4 BR Cape Near Bayside Beaches

This newly renovated four bedroom Cape is at the end of a dirt road cul de sac with a large, private back yard within walking distance to the bayside beaches. Let your children play outside without worrying about the traffic because there isn't any. Walking distance to the bay.

There are two bedrooms on the each floor. The upstairs bedrooms each have two beds in them, one with two queens and the other with a queen and a full. The first floor has a master with attached bathroom and another bedroom with a daybed trundle that can pop up into a King size.

Enjoy the large back yard with outdoor shower, children's natural Playscape with natural sandbox and common turtle sightings.

During the summer we will be doing Friday to Friday rentals.

    Wonderful week at the Cape

House was very comfortable and fit all eleven of us (6 adults 5 kids) easily. Nice large kitchen and large backyard had plenty of play room for the kids. Very close to Campground beach. We bought beach parking passes which made many beaches available. The flats are the best. We have spent almost 50 years going to Brewster and this was our first time in Eastham. Worked out very well.

Lovely Location - Photos match reality!

Just spent a lovely week in this lovely home. Clean upon arrival and had a very homey feel. The kitchen had ample room for 3 adults to cook, prep meals and fix cocktails with enough space for other folks to join the conversation. Side note - you do not need to bring ANY THING from a kitchen perspective as this was fully stocked with pans, serving trays, knives, etc. However, if you're looking to make frozen drinks, you might want to bring a blender.

We had 3 full time adults and 3 full time kids with 2 husbands that came in and out during the week without it feeling over crowded. Kids ages were 15, 12 and 9 - enough space for people to have their own space when needed. The bay side beach was a mere 7 minute walk up a trail and it was perfect for swimming. However, be aware that the beach is at the bottom of a very steep staircase. This is pretty common for bayside beaches - but the photo doesn't give you the perspective of the height. If you're a strategic beach planner, this will be perfect for you. It was for us. But if you have a paddleboard, you might want to consider keeping it at home, or venturing to one of the other streams/coves for your paddling adventures. The house is also not a far distance away from a great Cape bakery that is walkable (about a mile) and they have fantastic donuts, muffins, apple fritters...and so on. Coffee (nitro, cold brew, iced, hot and fancy....it hit all the right spots for everyone concerned.

In a nutshell, this was a great place, good location with a lovely, communicative owner who was available when needed. Thanks again!!

    Perfect Location

My family and I have been going to Cape Cod, specifically to Eastham, for over 20 years. To date we have only stayed at two houses and have decided to switch it up this year. This house was AMAZING. All three "regular" bedrooms were very roomy, and the "extra bedroom" was also very roomy, but if you don't need to use it for a bedroom, an excellent bonus room.

Here are all the things we loved:
    1. the kitchen was HUGE (compared to other homes we rented). There was a TON of counter space and also storage space for snacks etc.
    2. A/C - the description says there are A/Cs in each room (window units), however these window units kept the whole house cool as a cucumber throughout our entire stay.
    3. (Should have been #1) Jennifer, house owner, was very attentive, and actually texted me a few times during the week, unprompted, to see how things were going
    4. Growing up we have always gone to the ocean. This house is no further from the National Seashore, Marconi, Nauset, etc, but also just a five min walk to the bay!! This was so key to us this year since we had a baby with us. Also since the Cape has had so many shark sightings, the bay is sooooo desirable!!
    5. THE BACKYARD!!! OMG! this backyard was TO DIE FOR!! if you've rented at the Cape before, you probably expect no backyard, or a woodchip/seashell backyard....not here! HUGE backyard with TONS of room for KanJam, frisbee, cornhole, wiffleball, etc...
    6. Outdoor Shower - the outdoor shower is actually bigger than my regular (at home) bathroom...and there was a line for it. it's SO COOL w/the tree inside, and everyone genuinely loved it!!
    7. Kids Stuff - we didn't have any use for it (our baby was only 7 months) but there is a TON of kid toys, pack and play, outdoor stuff for kids....super good to know

The only things i want to mention, which aren't even negative, but just so people know are the following:
    1. Owner has a big lobster pot and a ton more kitchen stuff than any other cape house we've been at. If you're like us and plan to bring a bunch of your own kitchen supplies, I'd just message her ahead of time because she (in my opinion) has it all—way more than she posts in her listing!!
    2. The wood chip pic w/the kids toys. Just an FYI—this picture makes the space look about 10x bigger than it is. Don't let this deter you, because the rest of the home pics (inside) are accurate, but outside wood chip area is much smaller than looks in the picture

Jennifer, we truly had the best time at your place! it was CLEAN, it was nicely decorated and we had a wonderful time!!

Wonderful Cape Cod Rental for Families

We just spent a fantastic week of vacation at this spacious, welcoming home ! Beautifully decorated and thoroughly accommodating for our family of six adults and three grandsons, ages 11, 7 and 4. The backyard is nicely shaded and the landscaping is beautifully done. Many mornings we had coffee on the deck, enjoying the quiet and nature.

