We’ve stayed at many properties on the Cape and we really enjoyed this house. Tim was such an easygoing host, helpful and friendly, and check in was simple even though we arrived late. My kids loved the private beach with its warm water and the water trampoline! And I was excited to find a 100yr old Parisian perfume bottle in the water! I was struck by how quiet and safe the home felt, and really enjoyed the breeze through the windows. It was a very easy drive to everything. It was great for our small dogs, and the deck was lovely for dinners by the grill. You can tell the home is loved with a lot of family history. show more show less

Bass River Beauty is a comfortable and roomy house with a great water view of an inlet of Bass River. There is a private beach away from the summer crowds. Large outdoor space for croquet, volleyball, whatever...and wonderful bird watching. You are close to everything you need - food, shopping, entertainment and ocean beaches. Tim is a wonderful host. The house is supplied with everything you need. A perfect summer beach house. Will come back!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your aptly named "Bass River Beauty"! I loved the view and enjoyed drinking my coffee out there each morning and sometimes even a cocktail in the evening! My kids (ages 17, 12, and 11) all enjoyed the water trampoline and used it just about every day. The house was comfortable, clean and welcoming.

This was our first vacation in the Dennis area of the Cape and we loved the beaches, the park and all Dennis has to offer. The house is in a great location. You can walk to the private beach which is perfect for the kids. However, the house is also centrally located so we got to try many of the beaches (Mayflower, West Dennis, South Village and even Red River in nearby Harwich). My favorite beach was Mayflower but the kids loved doing the banana boats and jet skis at West Dennis! The park that is about a mile away was great too! We took walks on the exercise path each morning and played tennis at night. My son and daughter also played hoops on the basketball courts. Great restaurants in the area too! We loved Captain Frosty's and Chapin's.

"We vacationed at Tim's home in August of 2009. It was my wife, 3 daughter's and their husbands. I cannot say enough about this property. It was spotless when we arrived and the veiw spectacular.
