    Great House

We have vacationed at this beach house for two years and we hope to be able to rent it again for our Cape stay because we had a wonderful time. The house is clean, spacious, well stocked and only a few minutes walk from the beach and to the Landing for our daily ice cream treat. It was also an easy drive away to the National Seashore and Mass Audubon for walks and hikes, sunset views over the bay, and to our favorite breakfast spot, Hole in One.

    Perfect Cape House

We are a family of five and can not say enough positive things about this home, it is just perfect. The location is wonderful, a few minutes walk to Campground Beach and a few minutes walk to a neighborhood store/cafe, The Landing. The Landing has an ice cream window and also sells lite breakfast and lunch, candy, wine, sushi and any goods you might need, my boys LOVED walking there. The house is fantastic, large driveway, large deck with nice patio furniture and a fenced in, flat, very safe backyard. Brand new giant Webber grille with plenty of propane tanks. Deck has gates you can close off in case you have little ones. Fantastic outdoor shower perfect for after the beach or rinsing your feet. Excellent trash and recycling pickup, with receptacles. Very large kitchen with peninsula/stools, dishwasher, sparkling fridge, open concept with a large family room. Very comfortable furniture. Kitchen has absolutely everything you need. Large bedroom off kitchen w comfortable bed and AC, lots of closet space. Full bathroom off kitchen with washer/dryer. Two very large bedrooms upstairs and a second full bathroom. The bedrooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. AC units work very well throughout and kept the home cool. Beach toys, chairs, bikes in the basement. We have been renting on the cape for years and this is by far our favorite house, we will be booking it for the third time this upcoming summer. show more show less

    Absolutely fantastic beach house

We had such a completely lovely time at this beach house! Super easy walk to the BEST bay beach, Campground -- the kids could walk it without complaint, and no stairs to negotiate once we got there! We caught the sunset at the beach almost every day. The house itself is even nicer and larger than it appears in the photos, so welcoming, and it was outfitted with everything we could possibly want -- cooking tools, beach toys, a beach cart for hauling everything, even a few bikes! Also a fantastic base for exploring the National Seashore, Cape Cod Rail Trail, Great Pond and the park, Wellfleet and even Provincetown. Multiple mini golf spots and ice cream parlors in easy driving distance. (Nauset Ice Cream for the win in our book!) Communication with the owner was clear, helpful, prompt and cordial. Really one of our very best rental experiences on the Cape, after MANY years of hopping from house to house. Looking forward to a return trip! show more show less

Relaxing - Wonderful week in Eastham

My wife & I experienced a beautiful beach week while renting this fantastic home in Eastham. Spacious, clean & well maintained, this home provided a comfortable, relaxing haven after our days at the beach, biking & visiting Cape Cod friends. Backyard deck & grill were great for evening meals. Parking was plentiful for our vehicle(s).

    Fabulous Girls (with kids) Weekend

We are having an amazing stay at your lovely home. The bayside beach is perfect for the kids, everything is so close (shopping, grocery store, restaurants, beaches) while the neighborhood still feels so quiet and private. Plenty to do in rain or shine, and the house provides everything we could possibly need. Thank you, Natalie & Harry!

    Great house, location

My family stayed here for a long weekend in July, when the owners had a surprise opening. This is a great house. It is very well stocked for cooking, eating, drinking, playing! We found everything we needed for a birthday barbecue and cake-baking. Very comfortable. A nice open layout on the first floor, good deck and decent-size backyard. No A/C but we found the many fans more than sufficient. The walk to Campground Beach is less than 5 minutes and the house provides lots of fun stuff to take along, including wagon to make it all easier. The house is on a busy road, but the yard is behind the house so it is safe and quiet. The kids in our family absolutely loved the double bunk beds in the kids' room and all the beach toys. The bathrooms were spacious and sparkling clean. We were just really happy with our stay here, and really appreciated the owners' flexibility and friendliness. Not a single complaint! show more show less

We stayed at this house for a week in July and had a great time. The house is lovely - spacious, clean, well-stocked, and we were pleasantly surprised at how kid-friendly it is. We have a 2 and 4 year old and it was perfect for them! There were a ton of beach toys, including a beach umbrella, a cart for the beach stuff and a cart for the kids, and the kids loved sharing the bunk-bed room. The backyard was great too - they loved playing with the yard toys and swinging on the hammock. We ate most of our meals outside on the porch, and even found a little kiddie table for the kids to eat at when we had visitors.

The location is also fantastic. Close to many lovely beaches (we spent most of our time at First Encounter which is lots of fun at low tide), and also a short bike ride to the rail trail, as well as close to many restaurants, stores, etc.

    Highly recommended! Enjoy!

We enjoy the cape with our family as often as we can and rent out our vacation home when we are not using the house. We have young kids (early elementary age) & we keep the house stocked with board games & beach toys for all to use.

What is special about this property?
Great location for walking to bay side campground beach in Eastham. About a 5 min walk to the beach and walking away from the beach an even closer landmark The Landing I cream, coffee, wine shop / general store is fun for older kids & all ages to walk over for ice cream.

What is special about your town?
Eastham has the national seashore visitor center (with ranger led activities, lectures & shellfishing, plus can tour historic windmills, historic captains house ). Eastham also has the largest kettle pond on cape cod, Great Pond, the Cape Cod rail trail bike path. Nice playgrounds: behind town hall, at Great Pond, and at the elementary school. Eastham also has some family fun restaurants: the Red Barn (pizza & mini-golf) Arnold's (fried fish & mini-golf), & the Friendly Fisherman (seafood restaurant & fish market) with outdoor seating & playscape. A nice play area for little kids at the public library for rainy days. Free concerts on the Windmill on the green once a week. Plus bay side beaches and ocean side beaches (can easily ride bikes from one side of Eastham (bay side) to the other (ocean-side) and back.
