The Cottage is 2/10 of a mile to Thumpertown Beach. Thumpertown Beach is one of the bay beaches that lends itself to family vacations at high tide as well as at low tide. The evening at Thumpertown Beach will provide a beautiful sunset display. Every evening sunset is different. Perhaps a green flash might be seen.
The Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower/tub combination. A kitchen, dining/ sitting area.
The front porch is a relaxing spot to people watch, finish that book, or just admire the nature around.
Bedroom #1 has a Queen bed, window Air Conditioner, and ceiling fan, Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed, window Air Conditioner, and ceiling fan, and Bedroom #3 is the smaller bedroom, Bunkbed with twin over full. Also at the cottage is the pantry/laundry area with a washer.
The outside of the Cottage has a cement deck off of the kitchen with a picnic table. The area around the deck has seating, and tables for outside living. There is an outside shower, and a grille is available. The neighborhood is a mix of vacationers, and year round homeowners.
A short walk or stroll to Thumpertown Beach, allows the car to stay ''put''. Close by to the Cottage 1 mile away is Wiley Park, on Great Pond, where you will find conservation land, walking trails, freshwater swimming, water activities, and a playground.The National Seashore is 1.7 miles away with bike trails and walking trails. Coast Guard, and Nauset Light Beach are 3 - 3.5 miles away.
The Wellfleet Drive- In, Audubon in Wellfleet, First Encounter Beach and Campground Beach, are all close by.
There is a new library in Eastham, as well as many eateries.
The cottage does not supply linens, or paper goods. Please remember your linens,( sheets, towels, favorite pillow) and if you ''love'' your pillow, please remember to bring it along. The cottage does provide pillows. The cottage does provide fans. read more show less
