We had such an amazing time at the Nehemiah Kelley house. Karl went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The house location was perfect! Just close enough to downtown shops and restaurants and just far enough to enjoy some quiet nights by the fire pit. Also super close to the wedding we were attending at the Wychmere Beach Club. A must stay for a family/friend getaway!

Karl's home is beautiful and was the perfect choice for our Girl's weekend get away for our 9 college friends. There was so much space and we used very square inch of it. With so many bedrooms and bathrooms, it surely did not disappoint! We made meals in the kitchen, ate in the dining room, had coffee in the "piano room", and did yoga in the living room. The outside fire pit and outside shower also got their play. We topped it off with appetizers, drinks, and a whole lot of fun at night in the Barn. A quick walk to the beach and shopping in town rounded it all out. We had a blast and look forward to coming back! Thank you Karl foe being a Super Host!

My extended family of 14 (parents, adult siblings and 6 kids ranging from 2-16) rented this house in late June 2022 and had a great time.

The house is older (built in 1840) but charming and has been updated in the kitchens and bathrooms. It's well decorated and had plenty of bedrooms and space for us.

The outdoor deck, grill, fire pit and chairs and tables were a hit - we loved watching the bunnies in the yard and making s'mores.

The barn space has a pool table, a mini-rec room/TV area and game tables and it was a fantastic hang out space for our teens and teen-like adults.

CVS and Dunkin Donuts are across the street and the house being 5 minutes from shops and restaurants in town was wonderful too. About a 10-minute, easy walk to the beach - the location is excellent.

Karl is responsive and a great host. I recommend this place for a large family gathering! We had a fun time.

From the moment we pulled into the beautiful, crushed sea shell driveway, we knew we were somewhere special! The house was quintessential New England style incorporating updates along with keeping the traditional homestyle feel of a Captain's house.

Anything and everything you could want was included at this home and if it wasn't (which we never found we needed anything else) you were steps away from CVS, Dunkin Donuts, Cranberry liquors, ice cream parlors and restaurants galore…all within a block away!

The home has so many bedrooms and sleeping areas! We had more than enough space for our group of 14. There are so many seating areas and gathering spots within the home for everyone to work (our remote workers were extremely satisfied…great internet and rooms to set up their workspace in), play (the grounds of this home were immaculate and so beautiful…and the BARN with all its charm and fun things to do like pool, cards, darts and BIG screen TV! No reason to ever leave the property!)and lastly, relaxation (whether we we watching TV in the beautiful family room or reading a book in the living room or enjoying the outdoor back porch with a cookout, each area of this property was utilized and enjoyed by everyone!).

I have not even talked about the beach! It is so close! We walked there every morning and evening for sunsets! We had so many day trips planned we didn't get to go during the day, but Karl had everything there (beach chairs, umbrellas, towels etc) in case we did!

Karl could not have been nicer and so helpful! Our time at this home was one of the most memorable for our family. We are so grateful to Karl for sharing this very special place with us!

The Jeremiah Kelly House Harwich Port MA. Right on Route 28 - walk to town shops, restaurants & the beach. Karl is the best host. The home is beautifully restored; two kitchens well stocked(; new appliances; spacious with three living rooms or "snugs"; very clean! We loved this house and our stay there. Thank you Karl for the wonderful memories!

The Captain Kelley House in Harwich was the perfect spot for our group's extended golf weekend (Wed thru Sunday). This trip has been annual thing for more than 25 years. And this spot may be the best so far of many great ones our group booked.

Proprietors Karl and Heather have put tremendous care and creativity into restoring this historic property and outfitting it for a wonderful vacation experience: for group excursions, families, special events, or any other reason to explore the beauty and splendor of Cape Cod.

Karl's service and hospitality is first rate: a 5 star mentality. He will source and present just about any type of cookout, clam bake, or meal that you request. Make your own arrangements for activities like golf, fishing, a Bass River tour or a hike - OR leave the booking and details to your hosts and just be ready to enjoy the fun.

Located right on Route 28 - yet amazingly quiet and nestled away with a circular drive and spacious grounds - the Capt.Kelley House is just minutes from the best pubs and Cape Cod bars around.

