5 minute walk to beach and to town! This traditional style Cape cottage offers a walk around porch, a patio with a table and a BBQ grill, and a large back yard. The house is located at the end of Bay Lane (just off Wychmere Harbor) in Harwich Port. Wychmere Harbor is only 4 doors away and Merkel & Bank Street beaches approx. 2/10 of a mile from the cottage.

The house includes a kitchen with 1/2 bath, an eat-in dining room and cozy living room. There are 4 bedrooms; 1 downstairs with a King bed & 1 futon. The 3 upstairs bedrooms are as follows: 1 room with Queen bed, 1 room with a Queen bed, and 1 room with 2 single beds.

Outdoor furniture is included. There is parking for two vehicles.

The house provides excellent access to the downtown area of HarwichPort including restaurants, shops, coffeehouse, bakeries, Sundae School Ice Cream Shop, hair salons, etc. All within walking distance! Just a short stroll (approx. 2/10 mi.) to Merkel & Bank Street Beaches make this a great vacation spot! Sorry, no pets.

    As a family we had a wonderful time spending our vacation at property 1674. It is a lovely, open home with a great porch, garden, and patio. We enjoyed spending time on the porch with coffee and a book. The area is easy to get to and has an easy walk to Harwich Port for shopping or dining. Everything you need is in the home. The beach is a short, enjoyable walk down a very scenic road. We would definitely rent again.

    We have stayed in Harwich Port every summer, but this was our first visit in this house. The location is fabulous -- walking distance to the beach & town, private backyard and wraparound porch, Wychmere Harbor just down the drive. Pictures and description are accurate. Airy but also AC-equipped, and an adorable family of bunnies greeted us in the yard each morning. We'll be staying again this year!

    "What a great great place!!! Pix on line do not do this cottage justice. Every room was airy, spacious & sunny w/ a real Cape Cod flaire. Not to mention spotless. After early a.m. walks to the harbor (2 min.away)I'd enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee on the sun-filled wrap around porch. Then come evening wine w/ family & friends again on my favorite spot, "THE PORCH"! Having ac turned out to be a plus. Being so close to ocean w/ great sea breeze, never thought we'd use it. But due to 4th of July heat wave did use the 1 in master bedroom for a couple of nites for my "young at heart" but elderly parents. We all enjoyed easy walks to Sundae School for icecream, Bonatts for of course "Meltaways" and the Port & Hotstove for some nite fun. Not to mention an easy walk to my favorite Bank st. beach! Beautiful patio & back yard were perfect when it was my turn to host family cook-out. The kitchen had every amenity I could possibly hope for. Great pot for lobsters & corn on the cob. I had choice of charcoal or gas grill & opted for coal. What else would you cook steak tips on ?? Would I rent 1 Bay Ln. again ? FOR SURE!! P.S. did meet owner Ron while checking in. Nice touch showing us around. Thank you Ron for accomodating us that extra Fri. The wedding at Chatham Bars was "over the top"! Thanx to you & your wife for sharing your beautiful summer home.
