Description

Description

New Silver Beach (NSB) is a private family friendly beach community in the village of North Falmouth on Cape Cod. It is conveniently located just 15 mins from the Bourne Bridge and 25 mins from the Sagamore Bridge, making it easily accessible once you are on Cape Cod – no getting stuck in Cape traffic on Route 6! NSB is a hidden gem of Cape Cod summer destinations and is located just north (1 mile) of its more well known neighbor, Old Silver Beach. The beach is private for the community and has perfect water temperatures for swimming all summer.

The house is very close to the beach, only 3/10 miles away – a short walk (3 mins). It has 4 bedrooms (1 with a queen bed, 2xfull beds, 1 with 2 x twin beds) and 1 full bathroom the 1st floor and one half bathroom on the 2nd floor). Decent sized living room with a TV and a sun room and a front sun room that has a pull out futon. The kitchen was recently refurbished, including gas range, dishwasher and refrigerator. All your cooking needs are satisfied. Pots, pans, serving dishes, microwave, toaster and all the needed kitchen utensils are there to make your favorite meals. There is a large dining room and the dining table can seat at least 6 people. This area also has a sofa and a TV. There is an additional smaller dining area by the deck.

Out the back there is a large deck with a table that can seat at least 8 people. The large backyard is perfect for kids to run around and play games such as cornhole. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water – for rinsing off after a day at the beach or an invigorating morning shower.

The beach is private and only members of the New Silver Beach Improvement Association (NSBIA) are allowed access. The NSBIA is responsible for maintaining the beach with lifeguards, tennis court and children’s playground. The Association offers weekly activities – such as movie nights on the tennis courts and other activities for the kids – ask for details and dates. As our guest, you have access the beach and these amenities and activities.

Also a short distance to the Shining Sea Bike Path which begins close by and continues all the way through downtown Falmouth and to Woods Hole – passing by picturesque Cranberry bogs, marshes and coastline. Located within 10 miles of 5 public golf courses, downtown Falmouth and a wide selection of restaurants is only a 12 minute drive. Woods Hole is only 20 mins away where you can catch the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard for a day trip or longer.

We have been vacationing in the New Silver Beach area ourselves for over 15 years! We love the area so much that we decided to buy this house and hope to return to this area for many years to come with our family.

What is special about this property?
This house is within walking distance or a short bike ride to the private New Silver Beach - as our guest you will have full access to the beach and its amenities. The house is in a nice quiet area with a perfect backyard for outside dinners or drinks on the new patio that was installed this spring.

What is special about your town?
New Silver Beach (NSB) is a private family friendly beach community in the village of North Falmouth on Cape Cod. It is conveniently located just 15 mins from the Bourne Bridge and 25 mins from the Sagamore bridge making it easily accessible once you are on Cape Cod – no getting stuck in Cape traffic on Route 6! Also a short distance to the Shining Sea Bike Path which begins close by and continues all the way through downtown Falmouth and on to Woods Hole – passing by picturesque Cranberry bogs, marshes and coastline. Within 10 miles of 5 public golf courses, downtown Falmouth and a wide selection of restaurants is only a 12 minute drive. Woods Hole is only 20 mins away where you can catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard for a day trip or longer.