But you may never leave the property after dark: because the best night spot may actually be the private "TP Lounge" right on property: a period barn outfitted in rustic decor with a first rate entertainment system, billiards, and - upon request - a fully stocked bar ready for your arrival.

16 of us from the office got together for a golf/meetings weekend. To say it was perfect would be an understatement. Karl's attention to detail and his overall hospitality is like nothing you will receive from a hotel, it is far superior. He asked for a list of food and drink, it was all there. He had a cord of fire wood delivered, made sure the house was spotless, and everyone's needs were met. He uses his connections to have a Cape Cod clambake for us all. Had breakfast sandwiches delivered to the house before our tee times. If you are a Cape Cod golfer this is the perfect spot, right in the middle of it all.

We have already booked a weekend for next year.

We had a wonderful time staying in Karl's house. The house is really spread out - which is nice for a large group of people. The downstairs bedroom worked well for my elder mom so she didn't have to do too many stairs.

The barn was a wonderful add to the house! We had some friends over and had some drinks in there the first night we were there. This house is a gem for a group having a trip to the cape!

We were getting married at Wychmere Beach Club - and this house is very close to there -- so worked well for our group of friends who were coming to our wedding.

The rental was absolutely perfect for our Wedding Party to stay at for a wedding at Wychmere. The location was a short walk to downtown, a stones throw to dunkin donuts, and a skip over to a breathtaking beach! The property itself was tremendous, from the plethora of bedrooms, bathrooms and outdoor showers, multiple refrigerators, fire pit and barn bar..... this place was perfect.

The owner is great! Karl met us a few months ago to show us a lay of the land and then met us upon arrival to make sure everything was ready to go. He will answer a phone call, text message or email at all times.

We appreciated our stay and couldn't have had a better experience in Harwich Port!

The house is exactly as described! We were a group of 15 girls and no one felt on top of each other or had to fight for the bathrooms.

The beach was a very quick walk away and he supplied all the essential beach gear! The barn seriously made this house the spot to be for us. We had so much fun dancing and hanging in there at night. The backyard is huge, plenty of room for activities.

Utilized the outdoor showers a ton. Karl was very informative and helpful. I was having a very hard time finding something for my big group in New England IN season and he was willing to work with us ... saved my bachelorette!

This home is a true gem. The owner (Karl) is wonderful to work with. He's responsive with questions, helpful with recommendations around the area, and instantly makes you feel like you're a friend staying at his house. Not many rentals are like that these days!

The house itself is large and tastefully renovated and decorated. The bedrooms are nice sizes and have AC. There's a wet bar/prep area right near the deck along with a large grill and outdoor griddle. There's also a large dining table that sat all 14 of us for family meals. The home has different "sections" so there's room and space if you're staying as a large group for a little privacy when needed. The backyard is large and the new deck and outdoor shower were crowd pleasers in our group.

The beach is a short walk away with gentle waves for little ones and it was never crowded. You're also across the street from a Dunkin Donuts and CVS for any quick essentials and less than 5 mins walking to town with cute shops, restaurants, and ice cream.

All in all, this home was wonderful and we will certainly be back!

We were not sure what to expect with a rental on Cape Cod during Corona outbreak. We were immediately put at ease working by the owners. The attention to detail, hospitality and responsiveness was incredible.

As For the House - Fabulous, well laid out with lots of updates to go with its charm. The size allows for large groups to have their own space, with great spaces to come together and entertain. The location is unrivaled, in the heart of downtown and a short walk to anything you would want on a Cape vacation. It will be a new family tradition for sure, can't wait for next summer's stay. Highly recommended!!

We rented this beautiful home for a week and had a great time. Plenty of room, excellent entertaining set up and awesome outdoor showers. Lots of history but modern amenities as well. But what really made the vacation excellent was the location. Couldn't have been better. CVS and Dunkin Donuts across the street, 3 minute walk to one beach (the other was about a 7 minute walk), shops, tons of restaurants and liquor store. Absolutely easy to accommodate whatever anyone wanted to do at any time without having to get in a car. We stayed there with adults, teens and children and everyone was delighted. Would highly recommend!!!!
