Beautiful, open home with gorgeous views of the marsh and out to Cape Cod Bay. This expansive 2800+ sq. ft home is surrounded by natural beauty. The home is advantageously located close to three bodies of water: a mile to family-friendly beaches on the Bay (First Encounter), less than a tenth of a mile walk to wonderful fresh water pond (Herring Pond) and a short drive to the amazing beaches on Cape Cod National Seashore (4 miles to Coast Guard Beach). Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the wrap-around deck, and spend your evenings toasting marshmallows over the fire pit and gazing up at the stars. Enjoy all the flowers and herbs in the multiple gardens around the yard. Play croquet or corn hole in the back yard or relax in the hammock.

Inside, the home has plenty of living space with room for families or groups to spread out or gather together without feeling cramped. As you first come in through the front door into the foyer, you will see beautiful views of the marsh. The living room features cathedral ceilings, skylights and a wall of sliders onto the back deck. The open floor plan of the first floor includes a large well-appointed kitchen and dining area with room for everyone to eat together. The main level primary bedroom suite opens on the other side of the living room. Downstairs in the walkout basement there is a family room, great for hanging out, and a ping pong room. On the second floor, there is a loft area with sectional sofa and small office nook There are 3 smart TVs equipped with YouTube TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime streaming services in the house, one in the basement, one in the loft and one in the garage apartment.

The home has 4 bedrooms, including an above-garage apartment suite. The apartment has its own full bathroom and a private balcony to sit and enjoy morning coffee with views of the marsh. In the main house, there is a primary suite on the main level with queen bed and luxurious private bathroom with a large tub and shower. The primary suite also has access to the screened porch outfitted with beautiful teak furniture. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms with beautiful marsh and bay views. The house is cooled with minisplit air conditioning on the first floor and in the primary bedroom, and with AC window units, portable fans, and ceiling fans in the three other bedrooms. The upstairs has a large full bathroom with tub/shower and skylight. Each of the bedrooms has a queen bed, and the apartment bedroom also has a twin bed as does one of the upstairs bedrooms as well. Outside of the house is a wraparound deck with plenty of outdoor seating and a screened-in porch. There is also an outdoor shower and a gas grill.

The Cape Code Rail Trail is an easy 1 mile bike ride from the house, and ocean beaches are under 10 minutes by car. Herring Pond has a nice sandy beach and is great for floating on tubes or swimming. First Encounter beach is a short 2-3 minute drive and great for families and for watching sunsets.
Downtown Orleans is under 10 minutes and can be reached via back roads so you don't have to deal with traffic on Rte 6. Provincetown is within 25 miles. This is an ideally situated Outer Cape location! read more show less
