    Perfect summer cottage

    I recently rented this adorable cottage for a two week vacation with my son and grandkids. This cozy home offered two queen sized bedrooms for the adults and a great "bunk room" for the kids. The oversized kitchen table and outdoor picnic table gave us plenty of space to sit and eat. The beautiful backyard offered opportunities to grill and chill, or take a quick shower after the beach.
    But the best part of this home was its location. It is literally a 5-6 minute walk to the beach, (even for a 6yo). There are beaches, shopping, supermarkets, restaurants and the ferry all within a 5 minute drive.
    We had a great time and look forward to doing it again next year.     show more show less

    Birthday Vacay

    This cozy, well decorated, cottage has all you need to enjoy your Cape Cod getaway! Walking distance to the beach was a plus. Beautiful bayside walking trail is a block away! The kitchen has everything you need - we had a barbecue outside on the patio (beautiful yard too!), the house had all the grilling supplies and trays, etc. we could need for entertaining. They even had 2 cooler bags to use for the beach! LOVE a good outdoor shower to boot! Shopping is closeby too. Highly recommend, "The Cape Cod Bagel" 2 mi. away (order ahead), "The Clam Man" for fresh seafood (we got clams and oysters), "Shipwrecked" for apres beach cocktail or dinner w/a waterview. "Jim's Clam Shack", kinda pricey, but BYOB and sit upstairs on their outside deck for a view of the MV ferries coming and going. We brought our bikes and took a day-trip to Martha's Vineyard on a cloudy day. Woods Hole is also a great spot if the weather is iffy. Thanks Nancy and Norm, we'll be back! show more show less

    Family Vacation

    This beautifully decorated Cape Cod home was perfect for our family vacation. The kitchen/living room area was comfortable and inviting. The backyard was our favorite spot and the outdoor shower was a definite bonus! A short walk to the beach and close to all that the Heights has to offer made for an ideal setting.

    Over the last 20 years, our family has spent many happy summers vacationing in Falmouth. Our family of 5 (two girls and one boy), have many fond memories of long days on the beach, strolling downtown for ice cream and postcards and taking bike rides on the Shining Sea pathway. It has been a dream of ours to own a home in Falmouth - our happy place - and to be able to share it with those who love the sound of the surf, sand between their toes and long sunny days at the beach. We love to walk around town, whether it is a 5-minute stroll to the Bristol or Heights Beach, or a casual walk to Shipwrecked, The Black Dog Cafe or to the harbor to watch the boats come in and out. If this sounds like you, then you've found your home!

    What is special about this property?
    This is the perfect Cape house! With its size and features, all you need to do is to relax and enjoy a summer vacation or the quiet of an off-season retreat! We love it here because it is within walking distance to the beaches, restaurants, walking trails, the ferry and church. Our cottage reminds us of everything we love about vacations in Falmouth with its whale shutters, charming shiplap walls and outdoor patio for enjoying your favorite Cape beverage.

    Falmouth Heights/Maravista is the quintessential Cape Cod community. It has fantastic beaches, a quaint downtown for shopping and yummy restaurants, the Shining Sea bike trail, lots of kayaking opportunities and Martha's Vineyard only 35 minutes away by ferry.
