This home offers everything you need for a memorable vacation. For a true New England adventure, walk across the street to Saquatucket harbor and catch the Freedom ferry for a scenic day trip to Nantucket. We understand how difficult it can be to leave your pets behind, so we gladly consider allowing them to join you on your vacation

This spacious four-bedroom, two-bathroom home is designed for comfort, making it ideal for families and groups. The main level features a well equipped kitchen and dining area, a bright sunroom perfect for morning coffee, a spacious living and dining room, and a cozy family room overlooking the backyard. A large utility room with a washer, dryer and plenty of storage space is also available for all your vacation essentials, from beach chairs to golf clubs.

Upstairs, four thoughtfully arranged bedrooms accommodate up to ten guests, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone. A renovated bathroom adds modern convenience, while individual air conditioners in each bedroom (1 queen and a twin, 2 twins, 3 twins and 1 full) providing cool comfort during the summer months.

Outside, the private fenced backyard is the perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach. Enjoy evening lobster feasts or BBQ on the grill, gather around the fire pit, and dine under festive string lights at the picnic table. There is also a wonderful outdoor shower to perfect the laid back Cape Cod experience.

For boating enthusiasts, this location is unbeatable. Guests enjoy free boat parking, and Saquatucket Harbor, one of the best launching spots on the Cape, is right across the street. It’s the perfect getaway for a day on the water providing access to nantucket Sound, Monomoy and Chatham.

    Nice week away

    Perfect location. We knew what we wanted to see/visit on the cape and this was a great spot for us to stay. The space in the house was terrific. Plenty of room for our extended family. The porch was a perfect play area for our toddlers as was the fenced in yard space.
    Weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy an evening fire in the fire pit too.

    Freedom House Rental

    The house was in a great location! Ann was great to work and made sure we had everything we needed and even checked in with us a few times during our 2 week stay. The house was all new inside which was nice and the backyard is great. We spent a lot of time around the fire pit with wine and roasting marshmallows!! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay!

    What a find the Freedom House is!

    We loved our stay at the Freedom House.... spacious home with old school charm yet all the updates! Adorably decorated and very clean. The bedding was so soft & cozy.
    Close to everything.... beaches, shopping, restaurants and ice cream! We loved the private fenced in yard and firepit. Plenty of parking.

    Jack and Ann could not have been more accommodating and were the best hosts.
    We will most definitely be back!

    The Freedom House is a charming Cape Cod beach house located on Main Street in Harwich Port. While not directly on the waterfront, its prime location offers the next best thing. Directly across the street is a full service main providing ferry service to Nantucket and boat launch facilities. A short walk takes you to a variety of restaurants, shopping options and beaches. You can enjoy enjoy the picturesque views of Saquatucket harbor just across the street. For those with boats, free boat trailer parking is available. Additionally, the central location makes it convenient to explore other charming cape Cod towns with a short drive. We understand how difficult it can be to leave your pets behind, so we gladly consider allowing them to join you on this vacation.

    Harwich Port is a perfect blend of coastal beauty, outdoor adventure, and small town charm. It has beautiful beaches along Nantucket Sound, fun little shops and galleries along Route 28, cozy pubs and restaurants, beautiful spired churches and a gem of a golf course. There are so many aquatic activities available: quiet canoeing through the great marshes, deep sea fishing out of the harbors, fly fishing in several of the smaller ponds and swimming, sunbathing and walking on the beautiful beaches. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is just 2 miles away which has 25.5 miles of paved rail trail to enjoy a bike ride all the way to the Cape Cod National Seashore.
