This is our second-year renting from Scott and Megan, and we truly enjoyed everything about their home in Eastham. The house is everything promised, spacy, sunny, comfortable and meticulously clean. The hosts are gracious and took care of everything. We truly enjoyed our vacation to Eastham Ma.

We enjoyed the home both inside and out. The outdoor offers tons of relaxing options from the covered patio table to a great fire pit area that we used several times during the week. The indoors were clean and spacious and you can tell the owners have been hard at work making updates. My 8 year old son and his friend loved the basement area with the game tables. A very quiet road that is great for nighttime relaxation. A great spot to enjoy a vacation for sure.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The house is absolutely spectacular! Very clean, well kept, great location! It provided all that we could ask for and more!! The homeowners were wonderful to work with. They responded very quickly to any correspondences we had. I would highly recommend a stay here!

We loved our stay at Scott and Megan's home. We were there during one of the hottest weeks I have ever been on the cape. The cooling system in the house was awesome, the outdoor area was excellent and provided a great escape from the sun and heat, and the basement was a fun spot for not only the adults, but the five kids under 6 with us as well—air hockey table, ping pong, etc. great location to the bayside beaches, short drive to nauset light, and close to many restaurants and amenities. House was very maintained and we were grateful we lucked out with such a great spot—it was our first vacation since COVID and the first for our kids! Upon arrival, I went to the bathroom and wash my face. I grabbed a washcloth to wash my face. The washcloth smelled like metal and made me gag

The floors had sand on them and our feet became dirty the moment we took off our shoes.

The one couch in the front room feels dirty and squeaks when you sit on it. It's not comfortable

With the exception of the master bedroom, and most of the bands uncomfortable. They feel like your laying on springs

The microwave was dirty and had grease on the counter in front of the door along with food particles inside it which took me several times to clean with paper towels and cleaner

The oven is caked with a grease to such a degree I don't know how anyone would be comfortable putting their food in it. The grill is extremely old and beyond dirty. Still had a spatula in it

The pots and hands in the kitchen cabinet had egg stuck on them

If there is actually a cleaning crew, they are not cleaning the home

The upstairs bathroom shower was covered in dust along the shelf where you put shampoo.

The directions say to leave linens inside black trash bags. It says they will be more time given for sanitation. I'm not sure how this is sanitary by any means.


The house is quiet. Although the appliances are old, having them clean and in working order would be nice. The refrigerator icemaker covered with blue tape is an eyesore with a big sign that says do not use.

The private street is mostly quiet with the exception of hearing the movie theater at night

I did not contact the owner during our stay because the standards of cleanliness clearly has been like that for a long time. I didn't feel it would help. We just dealt with it and ordered out every night.

I purchased my own cleaning products and sprayed down the bathrooms and swept the floors. The House was definitely cleaner when I left.

Washer and dryer are new and it was nice to be able to wash the towels. I was thankful that those appliances were in working order.


A deep cleaning of appliances and home along with better mattresses would make this home doable

We had the best time stay at this property. The house was beautiful but the outside space was the best! Truly unmatched from other homes we've stayed in. As a parent with young kids, the absolute best part was the shed filled with beach toys and chairs! We didnt have to pack a bunch if stuff we normally would have. Would definitely stay here again. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout booking and our stay.

The Outdoor Space at this house has everything covered. A large Deck for haninig out and sun bathing. A hammock to sneak away and read, or not. Seating with a giant umbrella to stay cool and chat by day but it lights up and takes care of those evening get togethers as well. A fire pit for a nice fire after dinner and corn hole for some fun when you dont feel like going to the beach. One Night in the rain we all sat in the gazebo listening to music and talking, It was really nice. So you can even be out in the rain. The House itself has plenty of space and air conditioning with a well appointed kitchen. We have been renting here for years as it accomodates the needs of all ages.

Awesome house on a private street in Eastham, The house has everything a renter may need, plus a lovely backyard. The owner is very accommodating and easy to deal with.

Our only concern was lack of cooling or ventilation in common spaces and in the play room in the basement. With summer heat waves becoming so commonplace, we could not enjoy the basement games and ping-pong much; staying in the kitchen, or the dining room, even in the evening, was problematic - too hot. Nevertheless, we rate this place with 5 stars- with the hope that, at least, a fan will be available.

We had a wonderful vacation stay! The house was very comfortable, and the yard was beyond our expectations. Being a COvid vacation, it was refreshing to have a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen had more than enough cabinet space for groceries, and all the dishes, cutlery, and glassware an extended family of 9 could want. Scott was very accomodating about changing the bedroom furniture to an easier placement. We are hoping to return again next year.

The house was nice! clean and comfortable.... quiet and secluded area! I highly recommend this house to any family that wants to spend time at the the Cape! We cant wait till next summer....

We loved this home - it checked all the boxes as it was clean, spacious, and had an amazing outdoor area for dinners outside and hanging out by the fire pit. We would definitely rent again.

The fact that we had perfect weather all week helped a lot, However; The house and the amenities were great. Plenty of room. Good size bedrooms. The A C in the rooms was nice at night for comfortable sleeping. TV in other rooms to sneak away to watch a favorite show. The star of the show though is the outdoor space that has everything in mind. Lighted umbrella for nights on the deck. Fire Pit to sit around with the family and a cool gazebo sitting area for outdoor lunches and dinner. Great Place

Our visit on the Cape came at a time of unsurity. We had great communication with Scott prior to our visit, and he was very kind and approachable. We had a fantastic visit in light of the current climate! The home was wonderful, cozy, and large enough for 2 families with 8 kids. The outdoor space provided enough room for everyone to hang out, and the inside was just as refreshing. Our children had a blast, and Scott's home made this all possible. We highly recommend this property and look forward to renting again soon!

Although we only spent four days on the Cape, we packed everything in. Bicycle riding, walking the Wildlife Santuary, the Windmill Parade and a sunset at Sunken Meadow Beach.
Your house is lovely and so comfortable, inside and out. We hope to return in the summer!!

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We had a great time going to Corn Hill, White Crest, Marconi, Cahoon Hollow and Race Point beaches. The house had all the comforts we needed for a great vacation. We enjoyed the fire pit, deck, basement and open living room and kitchen. The location was an east walk to Sunken Meadow Beach and Wellfleet. Thanks Again for Everything!

Looking forward to our second summer in this house! We have been doing family vacations at the Cape for many years. This is by far our best rental we are so happy to be returning for another summer of fun.

We have been visiting the cape for over 20 years and this year continued to show us why we keep coming back! Beautiful weather, beaches and sunsets as always. We were able to visit Arnolds to eat ice cream as well as visit Cape Escape for some mini golf. First Encounter is our favorite beach for sunsets!

Lovely home, perfect for our family reunion. Was very clean and had everything we needed. Our host was very personable and wonderful to work with. Loved that it was a private road, close to everything, and very cozy. Everything that was provided was above and beyond what I would have expected!

Greetings! My friends and I rented the house for the 4th of July weekend. As soon as we pulled up to the charming property, we knew it was going to be the perfect setting for Cape Cod activities. Our electric group of friends bonded over beach games, campfire stories, and hammock swinging. We even got 12 pre-cooked lobsters to enjoy our very own New England "clam bake" right outside on the deck - yum!
Overall we had a fun-tastic weekend here, and we're already planning our next trip out.

We had a magnificent time at this vacation home! The house was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed and more. This house was perfect because we were able to enjoy the great escape of nature while being close enough to the beach to go whenever we wanted without any hassle. We had a fun barbecue on the patio and s’mores around the fire. Overall, we were lucky to have found such a great place to have our vacation and can’t wait to come back next year!
