I've been heading ''over the bridge'' for summer vacation since I was born... family paddle-ball tournaments on the beach and testing ice-cream-cone eating techniques formed my favorite childhood memories, and set the stage for the experiences I want my children to have. To me, the Cape & Islands is an oasis from the ''real world'' where children can be care free riding bikes, digging in the sand, and staying up late performing talent shows on the deck. It's a place where adults and parents can unplug, unwind, and rest easy knowing the sun and sand have sufficiently tuckered out the kiddos for a good night's sleep. It's an honor to offer Cooper Cottage to be the backdrop for your family vacations and to help inspire the memories you and your loved ones will cherish forever.

What is special about this property?
Cooper Cottage has been a part of our family for decades and offers the best of ''all'' worlds. The charming, family friendly neighborhood is situated on Great Pond and is a safe, insulated community for kids to ride bikes and play in the street. With views of Great Pond, the sun-speckled front yard is a great spot for lawn games and lounging, while the large back deck is great for meals. The bright, open-concept first floor allows for lots of ''together time'' while still offering two living spaces for different activities. The house is less than a mile from the private association beach which means you can easily walk or ride there. Two minutes from the house is the ''Little Beach'' (as we like to call it) on Great Pond- the right amount of sand and shore for non-motorized water sports, sunrise coffee or sunset cocktails, and for little ones to wade. To top it off, the Island Queen MV Ferry is 5 minutes away, the restaurants and shops of downtown Falmouth are a 10 minute drive away, and Woods Hole is 15 minutes away. What more could you need?

Falmouth has it all... the more I'm there the more I discover- and learn how much I have left to discover! Cooper Cottage is in the Teaticket/East Falmouth neighborhoods, central to downtown and to Mashpee. Local shops, fish mongers, farms, and restaurants make Falmouth special because they offer a ''taste'' of the local residents' and business owners' flair. Perhaps most notably is Falmouth's access to Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket... the house is a quick drive or bike ride from the Island Queen (passenger ferry to MV), and a 15 minute drive to Woods Hole (passenger and car ferries to MVY & ACK). Because Falmouth is only a few minutes over the bridge, you'll avoid much of the traffic that can add extra time to your journey.
