This is our third year staying at this cottage, and there is so much to love about it! The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The main bath is spacious, and the extra half bath is great to have. Our favorite part of the cottage is the cool and breezy screened in porch. From morning coffee and breakfast, to a place to relax after the beach, to dinner and late night games at the oversized table, it was a real plus for our stay.
In addition, the beach just a short walk, and although close to stores, restaurants, and activities, the location of the cottage is perfect for a quiet and restful vacation. We will plan to return again! show more show less

I greatly enjoyed my stay in Eastham and found the cottage to be lovely. My family and I loved the back porch every evening and 2 bathrooms definitely a plus for a cottage. My favorite part was the easy beach access and the quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Alison was extremely kind and available for any concerns. Alison alerted us to minor issues but they were never a major concern. I'd would happily return as a guest, primarily because Alison was so open and helpful.

We had a great stay on Beach Plum Lane. The cottage is just as advertised; clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is great! Just a short 2-3 minute walk to a private association beach on Cape Cod bay. Also convenient to many restaurants and shopping. We loved the large screened porch and outdoor shower! It was also nice having the extra half bath, and the 4 beach chairs.

Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay there again. This was our 3rd trip to Cape Cod/Eastham in the last 4 years. Each time we have stayed at different cottage. While they were all nice, this was our favorite. show more show less

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is on a quiet road that is very close to the beach - exactly as described in the listing, there is a path that takes you to a private, association beach. It was very nice to have a king bed - as another reviewer mentioned, it's rare to find that in a rental. There are three twins in the other bedroom. It was also great to have 2 bathrooms (one is a half bath, but there is also an outdoor shower). The screened in porch off the back of the house was a great "bonus" because it adds space to the house and is a nice place to eat or hang out. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the cottage is so close to the beach! We especially enjoyed: the outdoor shower, king bed- hard to find in a rental, lovely screened in porch and dining area facing the leafy back yard, the beach is expansive and wonderful for walking and rambling. The water is 70 degrees and it's early September - amazing! Alison is so kind and thoughtful and we appreciate all the extra features that made the cottage so charming: updated bathrooms, beach chairs in good condition, a dishwasher, the beach feel and the gorgeous tree with the hammock in the front yard. Eateries within 10 minutes - we loved Young's $13 huge lobster rolls, fried scallops at Mac's, the great breakfast at Hole in One in Orleans, and the fully equipped kitchen made meals easy. Be sure to visit Nauset Beach at the National Seashore and the walking path at Salt Pond that leads to Coast Guard Beach. show more show less

This classic Cape cottage and its location were everything we'd yearned for during this so-not-normal year. The home was exactly as described but better. Clean with nicely supplied kitchen, outdoor shower and steps to a beach that was never crowded. Screened in porch was such a bonus. The hosts were attentive and responsive. We hated to leave and can't wait to go back.

The cottage was very charming and is a short walk to the beach. The bayside is just a relaxing and enjoyable area especially being able to walk out about a quarter of a mile when the tide is low. The cottage has nice amenities like a king size bed, a second (half) bath, screened in porch, outdoor shower with a dressing room and a washer and dryer. Beach chairs were available. The owners were very pleasant and accessible if we needed them. Will certainly inquire next year to rent this lovely place. show more show less

This place is such a gem. It has the feel of a classic Cape cottage with nicely updated bathrooms and a beautiful screened in porch. The washer and dryer were a great perk. It was sparkling clean (not so much as a cobweb!) and the short walk to the beach can't be beat. The owners were also very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.

We loved staying at this great cottage. The private beach is just a short walk and it is located on a clean stretch of the bay. (Almost no stones!) The house is a classic Cape cottage. Nice touches including knotty-pine walls, galley kitchen with all you need, great showers (indoor and outdoor), lots of fans, plenty of hangers and a wonderful screen porch. Alison and Jonathan were very accessible and ready to answer questions. We hope to return!
