Everything about this house is excellent. It is right down the street from a pond, close to many ocean beaches, restaurants, and towns to explore. It was clean and spacious, with plenty of space to cook meals at home, get cool between beach adventures, and relax at the end of the day. We will be back!

Wonderful property with every detail covered! We have been going to the cape for 10+ years, and this house was hands down the nicest. The AC was more than sufficient, and quiet! The beds and pillows and couches were all extremely comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower had amazing pressure. The owners have really thought of everything to make vacation easy and comfortable – from kayaks and bikes to beach chairs and even a wagon! The owners were kind, responsive and easy to work with. We had a great stay! The house was spotless, and it was the perfect size for our family of 4. We loved the being able to bike to the rail trail through the neighborhood without having to take any main roads as well as the proximity to some of our favorite spots in the Harwich area.

What a sweet place in East Harwich! The house is exactly as pictured, very clean and in a great location. Quiet neighborhood and kitchen is well stocked. The two of us had a great week there and wouldn't think twice about returning. Can ride to bike trail and owner provides neighborhood route to take vs busier road with no shoulder. We frequent different beaches, from Nauset to Head of the Meadow and getting to any of those was easy with Route 6 being so close. Unfortunately, we didn't take advantage of the bonus firepit and kayaks as we had intended, but did use the two backpack beach chairs to try them out, which was helpful for us since we are in the market for replacements.
The owners were very responsive from our 1st inquiry and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for the thoughtful gift bag!

My husband and I with our 2 adult children, were able to spend two weeks in this lovely and completely renovated 2-bedroom vacation rental. The rental was clean, has a well-equipped kitchen, a newly built outdoor shower, and is close to swimming opportunities in near-by ponds/lakes as well as the bay and Atlantic side of the Cape. We especially enjoyed the very comfortable king size bed as well as the quiet split system air conditioning that made our vacation especially restful and rejuvenating. The location of the rental makes the exploration of the mid-Cape especially easy. We were able to take advantage of the Hyannis High Speed Ferry to spend a day on Nantucket, found some local pickleball courts, and enjoyed biking on both the nearby Cape Cod Rail Trail as well as Old Colony Rail Trail. We very much enjoyed our stay!

The home owners were great communicators, easy to work with, and did everything necessary to make us feel we were at a home away from home upon our arrival. The house was cozy, well taken care of, and delightfully decorated for a lovely retreat. We highly recommend this rental for a relaxing week at The Cape along Long Pond!

My family of 4 (with two kids age 8 and 12) spend a fantastic week at this well-appointed and newly renovated home. The owner Bret is responsive and friendly and answers ALL the questions.

The house is located mid-Cape so we did not have to travel far or long to visit any destination on Cape Cod. The owners have gone to a great deal to anticipate anything you might need in the house that makes it feel more like home (cleaning materials, coffee filters, food storage containers, drink containers, dishwasher tabs, multiple types of cooking utensils) to anticipate what you might need and not regretting not bringing it yourself. We received a nice little welcome to the cape gift bag which was unexpected and introduced us to a few attractions in the area.

The information about the house and local attractions ( ice cream, seafood and hikes!) was comprehensive and helpful to help get us sorted and on our way as Cape newbies. The house has air conditioning split systems but the weather was so pleasant that opening the windows for fresh air was all that was needed to flush out any stale air from during the heat of the day.

The house sits on a corner of a larger through road, as far as Cape Cod roads go, but it is very quiet and peaceful, especially at night. The house is right down the beach from Long Pond Beach. You must walk on the busier road to get to the beach if not driving but not for long. Local drivers seem to be aware of pedestrians in this section of the road. The pond is a decent size and is perfect for Stand Up Paddleboards and Kayaking and swimming in the enclosed swimming area. I recommend morning kayaks for a great and quiet time on the pond.

You can get to the rail trail bike path leading to Dennis, Chatham or Brewster within a 5-10 minutes ride through the neighborhood to get on your way. This was a little longer for us than anticipated for our youngest rider, and all future rides we drove to parking lots with our bikes rather than ride the longer distance due to ability.

Everyone slept really well, lots of comments and deep solid restful sleep on the comfortable king and twin mattresses. Our primary reasons for choosing this house were the kayaks, pond and the proximity to the bike trails. I would happily return here again should I come back go the Cape and have already recommended the house to others. We were completely satisfied with our stay. show more show less

Lots of value at this newly remodeled, beautifully decorated, clean home. We were the first renters and thoroughly enjoyed it. Close to beaches (Long Pond), bike trail, restaurants (especially liked Brax and Red River BBQ), and easy access to all Cape Cod sites. Kayaks were available for us to use as was a fire pit out back and nice deck with bbq grill. The kitchen was fully stocked and well planned. The beds were super comfortable and made the vacation that much more enjoyable. There also was a nice welcome binder with great hints about the area and suggestions on places to go and things to do. Bret was super easy to work with and available if we had any needs. Highly recommend this property and this host in the heart of Cape Cod- - we plan on returning!! show more show less
