Words cannot begin to describe the joy my family experienced spending two weeks at this beautiful home. We spent many years here in the early 2000's before the family stopped renting it out for awhile. My son started walking in this house. I was pregnant with my twin daughters the first time we were here. The memories!! Just so special. We are so grateful we were able to visit again and enjoy the incredible upgrades since we were last there. The house is just beautiful. The deck is perfect for family meals and just hanging out. The new porch was my favorite place to read a book by myself, and the closeness to the beach is just perfect. Thumpertown Beach has a special place in my heart and so does this house. Large families will have plenty of space to spread out and also to be together. The outdoor shower is wonderful and the kitchen has everything you need. The memories my children and I created here, both in the past and this summer, are priceless. I would come back here every year forever if I could. What a great fit for our family gathering! Listing is completely as advertised, Colleen was incredibly responsive from initial rental request thru departure.
We had family from Maine to the west coast and everyone was comfortable the entire week.
Room for grandkids to relax away from the bay and/or beach too!
We will be back!!

What a fabulous Cape house! It's spacious for a large family with children. The place is immaculately clean and beautifully furnished with a beach motif. Colleen has thought of everything one needs to enjoy a fun filled relaxed week on the cape. From kitchen tools to beach tools, she has thought of everything in between. Oh..... and the beach, it's just a short walk down the street. What a phenomenal beach Thumpertown is! It's great for kids and adults. We have stayed at Joe's Beach House for the past 2 summers and are looking forward to another two week stay this summer. We have stayed in several other rentals on Cape Cod and other beaches worldwide, and can say with complete certainty that Joe's Beach House is our favorite vacation rental.

The spacious home is sparkling clean and tastefully decorated, The open floor plan and modern kitchen are great for family gatherings. The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to Thumpertown Beach, one of the best family beaches on Cape Cod. The homeowner has always been receptive and available. Joe's Beach House was everything my family and I had hoped for.The location and the condition of the cottage exceeded our expectations. Having been visitors to the Cape since the 60s we were somewhat familiar with this street. Being walking distance to the beach was so convenient and ideal for vacationing with young children. We thought nothing of walking there in the morning, home for lunch, back to the beach, home for dinner on the deck and then back to the beach to watch the sunset. So easy!

The cottage itself is even better than it appears in the photos. Three floors of living space allows for maximum privacy. The open floor plan is ideal, attractive and so convenient. Great outdoor space. A wonderful vacation! show more show less

This has to be one of the nicest rentals in Eastham close to a beach. It has a state-of-the-art kitchen. There is not one thing you could want that is not supplied in this kitchen for your cooking experience. There are three outdoor spaces. One in the front of the property, one in the back where there is a grill and table for outdoor dining, and a beautiful screened in porch. The three bedrooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Using the outdoor shower when you return from the beach keeps a lot of sand from entering the house. A very nice laundry room off the kitchen. This Is really someone's home and not just a rental. There is off street parking which is very valuable. Whether you are entertaining guests or lounging around enjoying your own vacation, you'll be lucky to have all of the extras that are packed into this house. We have never had a rental that provided a piano. We really enjoyed our time in this beautiful house. Thank you for sharing. show more show less

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this wonderful Eastham home. The location cannot be beat, steps to Thumpertown Beach make it great to wake up and take the very short walk to the bayside beach. Our daughters spent hours looking for crabs and sea glass.
The cedar screened in porch is great for relaxing after the beach or to unwind with a glass of wine.

The kids enjoyed flat screen TV with Netflix and we enjoyed the spacious kitchen that had everything you could think of. />
The location is great, a short drive to Ben & Jerry's and the Drive in. The house felt like a home and not a rental. It was our best vacation at the Cape. show more show less
