This was our first time with our 4 adult children to the Cape. I had no idea where to stay and stumbled across this adorable Oyster Cottage. It checked the boxes and booked it right away. And it didn't disappoint. Jenn was truly an amazing virtual hostess. Wait, what?! I had to worry about nothing. Even my girls were at awe! The cottage was FULLY equipped to bake breakfast muffins or a steak on the grill. And don't worry about bringing the groceries because Jenn's got you covered on where to grab them! We grabbed some firewood and made s'mores on the amazing fire pit and tell childhood stories. Oh how we laughed!

This place was right across from a private small beach and we had kayaks delivered to launch right from there! Talk about winning! It's so close to a winery, restaurants and even local farm that we cut our own sunflowers and took home fresh corn and fruit! And ladies, talk about all the shopping! And the amazing beaches and sunsets. Sigh!

After beach days clean off in the outdoor shower and rest in the hammock! And don't worry you don't need to bring any outside chairs, wagon, games… she's got you there too!

My family had an amazing time at the cottage. The home was very modern and clean. The outdoor shower was a bonus for washing off after the beach! The location was great, only a 10 minute ride to several different beaches. The hosts were great too. They checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Luckily we had everything we needed but it was a nice feeling knowing we could contact the owners if we needed them. Highly recommend!

The Oyster Shore Cottage was the perfect spot for our family getaway. The house is so well appointed with everything you could need, especially well stocked for cooking and enjoying meals at home. Everything was clean and comfortable - our family all slept well and rooms were spacious, even with a mix of adults and baby. The salt water inlet across the way was perfect for morning coffee and the neighbors were friendly and kind. The location is perfect for a quick ride to the Island Queen ferry, downtown and local beaches but remote enough to enjoy some quiet Cape mornings. The outdoor shower and hammock in the yard were the perfect vacation treats. We would love to return to this beautiful and cozy property — appreciated all the thoughtful suggestions on local activities, only wish we had more time! show more show less

We had a wonderful start to our summer staying at the Oyster Shore Cottage! As soon as we arrived, the beautiful maintained cottage oozed cape vibes! The dock and private beach are steps away and visible from the front door. There was plenty of space for a family of 4 and my kids had their own rooms to play/relax. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. We were able to get groceries 5 minutes away which was super convenient! We barbecued and ate outside in the lovely backyard, relaxed on the hammock, and even played some family board games provided! It was super convenient to have a washer/dryer on site too so we didn't go home with too much laundry. The central air was perfect with the hot days and we all slept well.

The owner, Jen, was incredibly kind and accommodating. Wonderful to work with and so responsive! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can't wait to visit again! show more show less

We came to the cottage for a lowkey bachelorette party/girls trip. The home comfortably slept 6 of us with room to spare! It was extremely clean and organized. The beach supplies were so helpful - it felt like the house took care of every thing we'd need for us. Jen was so easy to communicate with and the detailed notebook she left was our bible for the weekend with so many fun options to explore! The area is gorgeous, we went to Old Silver beach one day and had so much fun. The house is very close to town and only 10 minutes from the ferry that takes you to Martha's Vineyard - the perfect day trip! Across the street there is a small beach and dock which was perfect for morning coffee (picnic tables too!). Overall I could not have asked for a better weekends and we all look forward to returning next summer! show more show less
