chatham is a short drive or assessable via the CCRT bike path. National seashore beaches and provincetown are all within 20 miles. Ferries to Nantucket are available from Harwich and to Marthas Vineyard from neighboring Hyannis. It is a perfect town for a family vacation and a great spot for exploring the entire Cape.
