This beautiful, spacious, immaculate antique home is just filled with old New England charm but updated nicely with everything you need. A large extended family can fit with ease. There's a sweet separate cottage for all the kids or another couple. Lovely yard, large family room with couches and large flat screen, breezeway for cocktails, outdoor shower. Cape Cod is like no other place, and this classic home, mid-cape, is smack in the center of everything. Short walk to the town beach, but one block to the village main drag with cozy places to eat, drink, shop. Bayside beaches easy to reach. National seashores start two towns over. Provincetown makes a great day trip. The owners Mark and Sheila are wonderful and take care of every detail. Great people. Highly recommend! show more show less

We've been going to Harwich since the mid 70's. We truly enjoy our time at this awesome home close to Bank St beach and downtown Harwich Port. Owners are very responsive and their love of this home is evident in every nook and cranny. Our four adult kids and grandkids all agree that we want to make new memories here forever. House has everything we need or want: Walk to beach, restaurants, Sundae School and small satellite library for kids. Cottage is an added bonus. Outdoor gas grill and gas fire pit are a plus too. It is a quintessential old Cape Cod home with all the necessary upgrades. We will return! show more show less

We had 3 families (5 children) vacation together in this perfect home. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their "own space" and a great yard for children to play and run around. The location was ideal; we were steps from Bank Street Beach as well as Sundae School for an evening sweet treat. The house was air conditioned (perfect for the HOT week we were at the Cape), the appliances all relatively new and in great working order, plentiful beds, and 2 kitchens because there was also a kitchen in the guest house! This is our second year renting this property, and we couldn't be happier. This home suits our multigenerational group perfectly - great sized bedrooms w/comfortable beds, nice linens provided, large kitchen, super comfy family room is perfect for gathering at night. The guest cottage is a wonderful bonus for those with young kids.

The beautiful back yard is perfect for kids to play and adults to gather around the table, and the fire pit is a nice addition!

We love being able to easily walk to Bank St. Beach, as well as great restaurants, shops, and Dr. Gravity's! The music stroll is a nice bonus, too, and it's a treat being able to enjoy the music from the back yard.

The owners are great to work with - very helpful and responsive!

My family family has been renting on the Cape every summer for the last 18 years. This house is by far our favorite. It's the perfect combination of location and space. Bank Street Beach is a 3-5 minute walk away. The house itself is fantastic. More than enough room so our 12 guests weren't tripping over each other. The family room was a great space for us all to relax and have a few laughs at the end of the day. The back yard is beautiful with plenty of room for activities.

Our family enjoyed the comfort and living space of the house. The house was fully equipped to meet our needs. It is an ideal location to Bank St. Beach as well as downtown Harwich Port. We enjoyed the privacy and landscaping of the property. It was quiet and relaxing.

It took us about 30 years and about 15 different houses on the Cape before we found the perfect house for what is now our family of 10, which includes 6 adults, and a 16, an 11 and two 10 year olds. A+ location, less than a 5 minute walk to Bank Street Beach and less than a 5 minute walk to the center of Harwichport. The kids thought that it was great to have their own house (the Cottage with a living room with futon, bedroom, kitchen and full bath) and that it took them less than 5 minutes to get to the Ice Cream stand (every day!) and to Dr. Gravity's Kite Shop and Dr. Cavity's Candy Shop (every day!). The main house has all of the amenities you need . The family room is superb and the patio, yard and outdoor shower are terrific. Sheila was very helpful. Unlike some other rentals that we stayed in, I don't have one discouraging word to say about this home. Hoping to return again next August. show more show less

Second year we have vacationed at this property with our children and grandchildren. We have enjoyed this house so much and made great memories playing in the big beautiful yard, games in the sunroom, biking in the charming neighborhood, shopping and dining just around the corner and especially our walks down to the beach every day. Bank St. Beach is clean, gentle, "shark-free," busy but not crowded. We love this place.

Our family has been vacationing on Cape Cod for 25 plus years, and this house was absolutely one of our favorites. First, the location cannot be beat... an easy walk into town or to the beach keeps everyone happy. When someone in our group had enough sun, he or she could stroll back to the house and not everyone had to leave. Or if someone wanted to eat out for lunch and spend the day shopping, he/she could take off and explore the fun restaurants and shops of downtown Harwichport.
/>Second, the house is very well maintained....the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is up-to-date with a sitting area, and the family room has a great TV and lots of seating for those nights we rented a movie. The patio is lovely, and the back yard is flat and perfect for yard games.

Our teenagers made use of the guest house and enjoyed having their own space. And the outdoor shower is a really good one...helping keep the sand out of the house!

The owners are very organized, helpful, and genuinely want their guests to enjoy a memorable vacation.

We plan on returning again next year!

We had a wonderful week-long stay. The house was large and comfortable enough to accommodate 2 families, and the property provided ample room to host barbecue's for extended family. The best aspect of this rental is the location. A 2 minute walk to both the centre of Harwichport and the beach, you really get the best of both worlds.
The inside of the home is immaculate and has the added bonus of central air conditioning which is very difficult to find in a rental property. The sun room definitely got the most use for us during our vacation as it was the perfect spot to spend time together as a family.
The owners are very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I would certainly rent this property again and have no hesitation in recommending it. show more show less
