A family oasis at Sunken Meadow (pool & bay views for 12)

We had a wonderful stay for our family vacation. The space was perfect for 6 adults, 2 kids (6 & 4) and 2 dogs. The indoor space was plenty for all of us to hang out in and the kids loved the loft space. Communication with Ed was super easy, informative and quick - before booking and throughout our trip. The deck was perfect and definitely our favorite spot, with a beautiful view and plenty of space for our kids and dogs to run around. The kitchen was fully stocked of appliances, gadgets, etc. and being a family of cooks we all appreciated it very much!

The walk to Sunken Meadow Beach was just a few minutes and our kids had no problem with the walk there and back. The beach is perfect for exploring and skim boarding. The tide goes out so far and there are lots of hermit crabs and other critters that kept our boys buys for hours.

Make sure to try Nauset Light Ice Cream, they have the best homemade ice cream in the area and sorbet was delicious too! If you're looking for another beach to go to, check out Nauset Light Beach but make sure to get there early as the lot fills ups quick. There are lots of big waves for boogie boarding and seals to watch swim around. show more show less

Great home with wonderful view of Sunken Meadow and Wellfleet Bay. Great deck and outdoor area. Easy walking distance to Sunken Meadow Beach. Home owner was very responsive.

We vacationed in this wonderfully located and spacious house for two weeks and loved every minute!
Ed is a perfect host, always caring and staying in touch although there were no problems at all: the house was spotless, the beds made up on our arrival, everything was exactly as described and everything in the house worked. As a nice surprise a welcome basket waited for us - what a friendly gesture of hospitality!
The deck offers spectacular views all day long, the bay beach is only a short walk away. We loved to watch the sunsets there!
The outdoor shower is fantastic, everybody enjoyed it.
The interior is chosen with a lot of taste: colors, furniture, decoration: we just loved everything!

This home is a wonderful family vacation spot!! We loved the view from the deck and spent much time relaxing there. With our family of 10 which included grand parents, children with spouses and 4 grandchildren, we had plenty of space.

The upper loft was absolutely perfect for our 9, 8, 6, and 5 year old grandchildren!! We rode our bikes to the beach every day and also had fun on the rail trail which was close by! We hope to be back next year... missing that great outdoor shower!!

We stayed in this beautiful 3 story home the last week in June into July. It accommodated our large party perfectly (including our dog). Everyone had their own space but was able to gather together on the large deck with amazing views.

The house was immaculately clean on arrival and provided us with all the amenities we could ask for. I would highly recommend this beautiful, upgraded house for your stay on the Cape to everyone!

This house is on a quiet street. Very safe for bike riding, especially for children. The house is very close to Sunken Meadow Beach which was lovely. There was a beautiful deck overlooking a nature preserve. We loved the outdoor shower! The loft bedroom was great for kids. The house was in a perfect location. It will not disappoint!

We had a lovely stay at Ed and Kate's... the house is comfortable and well appointed, with a number of places on the three levels for all to find privacy. We especially enjoyed sunsets on the beautiful deck looking out on sunken meadow beach and the easy walk to enjoy the beach itself!