The house provided many toys and games for all of us. Many family game nights ! Location of this house is perfect. A short walk on a pathway to a private beach, close to public bay beaches, Wiley Pond and other popular destinations.

This home has all the amenities to satisfy a complete family. The owners were very helpful and most accessible. We have been vacationing as a family at the Cape for over ten years and this home is the Perfect Fit !! Looking forward to next year !!!!

Don - Thank you for taking the time to fill out a review right after your vacation. It is greatly appreciated but also makes us so happy to hear people loving our house as much as we do. We are also happy to know that we will be seeing you and your family again next summer. Stay tuned. IF winter goes right, we may have a new surprise in the house after this winter!

    Amazing Cape Cod Getaway House

We just spent a fabulous week in this house, and I am excited to share lots of details to help you plan for your stay (especially in case you, like me, are not a local). First, the owner is fantastic. Very great with communications, addressing any issues that were unexpected, answering questions, etc. SUPER easy to work with.

Location: Eastham, half way up the Cape. Ideal location super close to ocean beaches (sandy beaches, big waves!), bay beaches (sandy beaches, calmer), and freshwater ponds (calm, docks to sit on & jump off, shallow entry). It's super quick to get down to Orleans for amenities (groceries, etc), but far up enough to feel quiet and relaxed. Easy drive up to Provincetown and back if you want to go up for a day trip. We stayed in Wellfleet last year, which is beautiful, but just too remote when you need anything.

You can walk to a beautiful bay-side beach from the house. The walk is via a pathway in the woods, down a road, then down a large set of stairs. It's not the kind of walk you want to take while schlepping a bunch of beach stuff or young kids, but it's great if you're light on gear or just want to walk down there for a walk/run along the beach or to take in a gorgeous sunset. Never fear, there are beaches galore within a 5-10 minute drive (with your gear and kids in tow). There are lots of great restaurants, mini-golf, bike paths, a drive-in theater, shops, and other activities to participate in around here.

The house itself is in fantastic shape. The kitchen is HUGE and stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. It comes with a sponge, dish and dishwasher soap, and little things like that, but no food items except salt & pepper (no other spices), so be sure to pack your own. (Also bring foil, plastic wrap, baggies, and containers for leftovers). The dining room seats 10 comfortably, more if you squeeze 'em (there is a high chair and 2 booster seats). The bar seats 3. The living room has an amazingly comfortable sofa that has two reclining sections, plus an oversized comfy chair. The place is outfitted with kids in mind (small kid table/chairs, toys for young kids, outlet covers throughout, nothing breakable within reach, etc. The 2 bedrooms upstairs each have two queen sized beds with lots of space in between them for luggage and moving around. There is a full bath with shower-over-tub upstairs. Downwstairs there is a large bedroom (with toys) with two twin beds, best used by kids (they feel more like cots, my 7 year old found it to be perfect). The master bedroom has a KING SIZE sleep number bed and a closet so large my son slept it in it one night on a mattress. (not joking!) LOVE the sleep number bed.

We ordered linen service, so all beds came made-up, and all bathrooms stocked with fluffy new bath and hand towels, and washcloths. Each bed comes with 2 pillows per "person". They are light/fluffy/fiber-fill. (BYO if you like down) The downstairs bathroom opens to the master BR and also the hallway. Dual-sink vanity (aka marriage-saver), and shower stall. Full size washer and dryer are right off the kitchen.

The basement media room: large sectional, coffee table, big TV w/surround sound. My 15 year old nephew claimed that room as his own man-cave. Everything is clean, in excellent condition, super practical, and family friendly. There is a sliding door from the living/dining room to a nice large deck with outdoor table/umbrella and a HUGE private yard. Outdoor shower (we didn't use). 4-car parking in the driveway. Convenient grill (one side charcoal, one side gas). Nice quiet, peaceful location. Way off-street (dirt road, actually) - your kids can play without fear of them running out onto a busy street. A/Cs in all bedrooms + living room (a godsend!). Friendly neighbors. Cabinet full of games, mostly geared toward very young kids, but there are some fun games for older kids and adults too. I found the coffee table the perfec

    Wonderful Vacation Home for Families

We had a wonderful week long stay at this property, enjoying the Bayside beach, area sights, and the house amenities. The house was spacious enough for our group: 8 adults and 4 small children. It's beautifully decorated and updated inside the house, and the backyard was perfect for the little ones with a large grass yard, a small wood chip area for playing, and a small sand pit as well. We also loved using the well-designed outdoor shower. The house is nestled in the woods, but after a short walk of about 5-10 minutes (even a 4-year-old could walk it on his own), we arrived at the (long) stairwell to a quiet, never crowded stretch of the Bayside beach. The house has many excellent indoor and outdoor toys for children to use, which helped keep our little ones entertained throughout the week without us having to bring them in our already packed cars. The homeowner gave us a warm welcome and was always available when any questions arose. This was an excellent choice for our mini-family reunion Cape vacation! show more show less
